Same, lol. I've checked every day. It's on my top 3 favourite games (all platforms combined) and I've never been able to share it with anyone or seen anyone play it. I'm so excited!
Some stuff that would've been left to do: - The reward for catching all 100 Golden Skulltulas would've been 200 rupees. - If you go back to the farm as an adult and win the horseback obstacle course, you win your own cow (it lives in your house in the forest) - For the final bottle, you needed to bring ten big poes to the ghost merchant in Hyrule. - The final magical spell (Nayru's Love) can be found in the big fairy's fountain in the desert. - Catching a new record at the fishing pond at Lake Hylia will give you the golden scale (9-second dive). - And of course, some heart pieces (you can extend your energy bar to 20 hearts). Anyway, thank you so much for this playthrough, and I'm totally excited for you to try out Majora's Mask (It's a completely different game, but it definitely has the typical "Zelda atmosphere" surrounding it 😄)

Adding to this the remaining magic bean spots (10 total) which would have been in service to Golden Skultulas or hearts. And some of the sundry heart related questing. Like the musical frogs. Also, while totally pointless by the time you have collected all 100 Golden Skultulas, that reward is infinite rupees, in the form of 200 every time you enter that house and talk to them.
humm, also, just for the onscreen facepalm... if he'd pulled up locations for all the fairy fountains.. that might have been pretty amusing (especially the one just outside the forest temple where he kept farming them). And the much more obscure trick of luring butterflies with the deku stick to turn them into fairies.
Personally Im happy you arent rushing through the games. A lot of Zeldas charm is in the side content. A little less in Ocarina, but future games like Majoras Mask and Wind Waker I highly reccomend doing everything youwant to do before the finishing the games. Also is this a sign we'll see Majoras Mask this week?! I honestly didnt think we'd see it till after the elden ring dlc for some reason

You were never gonna get the 4th bottle. I feel like since this is your last episode, I can say it: There are 10 special poes out in Hyrule Field as an adult, called big poes. You need to get on Epona and shoot them down (because they run away, that's how you can tell them apart from normal poes). Sell them to the poe collector at the castle town entry for a measly 50 rupees, but for each big poe, he will give you 100 points. When you get 1000 points, he gives you a bottle. As for the 3rd spell, you didn't explore the area outside the spirit temple at all. There are a couple gold skulltulas at night, a heart piece on an arch that you need to use beans to get (which also means there is a dirt patch... that you walked over I swear twice), and a bombable wall that leads to a fairy fountain.
@@DiegoAlencar8 In my latest run of OOT (on the 3ds, master quest), even I got stuck on 19 hearts, and had to use a guide... mainly just as a check list to see which ones I missed. Fortunately, the skulltulas are easier as the game keeps track for you when you got all the tokens from a dungeon or from an area... but the 100 token reward doesn't really do anything if you already beat the game... it can help prepare you for the final fight if you want to stock up, but...

Fun fact about the song of time blocks that not many people are aware of, which makes them make a bit more sense. You're not just randomly summoning a block, you're moving it through time. If you visit the places where you can summon or unsummon one as a child or vice versa, it'll be in the opposite state. Most people don't notice this because a lot of the areas you use it aren't even accessible as a child. Seems like a mechanic that was probably originally going to be more involved, but that they didn't really flesh out.
I LOVE that you came back to finish the masks quest, doing it at the very end right before Majora's Mask fits so incredibly well it's crazy. The Gerudo course and the 50th skulltulla were also a lot of fun, thanks for the bonus ep man Looking forward to seeing you play Majora's Mask and hope you enjoy it just as if not more than OoT, take care!
Tips you missed: You can charge your sword for an AOE attack by holding the Sword button until it goes from a blue glow to a gold glow. Super useful for killing those shield stealers from a distance. You can roll immediately after the hover boots activate to increase your distance in the air. Run off edge, then, immediately roll with the hover boots and you'll go really far.
On today's episode of "New things I learned about Ocarina of time": apparently wearing the Bunny Hood prevents the Stalchildren from spawning at night.
Was about to comment this. The Skull Mask also has the side effect of making it so Keese don’t attack you. I think those are the only two with unmentioned side effects like that.
The ice arrows have a hidden use in the Bongo Bongo boss fight. They can be used to freeze one of Bongo Bongo's hands forcing the demon to use it's other hand to break the but while it's doing this it's eye will be open and vulnerable to an arrow. Also a few tips when hunting Gold Skulltullas: a Skulltulla symbol will appear on the map for a location where all the gold Skulltullas have been killed. Some holes can only be found by rolling into a tree, using the song of storms near a tree or bombing a tree or a stone circle.
The 3rd Great Fairy fountain is in an area that you didn't spend much time exploring. That's about as much info I can give without completely spoiling it.

