I've actually been rediscovering fragrances I hated as a kid/teenager. Because I've gotten so sick of basic,boring smells. Elizabeth Taylor was one of them I've been rediscovering. I purchased white diamonds, definitely love it more now that I'm older. But I also sprayed white diamonds on my jacket to see how it would do on clothing. I kid you not,I could smell it on my jacket for like 2 weeks. It left the most beautiful vanilla-musky-sandelwood trail behind. I couldn't stop smelling my jacket. It was heavenly

I didn't know about Onika when I first tried it. It smelled a little simple to me, but I was wrong! It is perfect on a warm day. The opening of the starfruit is a little sour/fresh and then you get some cane sugar and vanilla!
Love love! I agree with you on modern scents! They smell good at first spray and disappear 5 minutes later! Love the oldies but goodies and they are so much more affordable now!
I’m a 90’s girl too! Red Jeans reminds me of the old scented maxi-pads. I don’t know what specific note it is, but Alfred Sung’s Shi has the same note.

I wanted to have something by Elizabeth Taylor in my collection so I recently bought White Diamonds on a blind buy, and was pleasantly pleased at first sniff : First off, my grandmother wore this - I would alwyss smell this on her, and never paid attention just that she alwys smelled classy, but I recognized this scent right away. I do like the scent but it is quite “pungent” but I like it. Immnot sure where I would wear it tbh (I’ve worn ur to bed a few times) but I like it mostly bc it reminds me of her. I realize I took a gamble buying it on a blind buy, but I’m glad I did. it’s like she’s always with me now ☺️❤️ Pure by Alfred Sung I’m gonna be breaking down and trying/buying too , as well as Guess Seductive Noir femme

Yes I have a few of these hidden gems. I have to agree Rhonda Lareese convinced me too that Onika was good so I bought it and I love it. Alfred Sung Pure is so much more than I expected but Jewel is still my favorite in that line. You peaked my interest with CK Be because I love CK One & CKN2U. TFS💕
I didn't care for Versace Jeans either and it was just going to sit on my shelf until I paired it with Bath & Body Works Strawberry Soda and it smells so good. I'll wear it now.
I feel the same way about these "New" fragrances, here lately I've been back stuck on my Issey Miyake and my Alfred Sung Shi and Shi pairs well with Gingham by BBW. But I do like both the Valentino perfumes.
I enjoy your videos a lot. It’s refreshing to see affordable fragrances discussed for those of us who might not have a budget for the more expensive things. Alfred Sung Pure - this fragrance has been one of my most favorite spring/summer scents since 1997. My mom purchased it that year and wore it throughout the rest of the ‘90s and early ‘00s. So many good memories with it. I’ve worn Pure for many years, as well, and have received more compliments on it than most fragrances I’ve tried. I feel guys can equally pull this one off. It’s just a fresh, clean smell, as you have described. I also like that it’s not that known about because I don’t smell like everyone else’s choice of fragrance.

Choco Musk puts me in the mind of coco butter and Body Fantasies Vanilla lol. It’s good alone, but it’s also nice to layer with. If you want to add a more vanilla type scent to your fragrance this works well. Lasts a decent amount of time on me too. Also to me the body oil has more of that chocolate smell
I like your videos, You hold up the bottle so I can see what you are talking about. You give just enough information about each fragrance. Not too little and not too much. Great!
I love White diamonds Night 🥰 (It's nothing like the original White Diamonds) Very warm and spicy, good sillage and projection and it smells way more expensive than it is. What not to love? Actually I also like the 3 WD initial flankers: Rubies, Emeralds and Sapphires. Impressive quality: 3 beauties.
I really appreciate these kind of videos. I love to smell good but definitely on a budget. I just used up Ari by Ariana Grande and it was so good. I'm still learning what kind of perfumes I like. I'm learning that I like fruity mixed with floral and I also like gourmands. I'm gonna look these fragrances up
Me, too. I was a little alarmed that I liked Pink Sugar so well. Then I found that gourmands are a subset of Oriental (or 'exotic'). That explained it. Those base notes really work in my skin.
I love Light Blue Sun. It is very hot and humid where I live and the fresh citrus and tropical notes in Sun go perfect with this type of summer weather. It's one of my favorite Light Blue flankers and I actually prefer it to the original. I can see how Sun might come off as sort of meh if you are in a cooler climate or inside in the AC most of the day.
I feel the same way ! I wore the original light blue for decades and got tired of it, so then I came across Sun flanker and the coconut note is what attracted me. The only thing I wish is for the longevity to be better. Do you layer your Sun with anything to make it last longer?
You're the first one I heard who is not in love w Cloud. I haven't given into buying it. After buying Mon Guerlain and La Belle I realized even if everyone likes a perfume it doesn't mean I would like it too. For the D&G Sun at at first I didn't like it but I kept on wearing it and it grew on me. it's my only flanker so I can't compare w the others. I love Rumeur 2 Rose, it's so fitting for our country's weather, fresh, airy and good lasting performance on me.
Thanks for the video. I've been very curious lately about the fragrances from Lanvin, so I was glad to see one in this haul. So affordable, wish I could try them locally, because $25 here, $25 there adds up on me! Just picked up Eclat de Fleur, which smells pretty, but longevity is measured in minutes, not hours on me.
I’m with you…it’s the dry down for me. I think that’s why I could never find an Escada scent that worked for me - they start off different but seem to dry down to the exact same scent on my skin. 🤷🏾♀️. Thanks for sharing!

