There's just something terrifying about a grown man going ham in a Robin costume
PandaRedd did a really funmy skit about it.

Young man Jasons like 19 here and Tim is like 14 or 15
It’s terrifying seeing anyone in a Robin costume.
Bro If Robin was real there would be so much controversy cause he got shot in the face and chest on his first mission and because " EVERYONE FUCKING SAW HIM IN THE SHADOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
99% of this fight felt like a dream sequence. You get those vibes after Red Hood rips off his outfit and essentially ‘transforms’ into the Robin he once stood as.
I thought that was clayface pretending to be jason
@@keithharrissuwignjo2460 Well just know that I wasn’t claiming anything. I only thought it felt like a dream sequence.

Jason had the balls, Tim had the brains.
Yes
I'll give Tim props for standing up to Jason.
Tim went up against and defeated The Joker alone.
Jason came off so demented in this fight
@@FernandoComicsOfficial Jason has seen the other side, and came back in a horrific and taboo fashion with the Lazarus pit, violating every natural law…yeah he’s always gonna be a broken individual. He can glue himself back together, but the cracks are still permanent and some of the pieces are missing.
I think Jason hates the idea of Robin. How could he not considering his outcome? He feels he should have been the last one because of what happened to him. They are proof that Bruce hasn’t learned his lesson and is still letting naïve kids fight a war on crime. He beats up both Tim and Damian at different point, proving that they are still flawed and can meet the same fate he did.
@@SethBrundleify Jason didn't lose for his lack of skill, he lost because he was tricked, he has several mental problems which can be exploited, but he's still a better fighter than Tim Drake
@@RomaCatholica He also lost because his own mother handed him to The Joker. And let him beat her own son to death. I don’t even think Batman knows that part of the story.
Ngl given how close this happened to Under The Red Hood (This issue was only published like a year or so later), it kind of makes sense that Jason is having sort of a, err, how do I put it... moment of psychosis? Dude only got revived very recently and is still very much dealing with what happened to him. He was neglected all his life, died, came back to life, tried to confront Batman and only succeeded in getting labeled as a criminal, tried to get revenge on the man who killed him and failed. He probably came to the Titan tower to try and find some semblance of comfort or one person who would be openly happy he was alive, only to be greeted with a hall of monuments where he was noticeably omitted. Dude just had a straight up mental breakdown and beat up a teenager and ran away. It's so sad.
It’s kind of f’d up that robin said that Jason wasn’t forgotten yet diddnt have a statue even though he was a titan it’s sad
He wasn't revived recently and I heard that they did show a statue in a previous Titans series. He actually came to the Tower to fight Tim since Jason was a flat out villain back then.
I remember reading this as a kid and being so devastated 😭 like Tim really got molly whooped with his own identity
I can’t unsee Jason as an adult Robin now. Make him go back to being Red Hood!!!!
PandaRedd did a really funmy skit about it.
"Did you really wear another Robin costume under your red hood outfit. ... Wait, did you make a new Robin costume because there's no way your giant a** fits in your old one"
"Man f*** you, I'm doing a thing"
@@WannabeWryter The only thing that made Jason's adult Ribbon slightly tolerable was the fact that the artists decided to give him pants.
There’s nothing wrong with Robin dude. Idk what has you so bothered
Tim is still the best detective and technician out of all the Batfamily. Except for Batman of course.
Hands down
Actually, Batman, as said on multiple occasions, that Tim is smarter and a better detective than him.
Tim is brain not Brawn.
Dick's a better Acrobat, morr sociable and Happier
Damian and Cassandra are better fighters (Batman is just bigger than them and also a great fighter)
Jason is better with weapons (and is more practical)
He also has the most survivability, Red Robin survived having his spleen destroyed, getting shot through the neck in Batman failsafe, survived getting shot by multiple drones in Gotham Knights rebirth and Dodged a darkside laser
@@WannabeWryter Dick is additionally the most "all -around" Bat protégé, he's the best acrobat yes, but he's also a better detective than Jason (though not as good as Tim) he's not as vicious as Damian or Jason, but he's nearly as technical as Damian without ever getting bloodlusted like Jason. And he's the most well adjusted out of all them. He's spent the most time with Bruce and knows him and his methods better than anyone.
@@clnblk7773 Absolutely yes. If you think about worst scenario cases, put them against the Justice League.
Batman detective, tech, ability, knowledge can defeat the entire Justice League. Who's really able to substitute him on that incredible task? Who's really able to become the new Batman?
There are only 2 certain answers to that:
1) Dick is the true second Batman, he is respected by the entire Justice League as a person (more than Batman) and as a hero (very skilled, on par with Batman or really close up there in the eyes of Superman and WonderWoman for example). Their respect is no mere coincidence, Dick is that good and therefore able to stand against them, like Batman could or close enough (less preparation advantage, more positioning and acrobatic evasion).
He wouldn't put himself in a spot where he'd easily lose, and his experience of all criminals and all heroes is up there, he is a legacy hero after all exactly like Superman Flash etc, he is the original Robin and is around for that long. When he was a child he fought Mongul... and the Joker.
