Putting that on your face was very brave Some of their products are a nope But love their storage items and crafting supplies Their seasonal signs are amazing and love the beach theme $1.25 is still a bargain for so many things My solar lights still work from there and they are a few years old
If you caulk your trim and around your windows, the ants won’t be as bad. Use latex caulking inside and siliconized caulking outside. Good luck with those pesky buggers.
Those ice trays are REALLY cool! I have an ice maker now, but had to rely on ice cube trays for a LONG time. For anyone who has ice cube trays without lids, here's a trick; put the water in a measuring cup or even a regular cup, then fill the ice cube tray IN THE FREEZER with it. That way you're not moving a tray full of water around and risking to spill it. n.n
I have two of the ice cube trays purchased at DT in 2018. Those little hinges on the filler cap are very flimsy and likely will break after a few uses. I don't use them on mine; I just wanted the trays for the lids! Makes stacking the trays much easier. 👍
Going to get some, I have the ones with no lids, I use for left over tomato paste when the recipe calls for less than the small can, canned tomatoes, and eft over coffee for iced coffee.
My father was a mechanic and he used a stethoscope to listen for engine ticks that would indicate issues with pistons.... go figure. Oh... btw... HI, MATT! Another great video! I'm off to Dollar Tree to stock up!
Was going to also suggest this use. Hubby uses a stethoscope also (he's a long time shade tree mechanic who's ready to hang up his hat since all the new vehicles now require expen$ive computerized equipment).
A mechanic's stethoscope is an actual tool sold in places like Harbor Freight now. They are slightly modified and longer than a doctor's stethoscope to allow the mechanic to listen from a safe distance when working with scalding hot engines.
Hi Matt! The mirrored “coasters” are used to display small items🌸 You place your treasure on the mirror and it reflects the beauty! Always enjoy your boundless energy ~ thank you!
My local Dollar Tree has a huge wall covered in nothing but Betty Crocker utensils, and potholders/dish towels. Good snag if wanting to put together a big basket gift for a bridal shower. Goo Gone is good, but for most sticky gunk remover you can just use regular old kitchen cooking oil (canola, vegetable, etc.) Caution with those foot scrubber things, they have a weak spot right where the product narrows to form the handle and it will break right off at that spot. It is not useless, as you can still use it without the handle, it is just the point of it.
Yep, those covered ice trays with that specific design used to be Tupperware-only. Clearly their patent expired some years back, since I’ve seen the design popping up all over, including here at DT.
We had Tupperware stuff in the house growing up, but I guess my mom didn't hear about it back then, because your comment is the first I've heard of them having it and this video is the first time I've ever seen a covered ice cube tray. I was thrilled a few years ago when my sister-in-law showed me the silicone ice cube trays she had. So much better than the plastic ones I had. I've now got 4 of the 1" cube trays (15 cubes per, iirc). But covered trays, talk about genius.
I thought they would be great light weight stakes for my container garden. Three or four tied together teepee style would be sturdy enough for Bush varieties that just need a little help.
Your videos are so very helpful! Our daughter has asthma, and owning a stethoscope is a great way to know for sure if she is having an acute attack without overmedicating her. I will be running to buy them for her grandparents to keep on hand too. It will be very nice to not have to worry about loosing the only one we have now.
What a great idea! I was super-confused about the stethoscope as well, other than maybe an "upgraded" toy version for young kids. But as a grown adult whose dealt with asthma all her life, I really like this idea. Thanks for sharing!
I'm curious how reliable these stethoscopes are for checking how severe an asthma attack is, expecially for someone that's not as familiar with the level of attacks. Please tag me in your experience once you try this. My nephew has severe asthma. and I'd like to know if this iworks.