I love cheapies:they are for all day use.I love Red jeans,it lasts great ,better than Bright and yellow crystals.Al rehab is delicious any strong,I only have the oil.Great video like always.
I used red jeans back in high school but now smelling years later it seems really fruity . I guess my taste changed to gourmand and sweeter scents less fruity . Brings back good memories .
Ariana Grande's perfume moonlight is my absolute favorite. It's fresh, nutty, floral, woody, and powdery.. it's an absolute dream. It's classy and elegant, but soft at the same time. I haven't smelled anything like it to be honest. It seems like that would be more of your aesthetic. You should definitely try moonlight.!💙💙💙💙
Red jeans is a powerhouse! It can take you out! I like it cuz I smell a lot of violets. It's quite distinctive and with that said I think I like smelling it in the air more than I like wearing it. I wouldn't repurchase but I do have love for it😍
Yes, I feel this way too. It's probably one I may have to wear lower on my body, in small doses. After recording this video I tried it again and immediately had to take 2 Tylenols. Headache central 😫.

I love smelling good, so I can't stop wearing perfume, though 🤷🏾♀️ I just avoid the ones that trigger headaches for me. Dior has been the brand I had to mostly give up on so far.

Versace Red Jeans is one of my all time favorites. I used it in high school and even though I rarely repurchase perfumes this one is in my collection constantly. It smells really nice on me. It's been 20 years and I still have it.
I wore Alfred Sung Forever and Red Jeans as a young adult in the 90s. They are nostalgic for me because of the time in my life. I don’t think either would appeal to me at this time in my life….specifically tge Red Jeans. When I think of Red Jeans, the musk is what stands out to me…heavily! I will leave both scents behind and treasure the memories!
The Versace red jeans did not smell good to me, I gave it away! I love Versace Yellow Jeans, but it's very hard to find. So that's why I tried the Red jeans thinking it would be along the same lines. Absolutely not!!
I have the choco musk oil. I love using it to layer and sweeten up other fragrance that has a sharp note to them. I have a sample of CK Be and like it as well. Agree with the performance the first time I tested it.

I got mine on fragrancenet and I liked it for hot summer days. The longevity is not great, so I’m curious what I could layer it with to make last longer. I tried coconut scented cream and it helped. How’s the performance for you? Do you layer it with anything?
I can't really describe the scent of Red Jeans except for old fashioned. It seems like I only wear it at night when I'm having a late dinner or a movie with my guy friend. Idk It just gives "I'm not doing anything special so I'll just throw this on" kinda vibes. I doubt I'll buy it again.
I'm looking for a new tropical scent to try, So when you pulled that bottle of Tommy Bahamas ST KITS up..first thing I noticed was that gorgeous purple and gold colour of the bottle and I knew that the liquid inside had to be GOOOOOD!....then you started to described the Notes and Smell..I WAS SOLD!..PURCHASED! now I'm waiting for my bottle to arrive and wear to the beach come summer, coz where still in the middle of winter here in Australia 😆👏❤️🍹🏖️

Ok…this is just my opinion. I got Clinique’s Elixir perfume for Christmas, but when I went to Walmart today, I smelled the original Charlie and low key want to trade. That spicy, feminine scent just took me back and I couldn’t stop smiling 😊
Just got white diamond and it was a scent I remembered as a child seeing in the pharmacy in Brown's Town and wishing I could have. Then years later my best friend sister had it and I finally was able to be familiar with the scent. Always wanted to have it. I wore it today and I'm in love. Long lasting and smelled so good on me

I have the Onika,the two Ariana fragrances and Red Jeans. I like them all. Red Jeans smells a tad bit dated to me but I still wear it. I love Onika as an everyday scent.
Hi there is a perfume that i have been wearing for years, it is a Autumn and Winter scent and it is so different i have never smelt anything similar to it ever. It is called Tocade by Rochas it is very cheap and i constantly get compliments everytime i wear it. AND it is extremely extremely long lasting, I LOVE IT
You need to try L Air du Temps by Nina Ricci. It's a vintage perfume that I love but unless you can find the scents from the 80s and say early 2000s the formulation changed. I still love the scent but my husband says there is something about it that he doesn't like anymore. That really bums me. Nina Ricci

