I was surprised when you said you get a $3 mascara that’s better. Years ago after I had stopped using Mary Kay, I ran out of mascara. Everywhere I shopped it was just as high as Mary Kay. So I went back to ordering it from my Sister. Now I’m a consultant, so I order it from Myself.
I've used Mary Kay Skincare for 30 years and have never looked younger. I love their skincare. I have tried so many other brands and they made my face break out. I signed up as a consultant to get the products at 50% discount
I've used MK for decades and people comment on how healthy my skin looks regularly. I agree with you on some of your 'worsts' products but others have been some of my favorites. I think we have to agree that products work differently on different people.
I am a MK Consultant but I also have used the products since I was 18...I'm 50 now. Most all the products are wonderful. There are a few duds. I hated the At Play products. Got stuck with a bunch of them because no one wanted them. I generally don't buy the special trend products. I focus on the regular line skin care.
I could just look at the At Play products and know that they weren't for me or my client base. I don't think I'll ever not be an MK consultant because the regular skincare line is unmatched. The body care products are great, too.
I actually brought the travel size with me on my recent vacation and liked it a lot better. I’m using up another vitamin c serum but might give it a try again!
I actually really love all the products you mentioned, I’ve been using MK since I was 12 and I’ve tried many other brands and nothing compares in my opinion in quality and affordable price range. Btw $28 for the foaming cleanser which you only need the tiniest amount of and will last you forever is actually pretty good.
I've been a consultant and using MK for 4 years. I also started working at a beauty counter this year. So I have access to a lot of beauty brands. And most of the time I end up going back to my MK products. It's funny because most of the products you dislike are actually some of my favorites. A couple of things I like to mention, if you're going to do any Vitamin C treatment, you need to use sunscreen otherwise the product won't be efficient. And for mascara, one thing I've learned is that it's important to use the right brush for your lashes (for example if you have short lashes, don't use a big brush otherwise you end up with clumps). I personally love the chromefusion eyeshadows. I actually find they are some of the rare eyeshadows that don't leave residue on my cheeks (maybe it's just me). As for most powdered eyeshadows, I find that using an eyelid primer is best for getting an uniform application. And finally, I LOVE the creamy eyeshadows. I'm actually so upset that they are discontinued. Finally my advice for anyone using MK products, get your consultant to explain to you how to use products. That's what they're here for 😉
The whole Roc brand is so overlooked. Every product I’ve gotten from that brand has done what it claims and it’s affordable and accessible. You actually see results when majority of other products, you are buying name brand and packaging only. Not with Roc. They put all their money towards quality and technology and it definitely shows.

Of course ever brand has crap products, but I just want to ask what Mary Kay products you do really like and still use as a holy grail, if any? Also, do you like Avon products and if so, can you recommend any?
I agree. MK skincare is the best. I have used many brands and none are as good as MK. I love the chromafusion eyeshadows. Plus the MK mascara applies without clumping. Lipsticks are great.
I guess it’s a matter of opinion. I feel the complete opposite about the cream eye colors and the chromafusion shadows, they are my go to’s every day! The Pale Blush cream eye colour makes a perfect eye primer. The shadows blend beautifully together and I’ve never had trouble with creasing. That’s why they are my faves!! I also love the consistency of the luminous formulation of MK foundation. It creates a lovely, hydrated finish.
Just goes to show, what works for one person might not work for someone else. I appreciate you taking the time to provide your comments so other viewers know it worked for you. Yes I love my mk makeover over others ..and our cleanser is so good for plant stem cells and encapsulated reservatrol- ...the vitamin c serum is amazing for wrinkles
I completely disagree with everything you just said. I absolutely love💓💓💓 the Volume cleanser and Deep Wrinkle Filler. Also the Serum C.....These are my go to skin care items. They actually work. They are worth the investment. And the mascara is the BEST!!! I do agree that the eye shadow could improve, but overall am totally satisfied and LOVE MK products.