You would be MUCH better off going to a Uniform Store and purchasing a basic Stethoscope. ESPECIALLY since you have a Medical Situation in your home. Cheaper is not always Better. ~ Retired RN
Exactly. Also, an acute attack doesn’t rely on meds that ‘over-medicate’. It’s usually an albuterol inhaler. If it’s an acute attack, you wouldn’t need a stethoscope, just quick thinking
Absolutely brilliant finds! I just have to say that I am so pleased that Dollar Tree isn't just selling the same old stuff for the $1.25 price increase -- they have really gotten some fantastic new products and higher quality items so you don't mind paying $1.25! Now...I have to rewatch your video so I can make a list of all the awesome items I want to go pick up! Thanks, Matt! 😀😊
Matt, thanks for showing those silicone makeup blenders. I’m going to stop at my local Dollar Tree today and hopefully get a few for both my daughters. I appreciate all your hard work as always your video was not only informative but entertaining. The “ roach prison” had me cracking up.
I have used the Dollar Tree washer fluid! It works fairly well but per personal experience, I do NOT recommend using them in the winter time, especially if your location have freezing temperatures. Mine ended up freezing in the winter so please be sure to get an anti-freeze washer fluid to avoid any potential damages to your car.
Good to know you liked them otherwise. I bought a cheaper brand at the drugstore in a pinch a few years ago, and it stripped the black paint off my wipers!! It left them shiny metal which wasn’t very good in the sun!
I LOVE the story about Mara feeding the ants!! That is the cutest story I’ve heard in a while!!! Give her a big smooch for being so sweet and kind!! 🐜🐜🐜
So those mirror tiles (aka charger plates) that you found in the crafting area are actually intended to be used with candles! Helps protect delicate surfaces from wax and reflects the light 360’ to enhance the ambiance/glow. I mean- I suppose they could also be used for coasters, but you’re definitely on the right track thinking they’d always be dirty!
Hey Matt, thanks for another great video! You talked about the flag and all red, white and blue stuff for the 4th of July. I put all my stuff up for Memorial Day, the 4th of course, Labor Day, Flag Day and Veterans Day!!! You get alot more use out of them than you think!
I can't use the windshield washer at DT because it is only good for 32 degrees and above. I live in Wisconsin where it can get below 32 in fall, winter and spring and if you don't empty out your summer fluid in time, it will freeze in the reservoir/and or on windshield in the fall.
The goo gone is amazing too I have used this for years. and I saw you by The Bleach tablets, they are also amazing. I pop one into the dishwasher when doing the dishes just for added protection. I love them and they clean the dishwasher while they disinfect your dishes... You have found some great deals here Matt. I love all of them...
Hi Matt! I use the windshield wiper fluid a lot because my car lives outside and I definitely recommend it. I use the garden clips for all sorts of things from clipping tarps over my plants and my bunny, keeping small branches out of the way or vines onto a trellis and clipping my shower curtain away from the tub to keep it from getting moldy. 🥰
Great video Matt. I always thought that the mirrors were for candles, at least that is what I use them for. I need the age defying lotion in gallon size.
Hi Matt!👋🏽 I absolutely love your videos. The Softsoap Hand Soap Refill also in Gently Coconut. Two other finds at Dollar Tree as the 32 oz. bottles of Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner and the 6 pack case of Evian Cucumber Mint Sparkling Water both for $1.25. Thanks so much for for all you do!
Those ice packs with the large CONVEX surface worked for hot flashes at night.🥵 Wrapped in a hand towel to protect my skin, it can comfortably sit close to the brachial artery and bring some temporary relief. 💙❄😌
I love your video eos. I love when you tell us where in a store we can find things. Makes life easier, which is the point of all your videos! You're very kind. ♥️
I found something else really cool at the dollar tree the other day! I found out that the dollar tree sells glass pens! For $1.25 you can get a glass pen and a small bottle of ink. I tried the pen out, and it works well too. It’s maybe not a “must have” for everyone, but for the price it’s a great value for anyone who enjoys writing.
Thanks Matt. We had one of the car shades last for about 2 years using it daily, the skewers work well for crafts and in the garden for a variety of applications. We are not fans of the not-sponge sponges because they do not hold water well. The sugar & parmesan cheese dispensers are great to throw in a picnic basket, just be sure to cover the opening with plastic wrap and screw on the lid before travelling to prevent spills.
The mosquitoe coils work great! There is a coil holder that isn't sold at DT. But if or when you go to a hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes) you will see the coil holders to use to if concerned about someone or things burning due to the end of the coil. But I buy these and stock up for the skeeter season.
