My fight isn't against human flesh and blood: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12.
The hardest battle we will ever fight is the battle against self. You can’t see this unless the Lord grants you this knowledge. Took me forever to realize this. But once I did understand it, things changed a lot for me and the way I treated others. Etc…… Christ was and is selfless, and He wants us to be like Him. There’s more happiness, joy and peace in being selfless. Misery takes a hike. Think about it. We are our own worst enemy. And the battles against self is what we need to ask the Lord for help with because we cannot do it ourselves. We do battle against the evil of demons; I’m not saying we don’t. But our lives are bettered when we surrender ourselves and selfishness to God. Your life will change again when you start practicing this. Hope you can see this and it helps you. 😊
