Today, we are going to be talking about disk drives and which disk drives you want to look out for when gearing out your characters. There are certain domains that will give you much more value when grinding them out due to the amazing set pieces they may drop when it comes to the 2 piece and 4 piece effect on both sets! There are some disk drives that make it hard to work on multiple characters and some that are two restrictive! I will be pointing them all out and will put them into a tierlist in which ones are the best to farm for your main pieces and side pieces you may find along the way!

side note; anomalies get ZERO benefit from crit stats, they just cannot crit. they do however get a lot of damage from attack and PEN
Very similar to DoT units from HSR. Their DoT damage is based on a specific stat of theirs, and cannot Crit
So a good anomaly set would be 4freedom/2puffer, the 30 anomaly proficiency and buildup res shred form freedom and the 8% pen ratio from puffer would make a good base set for that type of character?
We can go with that for now... but remember Jane doe makes anomalies crit so let's see if it's in her kit or we have to build crit on our anomaly units for that to occur
@@1-hritayandebnath807 from a vid I saw, she has a base of 40% for crit and 50% cdmg for anomaly and proficiency ups the crit rate by .16% per point, so it sounds like we don't crit stats with her and just need the regular anomaly stuff.

An easy solution would be for Hoyo to switch the DEF set and Ice set and have them in their own domain so nobody farms it and the Anomaly set being together with the Crit set.
I did farm the Anomaly/Ice set domain a bit because the Anomaly set is God tier but I will never touch the Crit/Def domain because the Def set is just absolute dog (bear?) water. Thank the Lord for the Disk Tuning feature.
I got Grace as my first 5 star from standard... Anton was the first character I got to cinema 6 with while pulling on Ellen's banner, Then I lost to Rina on Ellen's banner... so since I had all the components of the Shock team, it was my first team along with that I pulled plugboo... I picked up Zhu Yuan and now I have her team also with Anby and Nicole and was lucky enough to get early Resonaboo... I was mad lucky when I did 1 random bangboo pull and got Sharkboo, and chosen the rocketboo as next bangboo, guess what the immediate next pull I got rocketboo lol... now I am pulling for Revolverboo and I would then have the most important bangboos for every element in the game... and yeah I have these two teams and building them up slowly... also I am saving my polychromes for Miyabi for whenever she drops I'm in love with her design abd loved her playstyle in past CBTs
4pc Thunder set is only really good on Anton right now. Grace should use a different set since her job is to set up a big shock for someone else, so she won't get the benefit of 4pc because you shouldn't have her on-field once you shock the enemy.
@soskumbo9248 grace doesn't mind 4 pc since her raw damage isn't terrible, and attack really helps her shock procs since it makes the shock dot ticks do more damage, and I could see it being useful for a dps Rina, but that's kinda niche.
Could you do a video on the disks you have equipped with your characters so i get the most out of these disks

Think you’re underselling the ice set for Ellen. The vast majority of her DPS comes from basic and dash attacks. Not sure I agree with anyone that says the crit set is better for her. Is it a future proof set for all ice DPS? No, but it plus the anomaly set is definitely better than B tier. Ellen havers, don’t be afraid to farm this set for her, it slaps
I thought Hormone Punk's 2piece is whats good for ATK sharing units, but its 4 piece is something you exclusively only want on your main DPS swinging unit because the 2 piece from it factors into calculations made in combat by buffs given to others. Reason for this is because you can test that putting on the 2 piece it will give you 10% more of your base ATK% gained from Character stats + Wengine. I think you may have just gotten it mixed up in which type of character the set is best for.
4 piece freedom blues and 2 piece hormone punk is what I have on my piper and it’s best setup for her that I’ve found. It’s how I’ve made mine get to 366 proficiency and 150 mastery allowing for quick and deadly assault damage
i think the ether-energy set and the impact-electro set is the most efficient to farm for any account. just because both of the sets can be used perfectly by 2 completely f2p character (nicole and anby) which everyone have and should invest in.
for ether set 4set effect, isn't it buff the c.dmg further? not corruption dmg. so total 53 c.dmg

Thanks for the breakdown. Could probably make a video stating for each character what combinations are viable and what stats to aim for ideally. Like I have Rina so I'm trying to get Pen Ratio for her support ability, and my Corin is built for crit so I try to get crit for her. Whereas I wonder if impact stats even exist for disks 4-6.... Anby just using random damage disks atm lol.
Also my characters have hit 40 and I stalled around Interknot 36ish so I was able to pump everything where I'm using battery on disk upgrade mats now.

Swing Jazz 4-piece effect states it is if the wearer launches a chain attack. Do they have to initiate the chain? Or can they be in the middle of the chain? I would equip this on a support but the stunner is the one launching the chain attack.

Can I ask for nicole, does she want 4pc energy regen 2pc AP or 4pc AP 2pc energy regen? And also, does Zhu Yuan necessary need her w engine? Or is the starlight engine good enough? not the cc but my input here is the 4pc regen set would be better for your dps if u dont have anyone else in the team already wearing it otherwise the other set is better

I made the same mistake with Ellen. I switched from 4pc polar metal 2pc woodpecker to 4pc woodpecker with 2pc pen any dps skyrocketed. It was an obvious increase
It has not made much of a difference for me or in calcs, maybe you just had bad pieces
@NARUTOnemesis think the pen was the main factor, defense is a huge dps loss I had 4 piece polar and 2 pc wood pecker and swapped to Pen 2pc, huge dps spike, and the pieces were about the same stat wise since they were unupgraded (it was the hp and Def main stat pieces so it didn't really affect dps checks)
When anyone can just make tier lists this is what we get.