Thanks for always sharing your great Dollar Tree finds! It’s actually a 6-pack of toothbrushes in the holder (8 pieces including the holder) sneaky wording!😉 I only noticed because I bought them awhile ago. The toothbrushes don’t hold up well after multiple uses, but work great for one time use if you have an overnight guest who needs one!
Matt - I don’t like the DT sun shields for their flimsiness either but the ones I got came with suction cups that do help with other sun shields I custom made for my minivan. It was worth those alone. Sadly, I’ve used one of these (because they are like thin blankets) for covering a sweet fur baby that was no longer thriving on the side of the road. It’s not a pleasant thought, but I do carry these for those occasions.
Hey Matt those mason jars are a good price if you only want a couple of them. But most big box stores sell them by the dozen and they work out much cheaper that way.
They are strictly DECORATIVE or for drinking COLD beverages from. They are not meant for canning - either water bath and certainly not pressure canning. Although, you could probably use them for storing dehydrated foods.
Do not can dollar tree jars. Only for decorating and crafting. Mason or Ball jars are the best, in my opinion, and You can often buy them in bulk for less than 1.25. I really appreciate these videos, but would like folks to be careful about describing some of these products as “quality” without testing them or in this case using them for their advertised use.
My husband used a stethoscope to find a water leak between our pond and the water gauge. We knew there was a leak but didn't want to dig up too much of our stone to find it, so this was the perfect way to hone in on a specific area to fix the problem!
The garden gloves are a real D E A L !!! Love them they last longer than other gloves...I'm still testing one pair doing firewood and gardening. They fit a large hand fine...I have big hands. Went back for more pairs. Going back again for more extras and some to share. Also the fly strips.
Ok, the basket with the handle we love. I have deep draws in my cabinets, I have the handle hang out to keep it from sliding. It's where we keep kids snacks. I love that skinny flashlight 🔦
The clear travel bags are good for those going to concerts and some sporting events. Some venues require the bag is clear. Some people end up having to buy a bag from the stadium which cost $5-10.
Matt! I don’t know where you live, but my Dollar Tree is nothing like yours! Half the items you featured were nowhere to be found! Thank you so much for all you do! Love you too!! Blessings to you and your family! ❤️✝️
Hey Matt, love your video as always! We are big fans here. My baby daughter smiles every time we start your videos! Those ice trays with lids are also good when you want to freeze olive oil with herbs. I also love their flip flops, they don’t slip at the beach and are much more comfortable than some expensive brand ones. I got those toothbrushes but they are so hard they hurt when brushing my teeth, so maybe they would be better used for cleaning purposes. Thank you so much for all your work! 😁
I've seen people freeze eggs that way. One egg per ice cube slot. I guess if ya got eggs getting ready to go bad, maybe it's worth trying, idk. Never tried, lol
So cute! Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to comment! I have not tried to toothbrushes yet, I got them for guests, but now you have me thinking that isn't a good idea 😂
I think the patriotic decor is for Memorial Day, which happens at the end of May. It's a day to remember the people who gave their lives during their service to our country, and you'll see lots of flags and bunting around for the occasion.
Pregnant mothers buy stethoscopes so they can hear the baby's heartbeat whenever they want... They can also share the heart beat with family members like Grandpa & Grandma, since they don't normally go to the appointments... They are also good for kids who want to terrorize their sibling or the dog by playing doctor 😄
I have some of the icecube trays with lids I bought from a different store. I like them very much. It's nice to not have all you trays stuck together! I will say from my experience that it is better to fill them without the lid on. I started out filling the trays with the lids in place, but they all seemed to drip out the sides. I have since switched to putting the lids on after I fill them- no problems since. I am happy to know that DT has these as the store I found them in the first place no longer has them. We use A LOT of ice 🧊 in our house so our trays get a lot of wear and tear- I need to go stock up on these! Thanks for taking the time to share! God bless.
Thanks for the video! The ice tray with the lid is *perfect* for a smaller freezer where you have to toggle and stack items just to get a tray or two of ice going. I bought one of the stethoscopes and really just let the kids play with it and pretend to be doctors. ^_^ Those are cheaper than one you might find on Amazon.
