Slater... I am very disappointed. Why isn't my lord and savior Kentrell DeSean Gaulden not the best rapper in all of these years? We all know that Youngboy Never Broke Again is the best artist of all time. He has never missed and all of his records are 10s. I request you to redo this video in the future and give YB the best rapper of each year and the YB Legion will be greatly appreciated of you.

  • @thevisionaryg5070

Great video! I like how your music takes are structured. A couple of thoughts (sorry for the paragraph).....
I would consider Lauryn Hill for '98 for her Grammy achievement (and how the Grammys looked at hip hop afterwards). Nicki has a case for 2011 (Pink Friday was massive at the time, especially with Super Bass) but Drake is fine for that year AND 2012 (because of when Take Care dropped). Kendrick can then take 2013 because of when "good kid" dropped and the significance of his Control verse (brought the competitiveness back to hip hop). I get why Travis Scott was chosen for 2018, but Cardi B was very popular at that time too. Lil Baby is fine for 2020, but I feel like Meg Thee Stallion really came up that year (with Savage & WAP).

But alot of good selection and I like the love and respect you gave scarface in 91...mind playing tricks not just best song in 91 but arguably one of the ten greatest songs in history of hip hop and face had two verses on that song and face also had a phenomenal debut in late 91

also help biggie that ready to die was fall 94 as supposed to early 94 cause that album pick up alot of steam in early 95 (just a rare exception)

in 2004 I think mfdoom shoulve been at least mentioned
2011 should have gone to rocky
    2015 Kendrick or travis
    2017 Tyler
2018 drake(I prefer Travis but that year was insane for drake)
2021 should have gone to Carti I think it really solidified his career with wlr

Bro I gotta say where are Wu-Tang clan for 1993. Idk if they count because it’s a group but 36 chambers is legendary and I think they had a better year than Snoop