I just purchased the Guess yesterday haven’t opened it I can smell fragrance threw plastic it smells so good also bought white diamonds in July familiar scent women in both side of family wore I just blind bought 15 fragrance from Ross $369 kept in plastic containers so couldn’t see if I could smell threw wrap plastic their in but when I got home 6 of them I could smell I hope that if their projection is horrible that their at least a great skin scent like my Coty vanilla musk it’s great first few minutes but next day still on skin and shirts project sucks I’m ok with that. I came back to find this video because I just bought Guess 1981 and Guess 1981 Indigo at Winners this weekend… I had forgotten that you were talking about the Los Angeles version. Anyways, I’m not sure what I think of these yet! Indigo smells like apple pie, heavy on the cinnamon to me. But then later it wafts up with some nice musky tones. And the original 1981 is very light, clean, with a very gentle musk, its so light that it’s hard for me to smell it well. But I’m going to test them out again before I try to return them. I was looking for a second opinion but I’m not sure if you’ve tried these? 🤔
I was at world market in our place last Sunday and the young lady that was ringing me up smelled so nice. I asked her what was she wearing and she said guess Los Angeles. I liked the way it smelled on her and after watching you review I have decided to give it a try. Thanks 🙏 will order now.

Hello beautiful young lady- I thought I was drawn to the vintage scents because I’m 63…IF one can get the original formulation. I just don’t care for the new fragrances but I have a bit of a dilemma because if I order a scent I used to adore and it arrives-the formulation has been changed. So disapointing. So having that in mind I must try to like some of these newer scents. Thank you for your reviews. I trust your opinions and I just adore you. Your thoughts assist me in decision making!

Red jeans is my all time favorite I keep at least two bottles in rotation and scent stays forever.
Have yet to try White Diamonds. I have Passion bc my Grama wore it. Every now and then I wear it, helps me get through some patches.

I'm learning that I like fruity mixed with floral and I also like gourmands. I'm gonna look these fragrances up
Me, too. I was a little alarmed that I liked Pink Sugar so well.
Then I found that gourmands are a subset of Oriental (or 'exotic').
That explained it.
Those base notes really work in my skin.
I love Light Blue Sun. It is very hot and humid where I live and the fresh citrus and tropical notes in Sun go perfect with this type of summer weather. It's one of my favorite Light Blue flankers and I actually prefer it to the original. I can see how Sun might come off as sort of meh if you are in a cooler climate or inside in the AC most of the day.
I feel the same way ! I wore the original light blue for decades and got tired of it, so then I came across Sun flanker and the coconut note is what attracted me. The only thing I wish is for the longevity to be better. Do you layer your Sun with anything to make it last longer?

You're the first one I heard who is not in love w Cloud. I haven't given into buying it. After buying Mon Guerlain and La Belle I realized even if everyone likes a perfume it doesn't mean I would like it too.
For the D&G Sun at at first I didn't like it but I kept on wearing it and it grew on me. it's my only flanker so I can't compare w the others.
I love Rumeur 2 Rose, it's so fitting for our country's weather, fresh, airy and good lasting performance on me.

Thanks for the video. I've been very curious lately about the fragrances from Lanvin, so I was glad to see one in this haul. So affordable, wish I could try them locally, because $25 here, $25 there adds up on me! Just picked up Eclat de Fleur, which smells pretty, but longevity is measured in minutes, not hours on me.
I’m with you…it’s the dry down for me. I think that’s why I could never find an Escada scent that worked for me - they start off different but seem to dry down to the exact same scent on my skin. 🤷🏾♀️. Thanks for sharing!

I used red jeans back in high school but now smelling years later it seems really fruity . I guess my taste changed to gourmand and sweeter scents less fruity . Brings back good memories .
Ariana Grande's perfume moonlight is my absolute favorite. It's fresh, nutty, floral, woody, and powdery.. it's an absolute dream. It's classy and elegant, but soft at the same time. I haven't smelled anything like it to be honest. It seems like that would be more of your aesthetic. You should definitely try moonlight.!💙💙💙💙

Red jeans is a powerhouse! It can take you out! I like it cuz I smell a lot of violets. It's quite distinctive and with that said I think I like smelling it in the air more than I like wearing it. I wouldn't repurchase but I do have love for it😍
Yes, I feel this way too. It's probably one I may have to wear lower on my body, in small doses. After recording this video I tried it again and immediately had to take 2 Tylenols. Headache central 😫.
@@ShanaJ Would you consider doing a video about fragrances you've owned that gave you a headache? I'm sensitive to scents, and some will trigger an instant migraine. I love smelling good, so I can't stop wearing perfume, though 🤷🏾♀️ I just avoid the ones that trigger headaches for me. Dior has been the brand I had to mostly give up on so far.