As a big Zelda fan it’s always a shame how little screen time the series gets. Everyone plays/streams BotW and TotK but fun, thoughtful, blind playthroughs of any of the other games are few and far between. Despite, as was said, it being such an iconic and well known franchise, youd never know looking at lets play numbers. So Im super excited and thankful for any Zelda content I can get from an actual solid creator like Mapo.
I mean... Zelda playthroughs were huge 10+ years ago. Maybe it's just saturation. Though many modern channels just play whatever's popular at the moment.

Hey man This past Monday my best friend Max who was my dog of 15 years passed away. Ocarina of Time has always been a bit of a comfort game to me - I used to visit my late Grandad and watch him play it when I was very young, and then my first game’s console I was gifted was an N64 with OoT. I love it, it teaches adventure, puzzle solving and all that but it also teaches more the further you get into the series about grief Thank you for making one of the worst weeks of my life that bit easier with this blind play through to watch that I stumbled upon. I’m excited for more Zelda content but in general mate you have a fantastic personality and inquisitive approach that will certainly work with any game. This was the best blind play through of this game that I’ve watched so against, thank you for a great time. Wish you all the success in the world
For the bunny hood, the running man has a little image of a rabbit on his shirt, if you talk to him at night he talks about an extinct species of rabbit that he wants to emulate, and I think if you talk to people in town while wearing the bunny hood someone mentions that there is a man running outside of town like a rabbit. He is very obscure though and most people don't know about him as a kid because they explore Hyrule Field before doing the dungeons but he doesn't appear until you get all three stones and by that point most people run straight to the temple of time and become an adult. By the time you go back to being a kid, you have warp songs so you don't go running around Hyrule Field to run into him accidently.
Absolutely can not wait to see Majoras mask play through. Everyone is going to be absolutely dying laughing in the first video 😂😂😂 we all know why and I’m sure others will say, but I’ll save it for then.
Not so fun fact about the Spooky Mask: if you talk to other people while wearing the mask, they'll ask you "why are you wearing that?" seeming very shocked. If you talk to the professor in Lake Hylia while wearing it, he'll tell you that the mask was made of wood from a coffin. With that knowledge, remember you sold this mask to that kid, who is blissfully unaware.
I can't wait for you to play Majora's Mask. That game was my number 1 favorite game for most of my life, only finally barely edged out by Outer Wilds + Echoes of the Eye. Every year for 20 years straight I would learn some small secret in it, and it's one of those games that I only grew to appreciate the themes and writing of more as I got older. I think it's right up your alley.

