I bought Eternity Flame a few weeks ago at Burlington. My first reaction was what did I buy. The pink pepper almost scared me away. I gave the perfume a chance and quickly fell in love. This fragrance starts out loud, but settles down fairly quickly to a truly beautiful scent. Don’t be afraid to wear this out in public, it is really nice.
The original calyx was from prescriptives and was smelling like the opening till the end.I own and old bottle of the original unhappyly the perfume change with time (32 years 😂🤣). The opening is there but after 5 minutes it change for a sour smell that scream to old juice!Clinique bought prescriptives and change the original formula.I still like it but not as much as i use to like it😉you are right, me too it make me think to a body mist who desapear fast. I found Dot at Burlington and I was so excited! I've always loved it. Dot smells amazing on me. It's not light on me it's super sweet and floral, but body chemistry is different for everyone. I'm weird lol I hate rose scents

Ok so I am glad that I didn't pick up Dot. I've been seeing it in abundance at multiple places. I could not agree more with u regarding the Girl Wanted & your comparison to Girl of Now. Girl Wanted does smell good initially but it's a bit unremarkable & it doesn't really develop into anything more in my opinion. I layered it (not on top of one another) with Red Velvet & also with Berry Blast b/c alone it doesn't do anything for me. I may give M a try.
It’s interesting that you struggle w/ Girl of Now and Wanted Girl Azzaro because they both were created by same nose. Adrienne Ropione is one of my very favorite perfumers, but his fragrances are deep, intense, sweet, and not your usual vibe. But you like Alien now (which he also created) … so we all do change through the years. I have sooo many of his fragrances in my collection, but after having a travel atomizer of Girl of Now I’m on the fence… I enjoy the Shine more because of the bright pineapple, but he also created JLO Live with the pineapple and so I grabbed a bottle of that and I enjoy it . I used to upload covers on RUclips on a weekly basis and I struggled with noise too. My house is mostly wood, making the walls not sound proof at all and we're located right next to a highway AND an airport lol. Some weeks I just give up. But I have to find that right window of time where the noises tones down. I also used a recording app (I recorded with my mobile phone) that can filter noise. I used the Dolby On app, which not only had a noise filtering option but also you can amplify your voice, adjust the bass & treble and so forth. Hope it helps! ❤️🤗
I bought dot the big one with the butterflies on it at first I was like oh no I don’t like this I’m taking it back but then the dry down made me keep it I love it now.

Stepping out of the box I see. I tried my hands at some Middle Eastern perfumes but I can't warm up to them. But we'll see. I hope you'll recommend the ones u love. I need ideas.
Really? I have a few bottles like this where the spring has partially broken off and I understand there isn’t anything you can do to keep the top of the atomizer securely on anymore. They still spray but I have to be careful as the top is flimsy so it’s annoying. I would love to be able to fix them but if half of the spring is still in the bottle I wouldn’t think it’s possible.
I'm so glad you tried Glam Jasmine! Please try wearing this again like to an event or work environment. I also over spray when going out. I think they might have reformulated this scent as well though because it used to last forever and at some point it was discontinued for a while and then they brought it back.. either way it definitely as you described. Very classy, clean and lady like.

M by Mariah Carey had to grow on me-at first it was just too much fireside smokiness in my skin. I wore during the cooler months and got more of the marshmallow, thank goodness. I can see why people like it, but I’m glad I only have the rollerball. I love Luscious Pink by Mariah though. My cap doesn’t fit snug on mine, but the sprayer works fine. TFS

M is kind of smoky and mysterious while Luscious Pink is light and a bit airy. LP has musk, seems bubbly and light, better for spring/summer. I wore it yesterday and seems like it's becoming too light and undetectable even for me and I like lighter scents. Plus it has similar notes to some other scents I wear so I'm thinking of decluttering after this summer even though I like the scent. LP is nice, but, not a "must have" or unique scent.

I think the glam jasmine has been reformulated. I have the original which has a slightly golden hue color to it. Mine projects for hours and lasts a whole day. I get asked what I have on every time I wear it,
You look gorgeous - love your top! I really enjoyed this haul but was sad to hear that Dot didn't give you "what it was supposed to have gave" This is the first Marc Jacobs perfume I bought years ago mainly for the bottle and I'm struggle holding on to the last few sprays because I love it. The dry down on my skin gives me florals with a hint of coconut but once I use it up I won't take the chance on a repurchase unless I test it first.
im not offended. but dot is the ish to me its playful and fun. the bottle and the scent are beautiful. im 39 in July and I have had two bottles of it. there are not to many marc jacobs fragrances I don’t like
I wanted that perfume for so long and I blindly bought it expecting something great and I got something OK smelling. If you enjoy it that's ALL that matters. Hopefully I'll eat my words, like I've done with many other perfumes.
@@ShanaJ I think the Marc Jacob’s dot has also been reformulated. Including the packaging as well. The original packaging had the big obnoxious wings lol. The dot I remembered was very heavy and polarizing also and remember giving it away to a family member.
I have a huge bottle of the Jasmine given as a gift and it's full. It smelled like a Grandma perfume and I immediately never tried it again. I think I will take your advice and try and let it settle and see what happens

I bought Dot from Ross a couple months ago. I got it home and was like "no." They tried to give me a hard time returning it, but I prevailed. Not blind buying anything other perfumes from Ross since they're changing the return policy.
I'm late seeing this video smh but I just love your perfume videos and I hate when the nasal breaks or keeps falling off... so what I do is unscrew them with pliers and put it in another glass spray bottle and label them, you can get them on Amazon or target.