Lol I purchased 6 bottles of perfume from Amazon in two days watching you...Girl we had to ban white diamonds and Estee Lauder's beautiful from my office on the wrong person its horrible...I had an employee bath in those two everyday my other employee was having asthma attacks weekly..
Very aldehydic perfumes so I'm not surprised. 1 -1.5 sprays and that's it! They smell better that way anyway 🤷♀️😏.

Versace Red Jeans is one of my all time favorites. I used it in high school and even though I rarely repurchase perfumes this one is in my collection constantly. It smells really nice on me. It's been 20 years and I still have it.

I wore Alfred Sung Forever and Red Jeans as a young adult in the 90s. They are nostalgic for me because of the time in my life. I don’t think either would appeal to me at this time in my life….specifically tge Red Jeans. When I think of Red Jeans, the musk is what stands out to me…heavily! I will leave both scents behind and treasure the memories!

The Versace red jeans did not smell good to me, I gave it away! I love Versace Yellow Jeans, but it's very hard to find. So that's why I tried the Red jeans thinking it would be along the same lines. Absolutely not!!

I have the choco musk oil. I love using it to layer and sweeten up other fragrance that has a sharp note to them. I have a sample of CK Be and like it as well. Agree with the performance the first time I tested it.

I got mine on fragrancenet and I liked it for hot summer days. The longevity is not great, so I’m curious what I could layer it with to make last longer. I tried coconut scented cream and it helped. How’s the performance for you? Do you layer it with anything?

I can't really describe the scent of Red Jeans except for old fashioned. It seems like I only wear it at night when I'm having a late dinner or a movie with my guy friend. Idk It just gives "I'm not doing anything special so I'll just throw this on" kinda vibes. I doubt I'll buy it again.
I'm looking for a new tropical scent to try, So when you pulled that bottle of Tommy Bahamas ST KITS up..first thing I noticed was that gorgeous purple and gold colour of the bottle and I knew that the liquid inside had to be GOOOOOD!....then you started to described the Notes and Smell..I WAS SOLD!..PURCHASED! now I'm waiting for my bottle to arrive and wear to the beach come summer, coz where still in the middle of winter here in Australia

Ok…this is just my opinion. I got Clinique’s Elixir perfume for Christmas, but when I went to Walmart today, I smelled the original Charlie and low key want to trade. That spicy, feminine scent just took me back and I couldn’t stop smiling 😊

Just got white diamond and it was a scent I remembered as a child seeing in the pharmacy in Brown's Town and wishing I could have. Then years later my best friend sister had it and I finally was able to be familiar with the scent. Always wanted to have it. I wore it today and I'm in love. Long lasting and smelled so good on me

Hi there is a perfume that i have been wearing for years, it is a Autumn and Winter scent and it is so different i have never smelt anything similar to it ever. It is called Tocade by Rochas it is very cheap and i constantly get compliments everytime i wear it. AND it is extremely extremely long lasting, I LOVE IT

You need to try L Air du Temps by Nina Ricci. It's a vintage perfume that I love but unless you can find the scents from the 80s and say early 2000s the formulation changed. I still love the scent but my husband says there is something about it that he doesn't like anymore. That really bums me.

I just purchased the Guess yesterday haven’t opened it I can smell fragrance threw plastic it smells so good also bought white diamonds in July familiar scent women in both side of family wore I just blind bought 15 fragrance from Ross $369 kept in plastic containers so couldn’t see if I could smell threw wrap plastic their in but when I got home 6 of them I could smell I hope that if their projection is horrible that their at least a great skin scent like my Coty vanilla musk it’s great first few minutes but next day still on skin and shirts project sucks I’m ok with that. I came back to find this video because I just bought Guess 1981 and Guess 1981 Indigo at Winners this weekend… I had forgotten that you were talking about the Los Angeles version. Anyways, I’m not sure what I think of these yet! Indigo smells like apple pie, heavy on the cinnamon to me. But then later it wafts up with some nice musky tones. And the original 1981 is very light, clean, with a very gentle musk, its so light that it’s hard for me to smell it well. But I’m going to test them out again before I try to return them. I was looking for a second opinion but I’m not sure if you’ve tried these? 🤔

A few years ago I used to be a huge fan of Arabic oils. Al-Rehab choco musk was one my top 10 and it lasts forever.
Rumeur 2 Rose is very sparkling, definitely more citrussy than MJ Daisy.

Hello beautiful young lady- I thought I was drawn to the vintage scents because I’m 63…IF one can get the original formulation.
I just don’t care for the new fragrances but I have a bit of a dilemma because if I order a scent I used to adore and it arrives-the formulation has been changed. So disapointing. So having that in mind I must try to like some of these newer scents.