I'm sorry to hear of your experience, but to recommend not to use any product in the video is pretty harsh. We all definitely have different experiences with skincare and glamour, but I would never bash a company because of my experience. But as you stated this is just your opinion. I've had some pretty great experiences with Marykay products, especially the skincare. However, I respect your opinion and I'm definitely not trying to bash your opinion because that would not be kind. I do know the company does a product replacement if there is a product you're not satisfied with. The cream Eyeshadows in the jar has been discontinued for years and replaced with liquid Eyeshadows. My family is in the Mary kay program... So me a 17 year old use this products for my whole life... Ive used their stuff when it comes to face cleaning and makeup and my skin is so clear and smooth and moisturize
I still use a lot of products from them and I agree that they can absolutely change your skin. I still recommend some of the Mary Kay products even though I don't sell them anymore. Thank you so much for watching!
While not every MK product is for me I do like their eyshadows, I've never felt they were "chalky" & while you did call them middle school quality they are so much nicer than others I have tried. They also stay on all day.
June your commentary is solely for likes and exposure and from reading the comments people are obviously more in favor of the products so you're giving the business more exposure. Whatever company you're now trying to promote is not getting the love they deserve because you're here bashing another. 95% of the products you suggested not to buy are best sellers. The company didn't work for you, but the products are tried and true so stop it. It's looks bad on you.
I actually did a separate video on my Mk favs. These were just products that I felt weren’t worth the money. People do this all the time. Nothing shady going on here…

I love my marykay and appreciate your honesty. I personally swear by the eye shadows so I’m sad to hear your experience. The color is rich and lasts all day for me. I use the chromafusion shades not the matte ones. Big difference depending on your skin. If you have dry skin like I do the matte will not work well. The brush you use also makes a big difference and MK has some fabulous ones!
Love the shadows as well. I believe everyone has different experiences. What works for one may not for another. It's subjective. I'm a Mary Kay Consultant as well. Love the products too.
The two Timewise Repair products you mention are both fantastic. I have super dry skin and when I wash using the Repair face wash it leaves my face silky clean. The Repair deep wrinkle filler does the job of eliminating any wrinkle i have. The CC Cream makeup is terrific. It is just enough of a coverage for me that is. My face looks alive and has a brilliance to it. Only products I do not use are the eye colours, pencils, and lip glosses. Think it is a personal thing. I once used very highly expensive products at $150.00 for the face which never did a thing whatsoever. Skincare, products are my favourite.
I need to tell you you should never trash any company...one thing you did not say about the Mary Kay foaming facial is that you only need the size of a pea to clean your face and the tube lasts a very very long time...I would personally would never buy anything from you 😡
It’s not hurting Mary Kay Corp. that she has bashed their products in her videos because they will be fine. It’s the hard working Independent Consultants who are small business owners trying to sell their inventory that it will hurt. Mostly women business owners.

My consultant began selling MK after she lost her job 2 yrs ago and I have tried and tried to like the products and actually bought enough product from her in the beginning to fill 3 compacts ( so I tried ), but I just can't...The lipstick is very drying ( but love the smell )..The eyeshadow is exactly what you said...The blushes are "ok"...I did like the retinol product as a good intro to retinol, but am now using a stronger prescription strength product...All of that said, the one product I discovered and LOVE is the cream-to-powder foundation IF I could get the right shade...Which is a whole other issue...God love her, but she's not very well-schooled in makeup selection or application...So I'm flying blind trying to find the right shade, but once I do I will continue to buy and use it until such time it's discontinued or changes...Even in the wrong shade though I know I love it.

I used to sell for this cult in 2014 and stopped because I didn't want people to be uncomfortable around me, and the meetings REEKED of cult jargon. I got in an argument with corporate when the rep above me told me i had to wear skirts when I sell. I am in real estate for many years and I did this for fun, but I told her i can sell more in pants in one day that she can sell in a skirt in a year (cue my narcissistic tendencies.) Corporate told me i should wear a skirt and I advised them that it's illegal to tell sales reps what they can and cannot wear unless they're paid salary. That said, I walked. BUT. I CAN say that the Timewise line I used made me skin look so good that people actually complimented me on how I looked. People I didn't even know asked me what cosmetics I used. I also used their makeup. I'm here to see what people are saying. I went to their website and it's a disaster. All the text is overlapping. Also note, I had not used professional makeup or skin care before MK, but honestly I never heard compliments after I stopped using MK. So I'll likely go back for the hell of it and keep my professional brands as well.
I use wrinkle filler every single day on crows, feet, elevens, throat, marionette lines. So I've been very pleased. Roc made my skin like orange peel. 😳 Just me... Also clinical solutions is amazing. 😘
Ultimate Mascara is my favorite 🥰 I always got back to it and I don't know why I ever stop using it. Their shadows are amazing, they go on like butter ❤
Products work for different people wothdifferent needs that's why there's a wide range of products for different skin types. My husband loves the volifirm cleanser and I love the 3D cleansers. So it depends on your skincare needs, how you use them and your personal preference. Loved the liquidate lipcolors, still use them till date. Great to hear your own opinion and your experience.
I've been using Mary Kay for the last 7 years and My skin Is fantastic. I even have a health condition that makes my skin breakout TERRIBLY because of the hormones changes I go through and Mary Kay has been the only thing that has kept my skin how I Always want it to be. I'm sorry that you don't like the products but I feel like the people who make videos like this are trying to put the company down just because they had a bad experience. So I'm sorry for you.