The final great fairy that you didn't get is in the area outside the Spirit Temple. Basically its an invulnerability spell that lasts for a minute (although Gannon can still harm you at reduced rates). You can't use any other magic while it's active though.
Yeah I'd loved if he found the remaining bottle and Nayru's Love before finishing this run. At least a 100% item completion. And those items are fairly easy to get. But it was still the best blind OoT run I've seen so far. Mapo is built different.
Nayrus love is broken but I wish using it didn’t block you from using anything else magical. I really wanted to use it against Ganon but then I realized I couldn’t shoot him with the light arrows. A great spell for field enemies but unfortunately useless against most bosses
Allright! After randomly stumbling across your channel via the first episode of your Majora's Mask playthrough and absolutely loving it, I have now completed your OoT series! I gotta say, this was an absolute great experience to watch. In fact, it has been such a pleasure that I've even binged some of it for many, many hours. As of writing this, the 2nd episode of your Majora's Mask playthrough is now out, and I can't wait to watch it! You have taken me on a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this, from happy to sad, stressed to relaxed, infuriated to pleased and vice versa - the list goes on! I've burst out laughing at some of the jokes, and shed actual tears during some emotional parts. And I want to thank you for that. All of it. This has been a real pleasure to have witnessed and I hope you will enjoy the rest of the games as much as I have enjoyed watching this. Thank you Mapo :)
8:00 Well it IS a draw distance thing really. The game tries to hide NPCs popping in most of the time. Like the kokiri fade-in like magic then you're close; the Gorons became real then sit up then you're close & Zora appear in the water then you're close. Also Castle town uses a prerendered background to free up memory to have a bunch of people around.
Everything you've discussed the first 15 or so minutes can be said about pretty much every zelda game. They are often fundamentally different but keep core elements that you've learned so far. Everytime you get thrown into a new world with new (and raley old) characters, new gameplay mechanics or a fresh spin on old ones. There is something for everyone in all of those titles. I hope you'll get around to play the majority of it over time since every game is a magical experience.
Ocarina Of Time has some of my favorite NPCs. Their designs are all quite different! Can't wait to see you play Majora's Mask! Majora's Mask is is an S-Tier game!
Its awesome that you came back to put some polish on this series 👍. A fun little piece of Trivia about the training ground, one of the gossip stones will tell you: "They say that the treasure you can earn in the Gerudo's Training Ground is not as great as you would expect, given its difficulty". But, it is of course more the feather in your cap that you completed it, rather than the utility of the ice arrow.
I wanted to say thanks for playing and appreciating one of the formative games of my childhood. 🙂 Without playing this game as a child, the course of my life would probably have been very different.
Another Ocarina of Time episode really surprised me, I didn’t think we’d get any more, but I’m certainly not complaining! This was - as always - very fun to watch. Nice job with it all! I have only ever done a full 100 Golden Skulltulas once, though I’ve used a Skulltula Token replicating glitch on a few playthroughs to get them all, I recall. 😅 The mask quests are nice to complete, and the Gossip Stones do give interesting tidbits of lore here and there. I can’t wait for Majora’s Mask! So excited to see it from a new and unspoiled perspective! Actually, I can’t wait for you to play ALL of the 3D Zeldas eventually! So many fantastic games await! If anyone’s unfamiliar with the Skulltula Token replication glitch, I’ll write it out here. As far as I know, it only works on the N64 versions of the game. It works like this: you find a hole in the ground with a Golden Skulltula in it. I usually go to the spot by Hyrule Castle where Talon can be found sleeping. There’s a tree there that when bombed will reveal a hole. Entering the hole will reveal a Golden Skulltula. Kill it, and retrieve the token with your boomerang. Just as the boomerang with the token is about to reach you, backflip into the beam of light to be transported topside. You’ll get the token but the spider will still be down in the hole to kill again. Repeat as many times as necessary.

I was so ready to go to majora's mask, and then saw that you had this episode too, you're too cool omg. I'm glad you went to do the few things you knew you left hanging, and got to see some more cool stuff ouo also glad you looked up who to give the bunny hood to, bc that's a super tricky one, and one you can absolutely miss if you've never seen him running in the field before. Also EXTRA pumped to watch MM since you went OFF in the mask shop, lol, I can't wait to see you realize that you were SO on to something with the cursed masks
Majora's Mask would be a great follow-up, and then Twilight Princess is a must-play imo. TP has Ocarina of Time vibes but with its own intriguing story and a slightly more modern coat of paint.
Oh this was a lovely surprise. It's great to see you enjoy it so much. And it's great you can overlook some of the technical issues and oddities that a game from 1998 would have.

