    Hi
..love your new bike looks great saw same 125cc in Edinburgh parked next to a Honda CB125CC R and it's a lot bigger especially in length.
Seems strange you dont have your Forza.
    I still have mine.
Im going for my mod 1 and 2 in September and I'm getting a geared bike as I really need to learn clutch and gears I'm keeping my Forza for shopping as the storage is excellent 😊
Either the Honda 125cc R or your model type.
Interested in knowing this can you compare mileage per gallon, smoothness brakes basic economy overall compared to your Forza and other 125cc you have owned ???
    Appreciated
    John L

So I've only done 200 miles so far and still running in. But inital thought is it's probably the best 125cc bike I've ever ridden. It has so much tech and super smooth. Absolute bargain, too £3999 otr atm. I will be posting a few videos after the first service at the beginning of August.

Welp, I've just found out that my 2024 Svartpilen 125 warranty is void now I have gone over the break in distance. (update in comments below, I actually didn't lose my warranty)

@@BigBoyzToyz1974 I've gone way over, I'm on 770 miles now. I planned on getting the service done over a week ago, and I should have been within the distance then, but I didn't book the service early enough, and the earliest I could make it is Saturday 31st August lol, including a 40 mile ride to the service centre.
In the manual it just says the first service is after 620 miles, I didn't read anywhere with an upper limit.
I use the bike to commute to work, and practising as I am training for my full licence. I could stop using the bike entirely now until the first service (except for getting to the service) but it wouldn't be ideal.
On the one hand I'm over the break in distance so much it probably doesn't affect the warranty now if I keep riding it. On the other hand it's probably better for the bike to wait for the service.

@Bordpie how much they charged you for first service...it's ashame you lost warranty as part of the warranty is 12 months free mobility service. If you breakdown they collect the bike and repair put you up in accommodation if away and home start..

@@BigBoyzToyz1974 I don't actually know yet if I lost the warranty or not, but I did manage to reschedule the service to this coming friday after telling them how many miles I had done already, so they seem keen to get me sorted out.
Yeah losing the mobility service and warranty would be a bummer, including for the resale value. Thinking about a bigger bike in a year when I have passed my full motorcycle licence.

@@BigBoyzToyz1974 OK, update time. I just got the bike serviced yesterday, the odometer was at 829 miles but they didn't mention anything about it. When it was done they handed me the paperwork and a little info card telling me about the Husqvarna mobility service that was valid for the next year. I have also checked my bike status on my.husqvarna-motorcycles online garage website, and it says the warranty is still valid thankfully, so all is well. I guess I assumed the worst but it turned out fine. Definitely try to get the first service done at the right mileage, but it seems it's not a disaster if you go over it, at least in my experience.
I got it serviced at Craig's Motorcycles in Dewsbury and I will say the experience was very nice. They had a free hot drinks machine while I waited the 1.5 hours for the service. They even stuck one of my front wheel weights back on for me which had fallen off in my garage somehow. It was £205 total for the service which I would say was worth it.
Now the first serice is done I am enjoying my bike more, as I'm less paranoid about overreving it. These particular 125 engines really get their power over 6000rpm, so the 7500rpm suggested limit before the first service in the manual, is a bit restrictive (if you stick to it). Now I can use the bike to its fullest, and the road ride on the way home was much more fun.