I think MK may have changed their eyeshadow formulation at some point, but I remember back in the 90s y2K era I loved them so much because I had oily lids and didn't know to prime them and MK eyeshadows were pretty good about not creasing. Was it the chalkiness? Not sure - but I thought it was because they were made in Texas that their eye products were fantastic at holding up in the heat and humidity. In recent years I haven't been a huge fan or used much of the cosmetics I bought - I recently threw a bunch out that it looked like I barely touched, which is a shame because my cousin sells them and now I'm down to discontinued brow pencils. I also really loved the original Timewise set back before my rosacea started flaring up in my 30s. I'm not blaming them, -my younger sister and cousins' flared up before mine did so probably inevitable.
I went inactive and one of my customers bought Chanel mascara to replace the Lash Love MK I had been selling to her. She wanted the Chanel to work (she can afford it and likes brand names) but texted me asking me to please stock her up again on Lash Love so she doesn’t run out again.

I like Mary Kay products, and I like cosmetics and skincare from other brands too. My fave MK product is the Lash Love Mascara; it's AMAZING. I agree with you about MK's eyeshadows, I'm not a fan of their eyeshadows because I feel they don't blend as well as other brands' shadows. I wasn't very impressed with MK's Vitamin C serum either. I enjoyed watching your video.
I’ve not tried the peel yet but have it & plan to. I agree with some of what you said. And not with other things. I’ve used Mary Kay off & on for about 40 yrs. I keep coming back to Mary Kay. I love it & started selling it

I also am Mary kaye consultant.. I agree there's things you like in those things you don't like but as far as the cleanser absolutely love it I can definitely feel a difference when I don't use it or I use something else and their day and night creams are rock stars. I've used the eyeshadow before but I'm a thrive girl! Love love love love thrive eyeshadow and mascara. I don't use foundation but when I got my kit I have very white legs I tan everywhere else except for my legs and I picked a shave that my tan look like everywhere else and put it on my legs and buffed it out with a a warmly wet rung out face cloth and my dad my legs look fantastic it stays all day it does not come off on my clothes and it blends my overall skin color together I love it and I continue buying it for that! I liked your video I feel that your truthful and it was entertaining!
I love the foundations because they feel light on your skin! I LOVE the Fanarama Mascara and the Ultimate…. Some of my customers also love the mascaras because they don’t have any eye problems like they always did with the cheap mascara…
I just tried Matte & Shine lip color. I liked that it lasted a long time, it was a little dry but not unbearable. I never even tried the gloss. Now I have to try it again!
I actually like the eyeshadows and the mascaras. Alot of the products you mentioned in the other video that are favorites I either haven't tried or they just aren't meant for my skin. I use the cc cream, I prefer that texture
I love the Timewise skin cleanser line. I agree with you on the volufirm line. Also on the eyeshadow, undereye corrector and mascara. It is expensive and for that reason along with the low performance and feel of the eyeshadow, corrector and mascara I dont use any of it anymore.
Nice video! MK is hit or miss I feel as if some of their products work and some don’t. One of their products I love is the sunscreen moisturizer. However, I would have to agree with you on the cleanser. I felt as if it was very drying to the face. The lipstick has various beautiful shades but like you mentioned in the video they don’t seem to stick very well. For the rest of the makeup I feel as it’s perfect for someone who is learning and experimenting with makeup. It’s not to pricey and good enough quality. I love their concealer, blush, bronzer, and eyeshadow. Their new bronzer stick is definitely one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing!!!