Since it seems like your Ocarina of Time playthrough is officially wrapped up, I'd love to point you in the direction of one of my favorite meme videos: the Zelda Can Can. It's the Can Can song done with sound effects from Ocarina of Time, and while the YT video is ancient and as a result the visual quality is potato, it's still fun to listen to and I think is appreciated more after playing through the game. The remaining SKulltulas can be found by using the maps. You get an icon on the map screen when there are no more left in an area. First you can do the dungeons and when those are cleared out you can use the world map and clear out all those sections one by one. Each will get an icon when no more skulltulas remain. Some of them only appear at night. It really isnt that worth it other than for completion purposes but the game does give you a means of tracking your progress by area at least. Here's a crazy secret that almost NOBODY knows. If you take a deku stick and walk slowly up to a butterfly you can get one to folow you away from the group. After a while if youre very still it can land on the stick and transform into a fairy.
Been a fun ride watching your playthrough. The algo recommended you to me in time to catch most of the videos as they came out. Subbed as well. I'm glad to hear you confirm you'll be doing Majoras Mask soon. Cant wait! I have a good feeling once you get the hang of the quirks of MM you'll enjoy it even more than Ocarina. MM will probably always be my favorite Zelda game.
Blind playthroughs are fun to watch. Sure it can get a little frustrating when we know what to do and were to go. So we need to be patient. Now you will understand why people are gonna miss that traditional Zelda formula.
I never take the Hover Boots off. It's like, if you don't wear them all the time, you'll forget you have them at all. That said, you managed without them and that's part of the beauty of Zelda.
That was fantastic. Thank you so much for starting this series. There are a lot of 3d Zeldas left, but in case you ever want to try a 2d one, while A Link to the Past is great for its historical significance, I would recommend Links Awakening. That's because you are a really story-focused player and Links Awakening is the only 2d Zelda with an unexpected, emotional story. The others are great of course, but they rarely leave the hero rescues princess trope.
Two things I want to tell you about the game since you're done with it and acepting spoilers, haha, If you want to equip the big quiver to hold more arrows do the training while riding Epona in the archery where you found your last skulltulla, way up on the right hand side, next to the Gerudo training ground, just be on your horse and speak to the Gerudo girl from your horse , it's very diffcult to score the amount of points required to get the big quiver, but on the run you'll also get a piece of heart on the first challenge when you get to score a 1000 points on the first challenge and then it goes up to score 1500 points to get the big quiver (holds 50 arrows) on the second challenge, so you better go there with a full wallet. TIP: if you don't want to lose all your money and restart collecting until you get 500 again, save the game before you start the challenge (before you speak and pay to the gerudo girl) and then just abandon the game without saving (Re-start without saving) when you're almost all out of money, so It'll load up from where you last saved which is right before you speak to the Gerudo girl.
Thank you for this amazing playthrough. I had not expected this bonus episode but after watching your dragon age playthrough I should not be surprised. I cannot wait for more Zelda content on your channel. And I am hoping you will get around to Tears of the Kingdom eventually and pick up on all the lore in that game after having done previous Zelda games.

Honestly - so glad you did this! If you ever replay this game again - you need to explore the Lost Woods a bit more - you missed a few games there as a child (I mean you attempted some of them, but didn't finish them off). As well as fish for the Legendary Hylian Loach in thr adult fishing hole. :)

Such a nice end to one of my favourite LPs I've watched in a long time for my favourite childhood game. Majora's Mask definitely ups the difficulty, but I have faith you'll get through it with the careful way you actually talk to NPCs and think about clues--always a treat to watch someone care for a game rather than just rush through it. A little sad you never beat the Running Man and got his prize though.
The second thing is... Ok, I want to make my collaboration to the game 'casuse it's killing me not to get it out of me, one other thing you've been missing out on is... bombing the floor in different spots in Hyrule field and some other locations where you stand and feel the floor kinda rumbling, when you feel that, set a bomb down where the rumbling feels stronger and a hole will open at your feet that you can enter and collect whatever prize is in there, ususally something good. This is been possible ever since you got the stone of agony (rumble pack you had to physically insert into the N64 controller for it to rumble, back then) which makes your controller rumble at certrain locations, for example when you enter Kakariko (night or day, doesn't matter) go past the tree in the middle by the right hand side of it, but not to close to the house on your right almost as if you'd draw an imaginary straight line that goes from the tree in the middle and forward, the other imaginary line goes from where the stairs that take you to the House of skulltulla begin, from there, all the way accross to the left and there's a point where the imaginary line from the tree and the stairs meet forming an imaginary area where you don't have to walk past those lines, slowly walk in that area and feel the vibration, as it gets stronger as you get closer to the point where you have to place the bomb, once you do, enter the hole that opens at your feet and you'll have to fight a couple of reddeads once inside, but you know how to freeze them (not the ice arrows) and kill'em, and as a prize a chest appears for you to collect your prize, it'll be a gold rupee worth 300 rp. another location is when you leave Kakariko, and you're back in Hyrule field, go immediately to the right, there's a tree standing alone almost in front of the little bridge that leads to the castle, set a bomb down anywhere around the tree and a new hole will open, you know what to do, another location will be on the way to Lake Hylia there is a square made by fences where you jump with epona but this time stay inside that square, this is right before you enter the pathway that leads to Lake Hylia if you're coming from Hyrule, the bomb spot is closer to the first fence by the middle, keep walking forward in a straight line but a little bit more to the left side than the right, slowly walk to sense the rumble and set a bomb down, those are just 3 examples but there are more, my suggestion is to be on foot so you can sense easier, if you're riding Epona I don't guarantee that's going to help, better be on foot, you have to explore, Hyrule is big but is not eternal.
One thing I always say about this particular game is that adults tend to really overthink things whereas typically kids won’t run into that issue 1:19:34
This was a nice surprise! I can't wait for your Majora's Mask LP. That will be amazing. Ocarina Of Time has some cool beta content that is still hidden inside the code. For example the masks were supposed to have more effects. if you wore the gerudo mask, the gerudo guard would just let you into their fortress. And if you've noticed an unreachable cave under the water in Zora's domain, that used to be an entrance to a unicorn fountain where the queen. But that might be a myth. And some time a real unfinished beta version of the game was found that had huge areas that never appear in the finished game. And check out the speedrunning scene of OOT. It's absolutely insane.