@@sunniertimer598 They do :) Although, they are just a bit flimsy and the sound is perhaps not as intense as a "real" stethoscope. But the children get a delight out of hearing the cat purr through her belly and listening to each other's heartbeats.
The windshield washer fluid is great!!! It’s the only one I’ve been using for years, such a great find as the sell out quickly!!! I will be on the lookout for a few of the items you showcased at my DT! Thanks for another great video!
Thank you again for a great video, Matt! Caveat emptor, however, on the cereals you mentioned. For those trying to avoid wheat, the off-brands at Dollar Tree will often have wheat, whereas the name brands of the same items will not. For example, the "Honey Nut" Oatie Hoops, or whatever they may be, will sneak in some wheat instead of something like Cheerios, which will be gluten free.
I have used the Carbona Stain Wizard for years and I love it. I paid a lot more than $1.25 before. But I haven't been able to it for a long time. Glad to find it again.
I have a bunch of those baskets with handles (looks like an air fryer basket). I use them to store like items in my pantry items, cabinets items, meds, etc. They are really handy. I think they would be great for refrigerator too, but my store don't have them anymore.
The handled baskets have been out for quite a while, but they now have a larger color selection to choose from. I use them in my kitchen cabinets to store all the parts to gadgets in one place. One of them has all of my graters, another one has the blades, lids, and containers for my nutri-blender, etc.
I found you some months ago, and haven't missed one video yet. I'm supposed to be downsizing, because I will soon be moving, but you make it difficult for this shopaholic. I've seen lots of channels where people constantly just show their Dollar Tree hauls. I see no purpose to those. I appreciate the fact that you are unbiased, and test out almost everything, except the girly beauty products, and give your honest opinion. I enjoy your perky attitude and are always enjoyable to watch. I am always giving people unsolicited advice, and just today, I was telling a woman that gives out samples at Costco to watch you. She's there almost everyday, but was excited to find out that you were the guy to tell her what the best deals are. She was exciteed about getting home to start watching your videos. Next time I go into one of my many Dollar Trees, I have to ask the cashier, who is buying these stethascopes. All I can think of is they're a toy for kids to play doctor. Thank you for all your work. I'm a fan and I'l'm a forever fan..
Yes! I love their original yellow version. These multicolored ones are about an inch smaller all around. Had to buy 4 packs of the original yellow version last time I visited a DT
Matt- I think you will be impressed with the Carbona stain remover. Carbona also makes formulas for specific stain types such a grass, blood, milk, catsup, etc. All work well, but of course, cost more than the amazing Dollar Tree price. A good find.
We used a stethoscope to track a water leak in the wall. We were able to hear water dripping from a tiny leak & repaired it before lots of damage was done.
I love your videos and the Dollar Tree videos are my favorites!! Have you ever thought about doing videos with 15 things or 20? It would just be that much better!! You are really helping people save money! Thank you!
Hi Matt, I went to DT to get a basket you had previously talked about and I bought the handled basket as well as several others. Works well in the bathroom cupboard to keep hair products in one place. I don't have a DT near me but your videos motivate me to go there. Thanks, love you and love that your daughter fed the ants...yikes 😀
Oh! We love the arctic ice pain relieving gel and the coralite pain relief balm for arthritis and back pain. The balm is a perfect size for pocket or purse.
As always, Matt, a wonderful video! I am especially eager to look for the ice cube trays! These will be great for making ice cubes for iced tea or coffee!

I saw the new decor at the little Dollar Tree I visited a week ago. I'm heading to one of the large ones today!

I agree! The 25 cent increase has improved some products for sure!
Right??
The greenery and floral picks for sure! :-)

@@sandybruce9092 you & me both!!😂
Now why didn't my mom or I think of this tip. Lol
The ice cube trays would be great for an RV-no spilling while on the road!
They don't spill, but they will freeze the lid to the base unless already half frozen. We live full time in an RV and I have them.
I like to use them when I have coffee left in pot. You get ice cubes that won't water down your iced coffee.