Mary Kay products are way cheaper than the other makeup companies out there now. Some products might not work for you but does wonders for someone else.
I agree, all the MK products I've ever used screwed up my skin & the makeup would never stay put no matter what. I switched over to other products & my skin has been much happier ever since.

I'm not a Mary Kay consultant and could not agree or disagree with your opinions on what you feel are the worst Mary Kay products. I've used some Mary Kay products though out the years and was happy with them. I'm not sure why you felt the need to make a video on what you feel are the worst Mary kay products and why, but it's not coming off as classy. You worked as a consultant for Mary Kay and changed to Seint. No one needed an explanation . Criticizing a company you worked for on social media isn't respectable. You may make a video about why you left Seint , in the future.
lol that's how I felt when she started to name off all the products that work for me and I have the before and after pictures to show for it! I was thinking, surly she's not talking about the same stuff I use..no way..I mean I literally have so many of my friends and family hooked because they see results, not just hear me say it's great or eww it sucks like they work! The cleanser now, she should know to use something for dryness especially if she is still dry after using the repair line (added moisture) like the booster HA Ceramide, OMGOODNESS game changer coming from someone in menopause! I have extremely dry skin or I did, should I say..I couldn't use a cream to powder foundation like the one she showed, I'm just saying that dries you out if your dry but luminous is where it's at with the mk primer! I've used many and will never change especially to the "cheaper" one's that smell and have no skin attributes at all..smh why she hates these amazing products is beyond me but not for everyone I say try using them and find the right one for you. Not all mk products are for everyone but dang girl went off on the good one's I love
Maybe this is kind of a weird question, not sure if anybody has asked this or not yet. I have a very sensitive skin type and if I wear certain eyeliners or eyeshadow was I get irritated easily so I went with a organic type of mineral make up. And I was doing a lot better with those, Does Mary Kay have that line? Or is it more of like a basic make up with the ingredients in it that like universal with all make ups. Try to use less on my face, and do better that way. A friend of mine wants to sell me Mary Kay products and she’s been bugging me a lot. I asked her for the list of ingredients for a couple of things and she sent it to me. It seems just like a lot longer of a list that is in the eyelinereyeshadow than the ones that I’m using right now. What are your thoughts on this?

Just like any other brand you will have hits and misses, I love MK eyeshadow they last all day and have great pigment I never needed to dig my brush in them as you describe. 😂it’s so comical how you are so salty about this brand. Cosmetics are so fun and experimenting with them is even better! I personally hated the saint makeup or however you spell it. It melted off my skin I reside in Texas and it did not work with our hot humid weather which was such a bummer.

I wonder if the products were being used properly tbh. 🤔 I agreed on a few of the products but I do wedding makeup and other events and this makeup doesn't melt like the other brand she listed. I've seen both products on and watched cosmetologists complaine over the melting.. also people who profit from neither companies.
I actually did a separate video of the products that I really like and continue to promote MK products because I think a lot of their products really work. These are just some that didn’t work for me.
I love the Cream colors use a eye primer. Honey I Use our Matte Colors and love them and gives Nice Coverage. With My Foundation Primer. And I Get a lot of Compliments on my Makeup and they are my Best Sellers.

I purchased them from the MK inventory site so hopefully they weren’t old. Others have also mentioned they loved them so it goes to show you everyone is different! I love their liquid eyeshadows for sure though. I wish they would come out with more colors!
I completely agree with what you’ve said! I’ve been a MK consultant 5years ago and stopped because I could not recommend the make up line. Also I felt TimeWise was better before it re-formulation. I’ve done a lot of photo shoots and it was a lot of work to make the make up work… they definitely have some hits in the skin care range though :)
I believe your videos would be better received if you didn’t use words like “crap” when describing a product you aren’t fond of. Additionally, not all cosmetic products perform the same on every person. Our chemistry sometimes acclimates to products so one must continually change: Deodorants, although not a cosmetic, are a good example.

