Yes, I bought the pro series (just these with Halogen instead of LED) and had to use the optional wire

Yes you have to run wire to fuse box it's not plug and play

My connectors on my 2013 3500 laramie do not resemble this at all.
I only have one plug.

You don’t, they are integrated LED chips built in.
