  • We love the original book, “Go Away, Big Green Monster,” which we shared this morning with the group. In “Nighty Night, Little Green Monster,” children are invited to help this cute baby monster settle in for bedtime. In both books, children practice sequencing as the face is built piece by piece, and then taken apart piece by piece. Children are empowered as they tell the scary monster to “Go Away,” as well as when playing caregiver to a sweet baby monster. This is another great book to invite your child to read to you after the first read-through!