the timewise repair cleanser does NOT clean deeply enough, I have dry skin and adult acne, it did nothing for me. I do want to try the Botanicals or the Naturals line. I think the mascaras are pretty good and heard the CC cream is good..
Makeup from MK sucks 😂 low pigmentation and foundation getting darker after couple minutes on my face 😢 but lip products are great! And also i love the satin hands set and this thick cream that comes with it. ❤
Mary Kay’s product development team sucks. They NEVER come out with exciting new products everything is the same old thing in the same old shade. And their packaging is so boring and matronly. If they put more money into refreshing their products and packaging I’d be a better customer. It’s honestly such boring product and it makes it soooo easy to spend the same amount of money on dept store skin care or makeup because honestly it works better and looks cuter on my vanity
I totally agree!!! Make up is crap!!! I’ve tried almost all of it. Only thing I like is fanorama mascara, lip glosses (chocolate and tawny nude) and the At Play contour stick. Everything else is mehhhh.. I do love the time wise skin care line.
Curious your thoughts on the concealers. I know you stated you didn't like under eye concealer but I'm thinking you meant the under eye corrector. I thought the concealer was supposed to be applied over the under eye corrector. Either way I was definitely curious your feelings on the concealers if you have tried them.
Yes I meant the under eye corrector. The concealers weren't bad and I wore them off and on. My daughter actually uses them now and she really likes them. Yes, the concealers go over the under eye corrector, but I just felt the under eye corrector didn't pack enough punch to actually color correct. If you don't have a lot of dark pigment under your eyes, it might work, but mine are BAD so I didn't something with a little more power!

I found the MaryKay eyeshadow is drying on my dry skin. It contains talc as alot of there products do. Also if the eye cream gets in your eyes it burns and your eyes water for at least a hour or more.not good after ive done my makeup. Thank you for the video.
I agree on the foundation it does not last not fullcoverage and the vitamin c+e didn't work for me. The eyeliner they smudge a lot and eyeshadow don't last or not pigment enough for me.
Urgh! That's the worse! Mary Kay does have a great return policy so you might want to connect with your consultant to see if you can change it out for another product or get a refund.
I use to love Mary kay makeup in the 90s but I had acne so it was always bad for my skin at least the one I loved but I loved it so much cause it covers so well. It was compact foundation in a white rectangle case with sponge on one side and I believe a mirror in the lid. I'm sure you don't even make that any more or if so the formula probably changed by now.
this is your review have total respect for it but i use the foundation and love it and the under eye concealer is my very favorite but i can agree with the mascara i just don’t like how thick and hard it is to apply for the mascara

I am a mk consultant I do agree I don’t like there foundation but love the 3 D time wise the repair breaks me out don’t like the repair deep wrinkle repair did not work and very expensive
Hey there! Yes, the deep wrinkle repair is super expensive! I've found the Repair cleanser sometimes leaves little red bumps after I cleanse with it, but then they go away in a couple of minutes. Weird.

I've used MK for decades and people comment on how healthy my skin looks regularly. I agree with you on some of your 'worsts' products but others have been some of my favorites. I think we have to agree that products work differently on different people.

I am a MK Consultant but I also have used the products since I was 18...I'm 50 now. Most all the products are wonderful. There are a few duds. I hated the At Play products. Got stuck with a bunch of them because no one wanted them. I generally don't buy the special trend products. I focus on the regular line skin care.
I could just look at the At Play products and know that they weren't for me or my client base. I don't think I'll ever not be an MK consultant because the regular skincare line is unmatched. The body care products are great, too.

Wow i highly suggest giving the C serum a second chance. It’s seriously a game changer!! It changed my skin so much.
I actually brought the travel size with me on my recent vacation and liked it a lot better. I’m using up another vitamin c serum but might give it a try again!

I actually really love all the products you mentioned, I’ve been using MK since I was 12 and I’ve tried many other brands and nothing compares in my opinion in quality and affordable price range. Btw $28 for the foaming cleanser which you only need the tiniest amount of and will last you forever is actually pretty good.
I've been a consultant and using MK for 4 years. I also started working at a beauty counter this year. So I have access to a lot of beauty brands. And most of the time I end up going back to my MK products. It's funny because most of the products you dislike are actually some of my favorites. A couple of things I like to mention, if you're going to do any Vitamin C treatment, you need to use sunscreen otherwise the product won't be efficient. And for mascara, one thing I've learned is that it's important to use the right brush for your lashes (for example if you have short lashes, don't use a big brush otherwise you end up with clumps). I personally love the chromefusion eyeshadows. I actually find they are some of the rare eyeshadows that don't leave residue on my cheeks (maybe it's just me). As for most powdered eyeshadows, I find that using an eyelid primer is best for getting an uniform application. And finally, I LOVE the creamy eyeshadows. I'm actually so upset that they are discontinued. Finally my advice for anyone using MK products, get your consultant to explain to you how to use products. That's what they're here for 😉