Here's me hoping you play the Recompiled Majora's Mask version instead of going mindless for a wonky version with better textures when you get to it. People really need to recommend it more. Unlocked FPS, Widescreen, use of second analog for camera control, Gyro support, etc.

You were never gonna get the 4th bottle. I feel like since this is your last episode, I can say it:
There are 10 special poes out in Hyrule Field as an adult, called big poes. You need to get on Epona and shoot them down (because they run away, that's how you can tell them apart from normal poes). Sell them to the poe collector at the castle town entry for a measly 50 rupees, but for each big poe, he will give you 100 points. When you get 1000 points, he gives you a bottle.
As for the 3rd spell, you didn't explore the area outside the spirit temple at all. There are a couple gold skulltulas at night, a heart piece on an arch that you need to use beans to get (which also means there is a dirt patch... that you walked over I swear twice), and a bombable wall that leads to a fairy fountain.
There's also a dry pond that you fill with the Song of Storms - one of the only puzzles in game you use Song of Storms on.
Also, I'd watch him trying to get the 100 Golden Skulltullas and the remaining Piece of Hearts
@@DiegoAlencar8 In my latest run of OOT (on the 3ds, master quest), even I got stuck on 19 hearts, and had to use a guide... mainly just as a check list to see which ones I missed.
Fortunately, the skulltulas are easier as the game keeps track for you when you got all the tokens from a dungeon or from an area... but the 100 token reward doesn't really do anything if you already beat the game... it can help prepare you for the final fight if you want to stock up, but...

Fun fact about the song of time blocks that not many people are aware of, which makes them make a bit more sense. You're not just randomly summoning a block, you're moving it through time. If you visit the places where you can summon or unsummon one as a child or vice versa, it'll be in the opposite state. Most people don't notice this because a lot of the areas you use it aren't even accessible as a child. Seems like a mechanic that was probably originally going to be more involved, but that they didn't really flesh out.

Tips you missed: You can charge your sword for an AOE attack by holding the Sword button until it goes from a blue glow to a gold glow. Super useful for killing those shield stealers from a distance.
You can roll immediately after the hover boots activate to increase your distance in the air. Run off edge, then, immediately roll with the hover boots and you'll go really far.
On today's episode of "New things I learned about Ocarina of time": apparently wearing the Bunny Hood prevents the Stalchildren from spawning at night.
The bunny hood makes it so that monsters don't attack you in hyrule field at night!

The ice arrows have a hidden use in the Bongo Bongo boss fight. They can be used to freeze one of Bongo Bongo's hands forcing the demon to use it's other hand to break the but while it's doing this it's eye will be open and vulnerable to an arrow.
Also a few tips when hunting Gold Skulltullas: a Skulltulla symbol will appear on the map for a location where all the gold Skulltullas have been killed.
Some holes can only be found by rolling into a tree, using the song of storms near a tree or bombing a tree or a stone circle.
The 3rd Great Fairy fountain is in an area that you didn't spend much time exploring. That's about as much info I can give without completely spoiling it.