2) Tim. Between future versions and detective skills and tech, we know he is THE prep-master capable of surpassing even Bruce on that term. He is able to create traps, situations, think outside the box etc. etc. to defeat the entire Justice League exactly or possibly better than Bruce and with less trauma in his head (which means a more clear thought process). If Batman defeats the Justice League is due to preparation-time not just the martial arts, Tim is the next Batman possibly even more than Dick, but he is not there yet while Dick already is, and both are really dangerous for ANY adversary (Tim is still growing but it's not deluding for now, he even leads the teen titans often like Cyclops leads the x-men, same cold strategies, same invincible tactics vibes).
When the Justice League wants to find Batman or defeat Batman, they did call Red Robin (Tim) in the past more often than Dick.
Now think about Jason or Cassandra vs Justice League, no, they would be defeated 100% in no time. Cassandra's martial arts or Jason's way of doing things could put some difficulty for some, but in no way they can succeed against Superman or Flash or anyone in the JL, martial arts alone and simple street-smartness or weapons or normal traps cannot go that far, you'd need the invincibility of Tim's strategies to defeat the Justice League (and he'd still need to grow and become physically stronger to do that, strength and speed are still needed), or the experience of Dick which is closer to Batman (and all-around).
Another in the bat-family that may have a chance? Imho Barbara Gordon, she is been the Oracle after all and is seen as very skilled in all the "Batman-sides". Yet she is like "eternal second" or even "eternal third" in everything, and Batman cannot be like that, he needs to be the extreme peak somewhere at least. But tech-Oracle abilities and smartness could keep the Justice League occupied for very very long.
To defeat the Justice League, to be the next Batman, you need to be better than Lex Luthor, which constantly fails to defeat the JL but it's close to win.
I can see Dick and Tim out-smarting Lex Luthor till they win, but Jason and Cassandra and Barbara? No, they won't.
It's no coincidence that of all these names Dick and Tim were able to defeat the Joker (Tim's first fight was against TwoFaces, no push-over either), while Jason and Barbara at the same age got stomped by him.
Here’s the problem with Jason, he was never going to live up to what Dick Grayson was, no one can, he was the perfect sidekick.
Dick Grayson:
MY favorite Robin, and he better be yours, too!!!!
I feel like Jason could have surpassed dick, if you look at it every robin was a step ahead of Jason when they first began dick was an acrobat, Tim was a genius when it came to detective work and Damian was trained by assassins, Jason wasn’t enrolled into a school his mom was a drugy , his dad not in his life and he lived off by stealing yet he still managed to become a robin and showed how dangerous he was as red hood
@@Insulationwezard My two cents?
Jason Todd was destined to be a failed robin due to the very nature of his being recruited at all.
he wasn't an ideal fit for robin like dick or tim were, but Batman NEEDED a robin in a hurry and he was there.
think about it: dick goes solo and gives up the robin title, moves to bludhaven and becomes nightwing. where does that leave bruce? now he has a mess to clean up. suddenly at the same time billionaire playboy bruce wayne's teenage ward goes off to "College", batman's sidekick disappears and he's running solo again? that's a problem. Bruce needed to replace robin to maintain bruce's distance from the Bat to maintain his cover. most people never get a good look at batman and robin and wouldn't notice the robin's changed as long as he still fits the base description, aside from those who work with or fight the bat regularly, like gordon, superman, selina, joker, two-face. in the original pre-crisis continuity Jason Todd is a redhead, and bruce made him use temporary hair dye to make him look like dick. this had the benefit of most people not knowing that robin had been replaced, and now batman has a black haired sidekick and Bruce has a Ginger Ward, throwing off people's suspicions. even if it was only temporary, Bruce HAD to put separation between dick's leaving town and robin's disappearance in order to cover both he and Dick's identities.
Jason wasn't ever the right one for the job, the batman needed to replace staff to maintain his facade and jason was a convenience hire. jason's death, rebirth as the red hood and criminal spree are all ripple effects of bruce's mistake with Dick and letting their relationship sour. if he hadn't left, jason would never have been brought into the fray where he wasn't meant to be in the first place. bruce was reckless by accident in bringing Dick under his wing in a rare moment of letting emotion/empathy cloud his judgment, but lucky in that it didn't turn out badly. he made that same mistake by NECESSITY with Jason, and it literally got him killed and THEN screwed him up upstairs, in that order.
@@gourdguru At the very least Jason did have the balls for the job...like the Batmobile must've been struggling to move without it's tires and having to drag Jason's titanium balls back to the Batcave.
Idk I feel tim had a better supporting role cause he literally supported Bruce out of absolute self-destruction. Yes, Dick I'd the blueprint for an ideal sidekick, but I think Tim is the one that was better for his moment. I mean he quite literally became Robin as a pseudo-charity case, and he dealed with the fucking shitfest like a champion at that, considering he was basically being a therapy substitute lol
I like it when Jason is cleaning up crime and rubbing it in Bat's face. Not when he gets all whiny and starts random fights with other members of the bat family. Here he was just some whiny punk.
Maaan I hate that part of his writing. 'baTmAN loVEs You MOre thaN ME 😢'. Sometimes they let him be such a cool character, but other times he's so annoying.
@@suplexed It makes Jason Todd seem like he never grew up and begging Bruce to love him😂😂😂🤦🤦🤦🤦
Yeah, I don't get the whole context here, but does it really look like he only picked a fight with Tim because he was jealous that he's the new Robin, yet at the same time he wants nothing to do with Bruce?
@@spicynoodles2742 no one is safe from the savagery of Jason Todd😭😭😂😂

In my memory, he never really was. He did do a few missions with them, especially when Dick and Raven were captured by the Church of Blood, but I don't think he was ever a full member.
Jason tore off the R off of Tim's costume. Such disrespect.