The whole Roc brand is so overlooked. Every product I’ve gotten from that brand has done what it claims and it’s affordable and accessible. You actually see results when majority of other products, you are buying name brand and packaging only. Not with Roc. They put all their money towards quality and technology and it definitely shows.

Of course ever brand has crap products, but I just want to ask what Mary Kay products you do really like and still use as a holy grail, if any? Also, do you like Avon products and if so, can you recommend any?
I agree. MK skincare is the best. I have used many brands and none are as good as MK. I love the chromafusion eyeshadows. Plus the MK mascara applies without clumping. Lipsticks are great.
I guess it’s a matter of opinion. I feel the complete opposite about the cream eye colors and the chromafusion shadows, they are my go to’s every day! The Pale Blush cream eye colour makes a perfect eye primer. The shadows blend beautifully together and I’ve never had trouble with creasing. That’s why they are my faves!! I also love the consistency of the luminous formulation of MK foundation. It creates a lovely, hydrated finish.

Yes I love my mk makeover over others ..and our cleanser is so good for plant stem cells and encapsulated reservatrol- ...the vitamin c serum is amazing for wrinkles
I completely disagree with everything you just said. I absolutely love💓💓💓 the Volume cleanser and Deep Wrinkle Filler. Also the Serum C.....These are my go to skin care items. They actually work. They are worth the investment. And the mascara is the BEST!!! I do agree that the eye shadow could improve, but overall am totally satisfied and LOVE MK products.

Mary Kay's mascara are the best, especially the Volumizing mascara. It looked like I was wearing beautiful, thick false eyelashes!!!
Also, the foundation has so many different shades to match anyone, you can also mix them to get the perfect shade.
I'm sorry to hear of your experience, but to recommend not to use any product in the video is pretty harsh. We all definitely have different experiences with skincare and glamour, but I would never bash a company because of my experience. But as you stated this is just your opinion. I've had some pretty great experiences with Marykay products, especially the skincare. However, I respect your opinion and I'm definitely not trying to bash your opinion because that would not be kind. I do know the company does a product replacement if there is a product you're not satisfied with. The cream Eyeshadows in the jar has been discontinued for years and replaced with liquid Eyeshadows. My family is in the Mary kay program... So me a 17 year old use this products for my whole life... Ive used their stuff when it comes to face cleaning and makeup and my skin is so clear and smooth and moisturize

While not every MK product is for me I do like their eyshadows, I've never felt they were "chalky" & while you did call them middle school quality they are so much nicer than others I have tried. They also stay on all day.

Seint highlighter (foundation) is a total mess…so thick and paste like!
I love my marykay and appreciate your honesty. I personally swear by the eye shadows so I’m sad to hear your experience. The color is rich and lasts all day for me. I use the chromafusion shades not the matte ones. Big difference depending on your skin. If you have dry skin like I do the matte will not work well. The brush you use also makes a big difference and MK has some fabulous ones!
Love the shadows as well. I believe everyone has different experiences. What works for one may not for another. It's subjective. I'm a Mary Kay Consultant as well. Love the products too.
The two Timewise Repair products you mention are both fantastic. I have super dry skin and when I wash using the Repair face wash it leaves my face silky clean. The Repair deep wrinkle filler does the job of eliminating any wrinkle i have. The CC Cream makeup is terrific. It is just enough of a coverage for me that is. My face looks alive and has a brilliance to it. Only products I do not use are the eye colours, pencils, and lip glosses. Think it is a personal thing. I once used very highly expensive products at $150.00 for the face which never did a thing whatsoever. Skincare, products are my favourite.