As a big Zelda fan it’s always a shame how little screen time the series gets. Everyone plays/streams BotW and TotK but fun, thoughtful, blind playthroughs of any of the other games are few and far between. Despite, as was said, it being such an iconic and well known franchise, youd never know looking at lets play numbers. So Im super excited and thankful for any Zelda content I can get from an actual solid creator like Mapo.
I mean... Zelda playthroughs were huge 10+ years ago. Maybe it's just saturation. Though many modern channels just play whatever's popular at the moment.

No problem! Yeah both of them have a variety of wonderful content. PointCrow's blindfolded runs of the open world zelda games are a sight to see (or not see, heh). And NicoB's blind playthroughs of the Kingdom Hearts, Ace Attorney, Zero Escape, and Yakuza franchises are downright legendary.

This past Monday my best friend Max who was my dog of 15 years passed away. Ocarina of Time has always been a bit of a comfort game to me - I used to visit my late Grandad and watch him play it when I was very young, and then my first game’s console I was gifted was an N64 with OoT. I love it, it teaches adventure, puzzle solving and all that but it also teaches more the further you get into the series about grief
Thank you for making one of the worst weeks of my life that bit easier with this blind play through to watch that I stumbled upon. I’m excited for more Zelda content but in general mate you have a fantastic personality and inquisitive approach that will certainly work with any game. This was the best blind play through of this game that I’ve watched so against, thank you for a great time. Wish you all the success in the world
For the bunny hood, the running man has a little image of a rabbit on his shirt, if you talk to him at night he talks about an extinct species of rabbit that he wants to emulate, and I think if you talk to people in town while wearing the bunny hood someone mentions that there is a man running outside of town like a rabbit. He is very obscure though and most people don't know about him as a kid because they explore Hyrule Field before doing the dungeons but he doesn't appear until you get all three stones and by that point most people run straight to the temple of time and become an adult. By the time you go back to being a kid, you have warp songs so you don't go running around Hyrule Field to run into him accidently.
Absolutely can not wait to see Majoras mask play through. Everyone is going to be absolutely dying laughing in the first video 😂😂😂 we all know why and I’m sure others will say, but I’ll save it for then.
Not so fun fact about the Spooky Mask: if you talk to other people while wearing the mask, they'll ask you "why are you wearing that?" seeming very shocked. If you talk to the professor in Lake Hylia while wearing it, he'll tell you that the mask was made of wood from a coffin. With that knowledge, remember you sold this mask to that kid, who is blissfully unaware.

I can't wait for you to play Majora's Mask. That game was my number 1 favorite game for most of my life, only finally barely edged out by Outer Wilds + Echoes of the Eye. Every year for 20 years straight I would learn some small secret in it, and it's one of those games that I only grew to appreciate the themes and writing of more as I got older. I think it's right up your alley.

The final great fairy that you didn't get is in the area outside the Spirit Temple. Basically its an invulnerability spell that lasts for a minute (although Gannon can still harm you at reduced rates). You can't use any other magic while it's active though.

Yeah I'd loved if he found the remaining bottle and Nayru's Love before finishing this run. At least a 100% item completion. And those items are fairly easy to get. But it was still the best blind OoT run I've seen so far. Mapo is built different.

Nayrus love is broken but I wish using it didn’t block you from using anything else magical. I really wanted to use it against Ganon but then I realized I couldn’t shoot him with the light arrows. A great spell for field enemies but unfortunately useless against most bosses

Allright! After randomly stumbling across your channel via the first episode of your Majora's Mask playthrough and absolutely loving it, I have now completed your OoT series!
I gotta say, this was an absolute great experience to watch. In fact, it has been such a pleasure that I've even binged some of it for many, many hours. As of writing this, the 2nd episode of your Majora's Mask playthrough is now out, and I can't wait to watch it!
You have taken me on a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this, from happy to sad, stressed to relaxed, infuriated to pleased and vice versa - the list goes on! I've burst out laughing at some of the jokes, and shed actual tears during some emotional parts. And I want to thank you for that. All of it.

8:00 Well it IS a draw distance thing really. The game tries to hide NPCs popping in most of the time.
Like the kokiri fade-in like magic then you're close; the Gorons became real then sit up then you're close & Zora appear in the water then you're close. Also Castle town uses a prerendered background to free up memory to have a bunch of people around.

