I ate at this location a few years ago, and purchased a "kids meal" which included a toy figure of Jollibee doing his impersination of the Statue of Liberty. I now proudly have that displayed on my desk at work.
My kids liked Jollibee when we lived in San Diego. It's so interesting and I found the food to be tasty. I'm always open to trying new things and you can't not love that mascot. I'm glad to see they're still going strong in CA.
Sounds like fun and yummy, but must say Dylan wins for his mascot voice and overall for being such a great sport being hijacked from his intended hot dog 😎

When I visited the Philippines a few years ago, I saw an intersection with 5 Jollibees and lines going out the door for all of them. At least it felt like that.
As soon as you took of the lid of the spaghetti I thought Big Bang Theory, Sheldons favorite is with hotdogs. I’m in Bakersfield Jollibee is is not here now I have to watch for this place every where I go. Love watching you eat food for some reason, thanks Adam your awesome!
We've just started to have jollibees in the UK. We actually went for the first time the other day ! It was amazing. We loved the chicken joy ( it definitely lived up to its name lol) it took 2 hours each way to get to but was worth it 😁 there's nowhere like it in the UK where you can get a bowl of spaghetti go with a burger and chips. You have alot more on your menu over in the US though.
The Popeye's locations in southern California are getting worse and worse. Maybe with a little effort, Jollibee could have them beat. I'd prefer it if they pushed them to step up their game, though.

This is the first Jollibee I ever went to. I was watching Parts Unknown and it was an episode in Los Angeles and I learned about the Aloha burger and Halo Halo.
I have to be honest I’ve been laughing through this whole video, my stomach hurts so bad. First Dylan‘s voice hilarious. Then watching you eat the spaghetti, while looking out the window for the person to Pass by. I had to stop writing because I started laughing again. Great video brother.

You guys are so fun together. Jollibee will always be comfort food for me. Careful with those mango pies though, they can be hot lava sometimes when you eat them right away. The gravy can be used for the chicken and/or rice.
They have an ice cream sundae and you can spoon it on the pies. You can ask for suggestions from the staff on what to get. Some people dip their French fries in the ice cream or the gravy.

The Halo Halo looks interesting. Anthony Bourdain had it in the first season of parts unknown. It's a perfect mix of all the cultural influences on the Phillipines.

Ate at JolliBee in the Philippines when I visited there. Great to see them here, they opened one in Chandler, Arizona about a year or so ago. The Bee's name is JolliBee. It's different, but I liked it. Good food. HotDog Spaghetti is HUGE in the P.I.

Actually, it’s supposed to be placed over white rice. So you have the chicken, with rice over gravy (Chicken Joy). Filipino Spaghetti is sweet from using Banana Sauce/Ketchup. It’s a staple at kids parties, that’s why it has hot dogs and it’s sweet. Just like mama used to make! They do have another pie, but it’s seasonal, called UBE. It’s like a taro, which is like sweet potato. Jollibee also has a gang of other mascots, similar to Ronald McDonald with his crew. Jollibee was originally created in the Philippines because there was no McDonald’s at the time.

Fun fact … Jollibee acquired Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf a few years ago. Also, I usually get a side of rice with the chicken & put some gravy on top of the rice. 😊
You can try pairing a warm peach mango pie with a vanilla ice cream, it’s pretty good…aside from peach mango pie, we also have buko(coconut) pie, choco mallow pie, and ube(purple yam) cheese combo pie, that depends on the season and also tuna pie It is pretty standard for filipino spaghetti to be sweet and have hotdogs in it…the most common ingredient is hotdog, cheese, spaghetti sauce, and banana ketchup. Others versions depending on filipino household, some use condensed milk or sugar and even add ham and carrots.

In Filipino culture, fried chicken is normally served with rice and a side of gravy. The gravy is for both the rice and chicken, it's awesome.

I think Jollibee botched the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf acquisition. All of the Coffee Bean stores here in the SF Bay Area seem to have disappeared.
Sad to hear some Coffee Bean stores closed. I believe they closed some Smashburger locations when Jollibee bought that company too.
