I've missed you #Megan!! I was just fixing to message Shannon to check on you!! I love all these!! Especially the Roku idea!! Genius bc the kids seem to make it vanish everytime they touch it!! Hahaha hope you're doing great!!
One of my favorite DT organizational hacks is for my purse - I bought three of their clear plastic pencil/make-up bags and divided my purse contents into those by category. Now I have just three of those bags plus my wallet and keys in my purse. Def a game changer if you're frustrated with the endless pawing to find stuff. Plus it makes switching purses a snap!
Their clear mini purses (?) they sell with handles, a zipper, and 3 compartments in the front (stocked in the laundry/clothing section at my DT) are also great to toss in any purse. I cut the handles off the top but it would do just as well to keep them too. I suppose I could’ve attached a travel sanitizer to the handle but oh well 😁
I bought a bag from "31 bags" that is a three part bag. It has a zipper on each side with the center pocket open! You just take the whole thing out when changing purses and it's perfect.
I watch a lot of dollar Tree hacks, but I really like these! They don't require many of the impossible to find things that other videos do. And I never knew what the loop fastener things did! One of my favorite dollar Tree things is the medium sized organizer things that look like a shower caddy, and I think it would be great to velcro it in place. I use it on my nightstand to hold drinks and remotes, but it will come off, so that's perfect. My other current favorite hack for flip flops and flats is to use one of the buckets or trash can and clip them with the little wire things like a clothes pin. I used to always end up with random shoes with no match to be found. They hold 7 to 10 pairs, I have 3 buckets done like this. You can actually see your. Flip flops
I’m telling you, after watching this video I went to dollar tree and got so much stuff to start storing better. I’m loving it. My drawers are way more organized and easy to find things. Thanks girl
Can I just say--wow!! We are old (77 & 75) living in apt after having several homes. We really don’t have enough storage. Your ideas from dollar tree are awesome. Wish I had known them when I was teaching school.
All of the storage tips that you invented are awesome! I have yet to see a video of spice storage that involves 20-30+ regular sized spice bottles that are both plastic and glass, 10+ small spice bottles and 10+ extra large spice bottles. Most videos are about having a few spice bottles. I would love to see one from you as I love your explanations of projects and general comments and advice. Thank you!
The adding the planter trolley to the big tubs and laundry baskets is genius!! I will definitely be using this idea for my son's toy bins. Thanks for all the great ideas, I know I will be using a lot of them from now on.
@@roxette24 Hello...they only keep these magnetic pouches in the teacher supply area. They sell rulers, posters, learning games and such. All back to school items. You’re just fun to listen to! I appreciate that you are just being real. I don’t need my organization to be Pinterest-like at all, just cheap and functional. You’re creative and fun! Keep being you :)
The over-the-door hooks you show at 0:41 is also great on the side of refrigerator. Just straighten the top of door folds and tape the extended "arms" to refrigerator top and hang hit pads, oven mitts, and BBQ spatulas/tools.
My bag is black inside and I have been known to search inside it for up to 15 minutes looking for something. And yes, it's full of trash. I clean it out but it keeps returning! 😂
@@StephBer1 😂😂😂 I have been known to frantically run around Home Goods after closing looking for my keys because I believed with all my heart I had set them down in the store somewhere. All the sweet employees wanting to go home for the night helping me retrace all my steps only to completely dump my purse out in a shopping bag to find my keys. 🤦♀️I was so humiliated because they all saw the trash I carried in my purse as I dumped it out but more so I felt like the biggest jerk for keeping the workers from getting home.
@@GlueGunsRoses You poor thing. A sad tale for all concerned. My husband calls my bag the Bermuda Triangle. Things go in my bag, never to be seen again.😂
I hit up 4 DTs today because of you 🤣 You are a GENIUS! Thank you for helping me get my life together. The book rings tip alone was worth so much! I used those plus an over-the-door hook thing to get my stupid brooms and mops OFF THE FLOOR! THANK YOU!

Girl it’s great to see you on here I as well as a lot of others have been worried about you ! I’m so happy that you’re back on here I hope you’re doing well sweetie 😊❤️
Another life changing hack I came up with when my kids were toddlers. Don’t you hate when the little ones bump the wooden shapes puzzles that come in a tray? It seems I was always the one putting the puzzles back together. Solution: put the soft side of a Velcro dot (DT brand is fine) on the bottom of each piece. Attach the scratchy side to the secured dot and remove the backing. Now put the puzzle piece back into the corresponding spot in the puzzle and push hard to secure. Repeat on all the pieces and voila! Easy enough for toddler to take the pieces out but secure enough not to dump everywhere 😁 Ps, the reason for putting the soft side of the Velcro on the puzzle piece is because the scratchy side will adhere to your carpet. Ask me how I know 😆🙋♀️
That's brilliant! and the force needed for little fingers to pull off the puzzle pieces from the velcro will help increase their fine motor muscles in their fingers, win win!!
I used to work at a special needs school and we would do this! We used Velcro for more things then you could probably imagine. I had forgotten about the puzzles though until I read your comment!! Definitely adding some to my daughters!

