When you leave your network's coverage sector (or reception to your currently-connected tower grows too weak) your phone casts about for the nearest tower/access point. ANY network's tower/point. Assuming you have roaming enabled, it then hops on that network, handshakes its way in, and then uses THAT one. The other carrier notes this, records your usage, then bills your carrier at the end of the fiscal quarter for all your carrier's users that used their towers. This tends to work out, because your carrier sends a similar bill right back, and they settle up the difference (which is typically pretty close). All same-platform carriers do this. Think of it like a mesh network. Some carriers make deals with each other, others who are rivals will spat, but this is how you get coverage as comprehensive as you do. You're using ALL networks, not just your carrier's. Admittedly: you're typically lowest in priority for bandwidth when you're piggybacking. What you're doing here in this video is telling the device, "ONLY use this network." This will screw up your reception overall. So why does it seem to work? Your phone only transitions when its reception gets bad ENOUGH (say
any fixes for Freedom Mobile Connection, I get 1-2 bars in Toronto. Wheras with Virgin Mobile i get 4 bars all the time. I know that Virgin is better since its owned by Bell but Freedom Mobile shouldn't be this bad especially in the city

I cannot believe this freaking worked! I did a internet speed test before and after and then compared the screenshots from both. The download and upload speed went from 68.4 and 7.76 to 98.8 and 18.4mbps! Thank you Daniel!

Don’t use iPhone, as simple as that! I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, holding both at the same location, on the same carrier network, the iPhone always loads slower and buffers, especially when streaming hi-res media
umm why didn't you test it out? like try to load a RUclips video? If anyone still has trouble with their 5G connection let me know. I have fixed the issue.
Didn't work for me. First, I have an eSim.... and it is set to Verizon as a carrier. I don't have an 'automatic' setting..... nor do I have a 'network setting' in my iOS iPhone settings. I tried going to the 'airplane mode' and turning it on, then off again..... no difference in signal strength - at all.

You can charge however you want. Stay safe all!!!! So if you only have one sim I have one with iPhone 14pro 256gb, you just do the airplane mode part about 5 seconds and back on it will connect to best tower.

My settings under cellular does not look like his. I can’t click on any sim…. Ex, mine says turn on this line, Wi-Fi calling, call with other devices, carrier services, sim pin, delete sim. That’s all I have and none bring me to that next screen when clicked… so I have been doing the airplane trick when needed I watch payette forward or whatever they called on RUclips.

I can give you a course about celular networks and cells, and how they work! 1: You manualy select network (battery drain, when you walk around and cells change you need to select them, dooh). 2: If the phone select the one with only 2 lines of signal, that means that is the best one for the phone, and connection is the best. 3: When you manualy select network, the transceiver from your phone (the one that receive and sends data - yeah, on mobile phone voice is coded and send as data - 0 and 1) works harder, so specific absorption rate (SAR for you) is higher.

Using airplane mode just turns off data!! And then resets your connection. But it doesn't make it faster.

It worked from 2 bars to 3 bars at my location (India) but after few mins again back to 2 bars. So the fix is not permanent.. It is temporary.
