That's actually true! I was studying in Maharashtra from playschool till 8th grade. There i always talked in hindi to my classmates. But my English is already perfect. So it doesn't mean that if we speak tamil, English will be a problem. The first language i learned to read and write was Tamil ( at the age of 2, but forgot later). When i cam to Thanjavur for 9th(matric), i was surprised that Tamil was actually banned from speaking. I felt so bad. They simply don't understand tamil need not be banned just to learn english

In my school if we speak in tamil we should arrange the benches the next day morning by coming to school early. I was caught many times for that. My classmates would put the benches messy to make my work heavy. This is the punishment in my school 😂or put 50 situps for each tamil word😂😂..
