Great TAS. This was the last in the series that I played. Wasn't really a fan of the overhead view, but generally liked it.

Contra has such an iconic sound track it really sucks that later games couldn't match the sound track from the first 3 games because this sound track isn't so good in my opinion.

I disagree. Of course I love the classics, but this and "Shattered Soldier" had awesome, very energetic music to them. It matched the action of the game, I feel.
Contra Shattered Soldier has one of the most badass music in video games ever!

Nothing says escalation like showing video footage on a screen of the heroes in the prequel busting in through a billboard with motorcycles, and then having the heroes bust in through said screen showing that video footage with fucking cyber-dinosaurs this time around -- in slo-mo.