You know I love the Dollar Tree hacks but I was especially impressed with the information given about Home Depot and Lowe's and the wood at an extreme discount things like that are very very helpful. I wish somebody would make videos about where you can get things like the wood and so forth because most people have no way of knowing that anything like that is even available to them. Thank you so much
After losing my keys (more than once!) in stores, I started using carbiners to keep them on my purse handle several years ago. Then I started hooking the cabinet to my jeans loop when I'm not using a purse. It may look (& sound odd as I walk), but it keeps them at hand... Literally!😂
I was in a parking lot at night, searching in my black purse for keys. I'm a wheelchair and a man sweetly came up behind me and asked if he could help put my chair in the car for me. I didnt notice him and screamed when he first spoke. I was genuinely scared. He could have been a bad man. Since that day I have clipped my keys to the outside of my purse for quick and easy access.
So happy to see another video up! You by far, have some of the most ingenious ideas I've ever seen on RUclips ❤TFS...side note, I absolutely love your hair color too!

Thank you for taking the time to share them with us. I seriously need this in my life!! Hope all is well. Glad to see you again. Missed you. ❣❣❣
Wow, I go to dollar tree weekly and just didn’t clue into things I can use. The rings I need, the clips for chips, and I will have to go look again. Great job.
Those book rings have been some of my favs for years and years! They are also amazing for organizing craft items as well. I have also attached the DT suction toothbrush holders to the rear passenger windows of my car for the little ones to use as cup holders. Mine cracked as well when I removed them but for a dollar a piece who can complain. I also love using the DT garment washing bags for bath toys. I attach them with the DT metal shower curtain hooks (one on each corner). It allows all of the water to drain off of the toys and I can launder them as needed. I also keep socks without a mate in them until the mate turns up. You gave us some really amazing tips as usual. You’re a genius. Tysmfs my friend.
I watch a ton of these type of organization hack videos with dollar tree items. I can honestly say you had ideas that I had never seen before. I started counting, but lost track after 12. Amazing! I have these exact items in my house and will update my garage, pantry, laundry and medicine cabinet tomorrow. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you so much for all of these ideas! The bucket on wheels is amazing. I'm restricted on lifting and it's a big challenge to deal with things on the floor. I saw that hack and it triggered ideas of so many areas I can use this in my home. Everything from laundry to pantry to lap throws in the living room or bottom of the closet items. I can use most all of these ideas so this video is a huge win for my household and it's going to be saved at a reference for as I go through my house doing my spring cleaning. I am loving your content so much. 💞
Just Love All Your Organizational Videos Girl! I used those book rings for so many things. Will be on the lookout for those Magnetic Hooks, Napkins Rings, Plant Clips, Wall Hooks and Dish Racks for dividers. Those Metal Clips I’ve use them on my purse for my keys, for years now. 🤩🤩🤩

This is amazing I have an rv and my kids are always losing the remote so it’s an amazing idea to put a ring holder thing on there thx so much
You know I love the Dollar Tree hacks but I was especially impressed with the information given about Home Depot and Lowe's and the wood at an extreme discount things like that are very very helpful.
Love the garden glove hanger and and using the soda can holder in the pantry. Thank you.
So happy to see another video up! You by far, have some of the most ingenious ideas I've ever seen on RUclips ❤TFS...side note, I absolutely love your hair color too!

Girl, I hear ya about carrying around trash in my purse. 🤣🤣🤣 Great video! Saving this one for reference later!! You have so many great tips I can't remember them all. Thank you for taking the time to share them with us. I seriously need this in my life!! Hope all is well. Glad to see you again. Missed you. ❣❣❣
OMG! The basket and plant trolly is genius!!!👏🏽
I was so happy to see that you had a new video posted. You are so smart and creative. I would never think of some of the things you do.
Wow, I go to dollar tree weekly and just didn’t clue into things I can use. The rings I need, the clips for chips, and I will have to go look again. Great job.
Thank you Megan for another helpful video. Spring DIYs would be fun to see next! 💚
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
That’s so clever ! Buying plastic junk containers to hold plastic junk!! Wow! What great tips!
I thought I had seen all of the hacks, boy was I wrong! Great ideas!!
Loved the bins on wheels!!! I’m doing that for water bottles!!!!
Spring DIY‘s and then spring cleaning and then organizing however always good to see you