Everything you've discussed the first 15 or so minutes can be said about pretty much every zelda game. They are often fundamentally different but keep core elements that you've learned so far. Everytime you get thrown into a new world with new (and raley old) characters, new gameplay mechanics or a fresh spin on old ones. There is something for everyone in all of those titles. I hope you'll get around to play the majority of it over time since every game is a magical experience.
I eagerly await your future confusion in the land of Hyrule for many games to come!

A fun little piece of Trivia about the training ground, one of the gossip stones will tell you: "They say that the treasure you can earn in the Gerudo's Training Ground is not as great as you would expect, given its difficulty". But, it is of course more the feather in your cap that you completed it, rather than the utility of the ice arrow.
I wanted to say thanks for playing and appreciating one of the formative games of my childhood. 🙂 Without playing this game as a child, the course of my life would probably have been very different.

Another Ocarina of Time episode really surprised me, I didn’t think we’d get any more, but I’m certainly not complaining!
This was - as always - very fun to watch. Nice job with it all! I have only ever done a full 100 Golden Skulltulas once, though I’ve used a Skulltula Token replicating glitch on a few playthroughs to get them all, I recall. 😅
The mask quests are nice to complete, and the Gossip Stones do give interesting tidbits of lore here and there.
I can’t wait for Majora’s Mask! So excited to see it from a new and unspoiled perspective! Actually, I can’t wait for you to play ALL of the 3D Zeldas eventually! So many fantastic games await!
If anyone’s unfamiliar with the Skulltula Token replication glitch, I’ll write it out here. As far as I know, it only works on the N64 versions of the game. It works like this: you find a hole in the ground with a Golden Skulltula in it. I usually go to the spot by Hyrule Castle where Talon can be found sleeping. There’s a tree there that when bombed will reveal a hole. Entering the hole will reveal a Golden Skulltula. Kill it, and retrieve the token with your boomerang. Just as the boomerang with the token is about to reach you, backflip into the beam of light to be transported topside. You’ll get the token but the spider will still be down in the hole to kill again. Repeat as many times as necessary.
You don't bomb the tree, you play song of storms, but the glitch you explained is correct
@@Pr0phetless Ah, you’re right! I haven’t done it in somewhere between 15-20 years so my memory is hazy. 😅 Bombs are necessary for blowing up a wall inside the hole though, I believe?

Majora's Mask would be a great follow-up, and then Twilight Princess is a must-play imo. TP has Ocarina of Time vibes but with its own intriguing story and a slightly more modern coat of paint.
Oh this was a lovely surprise. It's great to see you enjoy it so much. And it's great you can overlook some of the technical issues and oddities that a game from 1998 would have.

Since it seems like your Ocarina of Time playthrough is officially wrapped up, I'd love to point you in the direction of one of my favorite meme videos: the Zelda Can Can. It's the Can Can song done with sound effects from Ocarina of Time, and while the YT video is ancient and as a result the visual quality is potato, it's still fun to listen to and I think is appreciated more after playing through the game.

Great to see another Zelda episode! Hopefully Majora’s Mask isn’t too far off :)
The remaining SKulltulas can be found by using the maps. You get an icon on the map screen when there are no more left in an area. First you can do the dungeons and when those are cleared out you can use the world map and clear out all those sections one by one. Each will get an icon when no more skulltulas remain. Some of them only appear at night. It really isnt that worth it other than for completion purposes but the game does give you a means of tracking your progress by area at least.
Here's a crazy secret that almost NOBODY knows. If you take a deku stick and walk slowly up to a butterfly you can get one to folow you away from the group. After a while if youre very still it can land on the stick and transform into a fairy.
Been a fun ride watching your playthrough. The algo recommended you to me in time to catch most of the videos as they came out. Subbed as well.

Blind playthroughs are fun to watch. Sure it can get a little frustrating when we know what to do and were to go. So we need to be patient.
Now you will understand why people are gonna miss that traditional Zelda formula.