@@grfrog bro what Jason has that others don't is that aggression, sometimes that's all you need. Can't defend forever and sometimes the best layed out plans go to shit when someone is all over you.

Jason Todd was a little off to begin with.....the lazarus pit did not help matters at all!
Say what you will about who the best Robin is, Jason has the best story and it isn't even close.
At least they gave jason pants for his robin costume
Would’ve been cool if they met in the Arkham series
Tim said he been cleaning up Gotham "the easy way". That all Batman talkin right there.
Always believe Tim was the second best Robin (In terms of skill) but now I'm not too sure. I never knew this fight happened after he came back to life but it was exciting nonetheless.
Think of it this way tim is actually the best in terms knowledge and mental challenges out everyone out of fighting itself he is in third place but in terms of being the next batman all together he his in second place
Dick is the most skilled, then Jason, then Tim. The gap between Jason and Tim in skill isn't too big, its physicals that Jason overwhelmly takes.
@@fork6057 More like the difference in skill between Tim and Jason is plot armor. Jason supposedly trained the same way Bruce did, but he couldn't have trained with the O Sensei, and he didn't train with Lady Shiva. That is, unless they've changed things again while I wasn't looking.
@@SPDRM That's why I commented on changing it. I don't follow comics like I did in the 70s and 80s, so things sneak by me (really haven't read any DC in a while). I have heard that Todd was trained by the League, but also that he duplicated Bruce's training journey, and I couldn't tell which was pre-52, and I'm pretty sure there have been 3 more retcons since then.
2nd best in skill as Robin is Damian. Tim always had his brain help him survive every situation
So is nobody is gonna get on Jason's ass for beating up Tim because of some pent up rage issues against Bruce? Like you can debate whether or not Bruce is responsible, but Tim didn't deserve this.
Literally everybody is getting on him for this.
@@clnblk7773 most of the comments I've seen is about how Jason ripped off the R, how he humbled Tim and Damian, how great Tim is, the Robin costume or it's about Dick. Nothing about him being called out so far or at least when I made the comment.
@@draconicdemigod9696 it always seems like people stating the blatantly obvious whenever they start a sentence with "so nobody is gonna get on...." yes, Jason Todd's issues with Bruce form 90% of his characterization and motivations, he talks non-stop about it in this very scene. The reason why "nobody is getting on his ass" is because it's so obvious, would be my guess.
@@clnblk7773 ok fair. Maybe from the people who read the whole comic yeah, but I'm talking about how nobody in the comment section below is feeling bad for Tim. Not negating what you said, just saying from it's from my specific perception.
Honestly I'll agree but ONLY because Jason had shitty motivation. This should have been Jason's warning to Tim. His opportunity to tell Tim to quit while he's still alive instead of falling into the hole of death and psychosis that Jason did. But Jason just turned this into a pecker size comparison instead.
O Jason Todd usando roupa do Robin para lutar contra o Tim é muito engraçado.
"Master Bruce, the kids are fighting again sir"

It's motivated by his **admiration** for Batman .... and his approval for Tim, over

I know I'm wrong but imo, when Jason asked Tim if he was still better than him and Tim said yes, Tim was right. Tim is better than him. Maybe not better than Jason as Robin but the *current* Jason as Red Hood. Jason is too caught up in emotions, anger towards Bruce... When you're caught up like that, someone will always be better than you even if they're not strong in strength
You are right actually, Alfred himself stated that Tim is more capable than Dick and Jason as Robin
I am so confused, i know the color of their pants are different but The robin suits still looked too similar to make sense of things. I don’t *think* That’s how it’s supposed to be, but I might be wrong.

Just once I wish they would have something where all the boys are working with Batman kicking ass like together as a family.
If Jason came back and he was no longer Robin they could easily create another persona for him.
Just being a woman perhaps I don't understand men in regards to this but I've always loved the Batman family I just get the feeling it needs to be well a little more humane in a way.
I know they're superheroes and they have to work together but there's a time for family too you know
There's a webcomic about the bat family acting like a family. But it is a lot more light hearted than actual DC comics to the point fans call it out of character for the bat family.
That's what the comic Robins and Wayne Family adventures is for, there's a even a book about the celebration of Damians birthday called truth and Justice
So Jason made a whole new Robin costume, with pants, to fit his new measurements, and went back to giving his like he didn’t just strip down from the costume he was wearing over it?