Going to get some, I have the ones with no lids, I use for left over tomato paste when the recipe calls for less than the small can, canned tomatoes, and eft over coffee for iced coffee.
The sun visors are perfect for putting around vegetable seedlings with a grow light, perfect reflection of light back to the small plants!
'Vegetable seedlings' yeah, right.
😀😁😂🤣😃😅
That is a great tip!:)
Excellent tip! More durable than foil and reusable too!
What a brilliant tip! Thank you so much
Brilliant!
I used to keep the magnetic flash light on my front door as it was metal. It helped so much trying to get in at night.
This is a TERRIFIC idea!
🤦♂🤪OMG! Such a great Idea!!! Will Buy! Today!
3 bamboo skewers tied together at top and fanned out stuck in the ground are great for beans or cucumbers or tomatoes to grow up.

I would think a terra cotta pot would work great for holding the coils.
How thoughtful and kind hearted is Mara??!!! 💓 Thanks, Matt!
Wow good catch Suzanne! How sneaky!
I may buy this just for the holder. I’ve been looking for one for my bathroom sink area
It’s not a pleasant thought, but I do carry these for those occasions.
love Love LOVE your finds!!! Definitely stopping by the Dollar Tree after this! WHY have we NOT had NO-SPILL ice trays until NOW???
Tupperware had many years ago.
Refrigerators with ice makers eliminated need for them.
@@rebellajm These trays will be great as the kids make frozen treats for Summertime!
Hey Matt those mason jars are a good price if you only want a couple of them. But most big box stores sell them by the dozen and they work out much cheaper that way.
Dollar Tree has online deals, too! Check them out for great prices and a matching set of glasses or dishes!
Please don’t try to can in them !
They are strictly DECORATIVE or for drinking COLD beverages from. They are not meant for canning - either water bath and certainly not pressure canning. Although, you could probably use them for storing dehydrated foods.
@@redhatpat9387 doesn't dollar tree have a lead issue with their glass products as well?
Do not can dollar tree jars. Only for decorating and crafting. Mason or Ball jars are the best, in my opinion, and You can often buy them in bulk for less than 1.25. I really appreciate these videos, but would like folks to be careful about describing some of these products as “quality” without testing them or in this case using them for their advertised use.
My husband used a stethoscope to find a water leak between our pond and the water gauge. We knew there was a leak but didn't want to dig up too much of our stone to find it, so this was the perfect way to hone in on a specific area to fix the problem!
My husband used a stethoscope to locate a water leak under our bathroom floor. Our home has no basement, and is built on a concrete slab.
True. I also like them to hold sunscreen bottles.
The ice trays will be perfect for my RV Freezer
Matt! I don’t know where you live, but my Dollar Tree is nothing like yours! Half the items you featured were nowhere to be found! Thank you so much for all you do! Love you too!! Blessings to you and your family! ❤️✝️
Thank you Matt for always providing us with informative entertaining videos!
Thanks for watching Mary!!
Herb cubes is my thought too!!
I bought the 8 pack of toothbrushes for cleaning. I knew they'd be terrible for their intended use. lol
I've seen people freeze eggs that way. One egg per ice cube slot. I guess if ya got eggs getting ready to go bad, maybe it's worth trying, idk. Never tried, lol
@@Lexielouwho I have a freezer "cookbook" from the 50's and freezing eggs works. Have been doing it for years.
So cute! Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to comment! I have not tried to toothbrushes yet, I got them for guests, but now you have me thinking that isn't a good idea 😂
My Husband must have those ice cube trays with lids. How cool. Thanks for showing those. Take care.
Have a great day Jackie!
I think the patriotic decor is for Memorial Day, which happens at the end of May. It's a day to remember the people who gave their lives during their service to our country, and you'll see lots of flags and bunting around for the occasion.
Use it for both and Veteran’s Day and Flag Day! Nice it’s not just for the 4th!
I was thinking this too
No matter how depressed I maybe you always make me smile. Thank you
You're amazing Pam - keep smiling! I am here for you :)
Those long skewers are good for cutting shorter & using in craft projects. 😃
THANK YOU!