I never take the Hover Boots off. It's like, if you don't wear them all the time, you'll forget you have them at all. That said, you managed without them and that's part of the beauty of Zelda.
That was fantastic. Thank you so much for starting this series. There are a lot of 3d Zeldas left, but in case you ever want to try a 2d one, while A Link to the Past is great for its historical significance, I would recommend Links Awakening. That's because you are a really story-focused player and Links Awakening is the only 2d Zelda with an unexpected, emotional story. The others are great of course, but they rarely leave the hero rescues princess trope.
Two things I want to tell you about the game since you're done with it and acepting spoilers, haha, If you want to equip the big quiver to hold more arrows do the training while riding Epona in the archery where you found your last skulltulla, way up on the right hand side, next to the Gerudo training ground, just be on your horse and speak to the Gerudo girl from your horse , it's very diffcult to score the amount of points required to get the big quiver, but on the run you'll also get a piece of heart on the first challenge when you get to score a 1000 points on the first challenge and then it goes up to score 1500 points to get the big quiver (holds 50 arrows) on the second challenge, so you better go there with a full wallet.
TIP: if you don't want to lose all your money and restart collecting until you get 500 again, save the game before you start the challenge (before you speak and pay to the gerudo girl) and then just abandon the game without saving (Re-start without saving) when you're almost all out of money, so It'll load up from where you last saved which is right before you speak to the Gerudo girl.
The bunny ear guy will fill up your wallet completely as far as I know

I cannot wait for more Zelda content on your channel. And I am hoping you will get around to Tears of the Kingdom eventually and pick up on all the lore in that game after having done previous Zelda games.

If you ever replay this game again - you need to explore the Lost Woods a bit more - you missed a few games there as a child (I mean you attempted some of them, but didn't finish them off). As well as fish for the Legendary Hylian Loach in thr adult fishing hole. :)

Such a nice end to one of my favourite LPs I've watched in a long time for my favourite childhood game. Majora's Mask definitely ups the difficulty, but I have faith you'll get through it with the careful way you actually talk to NPCs and think about clues--always a treat to watch someone care for a game rather than just rush through it.
A little sad you never beat the Running Man and got his prize though.
The second thing is... Ok, I want to make my collaboration to the game 'casuse it's killing me not to get it out of me, one other thing you've been missing out on is... bombing the floor in different spots in Hyrule field and some other locations where you stand and feel the floor kinda rumbling, when you feel that, set a bomb down where the rumbling feels stronger and a hole will open at your feet that you can enter and collect whatever prize is in there, ususally something good. This is been possible ever since you got the stone of agony (rumble pack you had to physically insert into the N64 controller for it to rumble, back then) which makes your controller rumble at certrain locations, for example when you enter Kakariko (night or day, doesn't matter) go past the tree in the middle by the right hand side of it, but not to close to the house on your right almost as if you'd draw an imaginary straight line that goes from the tree in the middle and forward, the other imaginary line goes from where the stairs that take you to the House of skulltulla begin, from there, all the way accross to the left and there's a point where the imaginary line from the tree and the stairs meet forming an imaginary area where you don't have to walk past those lines, slowly walk in that area and feel the vibration, as it gets stronger as you get closer to the point where you have to place the bomb, once you do, enter the hole that opens at your feet and you'll have to fight a couple of reddeads once inside, but you know how to freeze them (not the ice arrows) and kill'em, and as a prize a chest appears for you to collect your prize, it'll be a gold rupee worth 300 rp. another location is when you leave Kakariko, and you're back in Hyrule field, go immediately to the right, there's a tree standing alone almost in front of the little bridge that leads to the castle, set a bomb down anywhere around the tree and a new hole will open, you know what to do, another location will be on the way to Lake Hylia there is a square made by fences where you jump with epona but this time stay inside that square, this is right before you enter the pathway that leads to Lake Hylia if you're coming from Hyrule, the bomb spot is closer to the first fence by the middle, keep walking forward in a straight line but a little bit more to the left side than the right, slowly walk to sense the rumble and set a bomb down, those are just 3 examples but there are more, my suggestion is to be on foot so you can sense easier, if you're riding Epona I don't guarantee that's going to help, better be on foot, you have to explore, Hyrule is big but is not eternal.
One thing I always say about this particular game is that adults tend to really overthink things whereas typically kids won’t run into that issue 1:19:34

Ocarina Of Time has some cool beta content that is still hidden inside the code. For example the masks were supposed to have more effects. if you wore the gerudo mask, the gerudo guard would just let you into their fortress. And if you've noticed an unreachable cave under the water in Zora's domain, that used to be an entrance to a unicorn fountain where the queen. But that might be a myth. And some time a real unfinished beta version of the game was found that had huge areas that never appear in the finished game. And check out the speedrunning scene of OOT. It's absolutely insane.
