Really great review, Maddie! I really enjoyed the record, too. The rawness and bits of dark militant ambience between the songs reminded me of a punky black metal equivalent to something like the debut Antichrist Siege Machine album from 2021. And those howled vocals reminded me of the German band Aaskareiea.
