You did this a fairly long time ago Ben and posted it on RUclips back then so I’m sure many have previously seen you do it, told other friends about it, and tried it since - which means you’re still the inventor of the trick - unless someone can honestly say they performed it with witnesses seeing it before your first video about it… I would suggest naming it Ben’s …. then follow the usual kitesurfing conventions that fully describes the whole trick in the right order without ambiguity. You perform the above trick brilliantly, thanks enormously for sharing. :)
I saw you do this on an earlier video, and watched that segment over and over. It looks super smooth. Can't wait to get out, and use my limited time learning this!! I think "the Benz" would be a great name. Thanks!!!
It‘s a 360, not a tack… I also did it strapless and on my foil before - but never saw it on a twinntip tip. It‘s also very different as the twinntip doesen flot that much…
@@BenBeholzVlogs funny i did this trick accidentally yesterday before watching you’re tutorial @ least now i know what I did 😂😂keep on making Blogs I like them 🙌ps we missed each other in Tarifa in Februar with one day
Cool tutorial! I have seen couple of people do similar trick but approaching on heelside and do nose pivot between 180s using pull of kite. There are clips of Andrea or Lorenzo doing it between jumps on lord's of tram last year.
@@BenBeholzVlogs Couldn't find the clip of Italian but fortunately for me Yourii did this in Colin's latest video ( ruclips.net/video/LzrsRe5jhzw/видео.html ). It is a similar concept as your trick but it is transition and done heel to heel with pivot turn.
@@BenBeholzVlogs Also I have to try to mix both of these tricks next time I will be on the water. Start on heelside do a 360 with pivot midway ending on toeside. Probably kitloop will be necessary to keep power and speed. Keeping board on the watersurface ofc :)
Just saw this trick performed by Ewan Jaspan this weekend at a demo event near Corpus Christi, Texas. He did it like you, as a 360 but also as a transition varying between surface moves and a whole lot of airtime. Very nice tutorial, thanks! I’m going to try it.
@@BenBeholzVlogs Yes, he did initiate it from toe-side and you both look so smooth doing this move. I tried it in the meantime but never really got the timing right. It was a debacle. Guess I have to practice a lot more ;-)

What about "Toeside 360" ... thanks for yet another awesome tutorial. Will try and get out on a lake in Alberta this week and see whether I can replicate this, looks like fun!
@@BenBeholzVlogs it's a toeside backroll, without leaving the water... same with when you do a heel side bankroll handdrag. I will do one tomorrow for you, and record it.

@@BenBeholzVlogs You're right, Ben. I think my memory has failed me. It wasn't toeside. And I note you're doing a full 3 whereas I think it Carolina's was a 180 without a kiteloop. You're very stretched out, very stylish. It must look fantastic with the kite. Congratulations Ben!

That's just like a toeside tack from strapless surfboard riding, but on a twintip :)

With a surf is fun to do it going up the wave instead of the first cutback

Hi Ben, habe leider Probleme mit dem Upwindfahren in Switch. Hast du da ein Vorschlag?

Sieht echt stylisch aus. Wie wär's mit Double B 360!
It’s a surface tack from toeside with a down loop to aid the exit. Stronger foiler do this transition.
Exactely - but in foiling it is very different…
way cool trick, I don't remember anyone doing this. I want to learn this one bad!