Gotta try this SOCAL HOLLISTER perfume. Very very very clean and fresh and smells AMAZING. I bought a dozen coz it's that good. And I am noticing more and more, we like same kind of perfume. You gotta check it out at least. You won't regret it. Or i can send you one.

Your Marc Jacobs Dot bottle almost looks like a fake. The one I have has a Marc Jacobs label sealed on the bottle. That one had nothing of the sort. I'm tripping out because stores like Burlington, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx might be selling knock off! The dot I have does not smell generic at all.
Companies sometimes revamp or make new batches of fragrances and redistribute them. Reformulatoon is a possibility but that's as far as I'll assume. Those stores are reputable and I trust that they wouldn't sell fakes or knockoffs. Generic will mean different things to different ppl. In my opinion it smells generic. If you disagree sounds like you're the one in luck right?
I was very disappointed in dot too. I genuinely like Marc Jacobs scents but it's underwhelming. I have been trying to make it work with other fragrances but we will see lol.
As soon as I smelled Wanted Girl by Azzaro it immediately reminded me of Rebl Fleur by Rihanna, notes def are not similar but that opening def gave some similarities

You look gorgeous - love your top! I really enjoyed this haul but was sad to hear that Dot didn't give you "what it was supposed to have gave" This is the first Marc Jacobs perfume I bought years ago mainly for the bottle and I'm struggle holding on to the last few sprays because I love it. The dry down on my skin gives me florals with a hint of coconut but once I use it up I won't take the chance on a repurchase unless I test it first.

im not offended. but dot is the ish to me its playful and fun. the bottle and the scent are beautiful. im 39 in July and I have had two bottles of it. there are not to many marc jacobs fragrances I don’t like
I wanted that perfume for so long and I blindly bought it expecting something great and I got something OK smelling. If you enjoy it that's ALL that matters. Hopefully I'll eat my words, like I've done with many other perfumes.
@@ShanaJ I think the Marc Jacob’s dot has also been reformulated. Including the packaging as well. The original packaging had the big obnoxious wings lol. The dot I remembered was very heavy and polarizing also and remember giving it away to a family member.

I have a huge bottle of the Jasmine given as a gift and it's full. It smelled like a Grandma perfume and I immediately never tried it again. I think I will take your advice and try and let it settle and see what happens

Vanilla bourbon is very good. I also really like whipped almond and blackberry tonic as well.
I bought Dot from Ross a couple months ago. I got it home and was like "no." They tried to give me a hard time returning it, but I prevailed. Not blind buying anything other perfumes from Ross since they're changing the return policy.
I couldn't get with azzaro wanted girl... not sure why because that opening is gorgeous! So I did de- clutter it.

I'm late seeing this video smh but I just love your perfume videos and I hate when the nasal breaks or keeps falling off... so what I do is unscrew them with pliers and put it in another glass spray bottle and label them, you can get them on Amazon or target.

I love Mariah Carey M too, but I add a single note marshmallow or gardenia perfume on top of it, depending on what scent I am trying to emphasize. Thanks for your review ❤

It was a struggle for me to find an affordable nice smelling fragrance and thanks for your videos and advice I finally bought 2 of your recommendations pure by Alfred sung and guess seductive by noir the dry down is amazing 🥰🥰🥰

Your Marc Jacobs Dot bottle almost looks like a fake. The one I have has a Marc Jacobs label sealed on the bottle. That one had nothing of the sort. I'm tripping out because stores like Burlington, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx might be selling knock off! The dot I have does not smell generic at all.
Companies sometimes revamp or make new batches of fragrances and redistribute them. Reformulatoon is a possibility but that's as far as I'll assume. Those stores are reputable and I trust that they wouldn't sell fakes or knockoffs. Generic will mean different things to different ppl. In my opinion it smells generic. If you disagree sounds like you're the one in luck right?
I was going to say that. The bottle looks nothing like the one I have. Which might explain why she is smelling an odd scent profile

Look into getting a travalo mini atomizer ... it pumps the perfume from the bottle.
I was very disappointed in dot too. I genuinely like Marc Jacobs scents but it's underwhelming. I have been trying to make it work with other fragrances but we will see lol.

I mix Azzaro Wanted Girl with Alien to sweeten it up a bit. I mainly use wanted girl as a mixer fragrance.

As soon as I smelled Wanted Girl by Azzaro it immediately reminded me of Rebl Fleur by Rihanna, notes def are not similar but that opening def gave some similarities

Ur daughter prob has the bigger bottle. The bigger bottle has lady bug on the bottle and top. And i like the dot perfume. I got mine at ross also so i have the one she has.