I wish I had thought about using a stethoscope when I was pregnant with all 4 of my babies!!! I’ll pass this along, thank you so much 🥰
I’ve bought windshield fluid at DT for some time now. It works the same as the stuff at Wallys which is about 3 bucks.
^_^ Those are cheaper than one you might find on Amazon.
great idea for the stethoscope!
Do they actually work?
An older mechanic knows how to use the stethoscope to help him hear and isolate engine problems
@@sunniertimer598 They do :) Although, they are just a bit flimsy and the sound is perhaps not as intense as a "real" stethoscope. But the children get a delight out of hearing the cat purr through her belly and listening to each other's heartbeats.
@@1101agaoj This is a great use as well!
Caution on cheap windshield fluid. It can clog your spray tubes and heads. It happened to me. I used RainX to unclog it. Took a couple months.
The windshield washer fluid is great!!! It’s the only one I’ve been using for years, such a great find as the sell out quickly!!! I will be on the lookout for a few of the items you showcased at my DT! Thanks for another great video!
Just got the generic wool lite (by the laundry detergent). It worked fantastic
Thank you for your comment. I'm tired of paying Top Dollar for laundry detergent for my Woolite hand washables.
Mirror coasters would be nice to put small perfume or nail bottles on
Keep up the good work! This channel never disappoints
Thanks :)
Thanks, Matt! I can always count on you to put a smile on my face and make laugh out loud with every video!
The glass coasters can be used for putting ornaments onto, i.e. glass figurines
The garden plant tags and clips are fantastic!
I thought the plant tags were genius!!
The beer glasses make great flower vases too. Perfect size!
I use the 8 pack of sponges. Works just as well as any other sponge!
Matt, the Carbona Stain wizard works well for stains😀. I have purchased it before and had great results for getting grease stains out.
Yes! Carbona is a great laundry brand!
good to know, hubby just bought me some.
I needed this today!! I love you, bye bye! But I do need these ice cube trays!
Love you too!
Ohh my …those flat flash lights awesome to have in every room, keep on fridge, on steal lamp base, washing machine, etc
Your reaction to the face serum made my day. Always enjoy your videos. Look forward to more soon.
I like all the beach decor! Looks like I'm going to dollar tree soon!
I really enjoy watching your videos, they are very informative and entertaining! Take care and stay safe!
You too Laurajo! Appreciate you
We used a stethoscope to track a water leak in the wall. We were able to hear water dripping from a tiny leak & repaired it before lots of damage was done.
Another great video! Thanks and keep up the great work saving us 💰!
Thanks for watching James!!
8:54 Those bags caught my eye to use for summer trips or in general. I like them all but the Lemon one is a standout for me.
They're really nice quality, I got the blue seashell one.
I love your videos and the Dollar Tree videos are my favorites!! Have you ever thought about doing videos with 15 things or 20? It would just be that much better!! You are really helping people save money! Thank you!
Love you Matt, thanks for always putting a smile on our faces!
Make the cubes with full strength coffee! That way they don’t dilute your ice coffee like they would if you made them with water!🥰
@@allmy4gems533 I KNOW! 😀 Isn’t that a great hack?!? These spill proof containers will make this a breeze! Enjoy!😀
The small mirror coasters are for putting under tea lights or other candles, or to set knickknacks or collectables on.
Another great video! Thanks for always keeping us entertained and informed! Great buys 👍
Gallon jug car windshield wiper fluid, use only in spring summer and fall never winter. Winter temps it could freeze and damage car wipers.
I use the magnetic flashlight and attach one to my circuit breaker box. Still going strong 3 years later. No worries about replacing batteries. LED
SO SMART BECCA!
I grin all the way through your reports.
Absolutely love your videos and do an excellent job! Your sheer enthusiasm makes me want to watch them 😁
This is a perfect example of creating your own lane. Very well done Mr
Hi Matt! Love the bins with handles. Perfect size for fridge organizing.
Your daughter is a kind host!
Thank you for the tour! You made me laugh out loud several times! Thank you for that. You are so funny along with being very informative! Great video!