I need to tell you you should never trash any company...one thing you did not say about the Mary Kay foaming facial is that you only need the size of a pea to clean your face and the tube lasts a very very long time...I would personally would never buy anything from you 😡

My consultant began selling MK after she lost her job 2 yrs ago and I have tried and tried to like the products and actually bought enough product from her in the beginning to fill 3 compacts ( so I tried ), but I just can't...The lipstick is very drying ( but love the smell )..The eyeshadow is exactly what you said...The blushes are "ok"...I did like the retinol product as a good intro to retinol, but am now using a stronger prescription strength product...All of that said, the one product I discovered and LOVE is the cream-to-powder foundation IF I could get the right shade...Which is a whole other issue...God love her, but she's not very well-schooled in makeup selection or application...So I'm flying blind trying to find the right shade, but once I do I will continue to buy and use it until such time it's discontinued or changes...Even in the wrong shade though I know I love it.

I used to sell for this cult in 2014 and stopped because I didn't want people to be uncomfortable around me, and the meetings REEKED of cult jargon. I got in an argument with corporate when the rep above me told me i had to wear skirts when I sell. I am in real estate for many years and I did this for fun, but I told her i can sell more in pants in one day that she can sell in a skirt in a year (cue my narcissistic tendencies.) Corporate told me i should wear a skirt and I advised them that it's illegal to tell sales reps what they can and cannot wear unless they're paid salary. That said, I walked. BUT. I CAN say that the Timewise line I used made me skin look so good that people actually complimented me on how I looked. People I didn't even know asked me what cosmetics I used. I also used their makeup. I'm here to see what people are saying. I went to their website and it's a disaster. All the text is overlapping.
Also note, I had not used professional makeup or skin care before MK, but honestly I never heard compliments after I stopped using MK. So I'll likely go back for the hell of it and keep my professional brands as well.
I use wrinkle filler every single day on crows, feet, elevens, throat, marionette lines. So I've been very pleased.
Roc made my skin like orange peel. 😳 Just me...

Ultimate Mascara is my favorite 🥰 I always got back to it and I don't know why I ever stop using it. Their shadows are amazing, they go on like butter ❤
Products work for different people wothdifferent needs that's why there's a wide range of products for different skin types. My husband loves the volifirm cleanser and I love the 3D cleansers. So it depends on your skincare needs, how you use them and your personal preference.

I've been using Mary Kay for the last 7 years and My skin Is fantastic. I even have a health condition that makes my skin breakout TERRIBLY because of the hormones changes I go through and Mary Kay has been the only thing that has kept my skin how I Always want it to be. I'm sorry that you don't like the products but I feel like the people who make videos like this are trying to put the company down just because they had a bad experience. So I'm sorry for you.

Hey there, I appreciate your comment. I would love to have your insight into what products I was using wrong. I still love MK and use their products so if there’s something I did wrong, I would love to know so I can try it again the right way!
I think MK may have changed their eyeshadow formulation at some point, but I remember back in the 90s y2K era I loved them so much because I had oily lids and didn't know to prime them and MK eyeshadows were pretty good about not creasing. Was it the chalkiness? Not sure - but I thought it was because they were made in Texas that their eye products were fantastic at holding up in the heat and humidity. In recent years I haven't been a huge fan or used much of the cosmetics I bought - I recently threw a bunch out that it looked like I barely touched, which is a shame because my cousin sells them and now I'm down to discontinued brow pencils. I also really loved the original Timewise set back before my rosacea started flaring up in my 30s. I'm not blaming them, -my younger sister and cousins' flared up before mine did so probably inevitable.
I went inactive and one of my customers bought Chanel mascara to replace the Lash Love MK I had been selling to her. She wanted the Chanel to work (she can afford it and likes brand names) but texted me asking me to please stock her up again on Lash Love so she doesn’t run out again.

I like Mary Kay products, and I like cosmetics and skincare from other brands too. My fave MK product is the Lash Love Mascara; it's AMAZING. I agree with you about MK's eyeshadows, I'm not a fan of their eyeshadows because I feel they don't blend as well as other brands' shadows. I wasn't very impressed with MK's Vitamin C serum either. I enjoyed watching your video.

I agree there's things you like in those things you don't like but as far as the cleanser absolutely love it I can definitely feel a difference when I don't use it or I use something else and their day and night creams are rock stars. I've used the eyeshadow before but I'm a thrive girl! Love love love love thrive eyeshadow and mascara. I don't use foundation but when I got my kit I have very white legs I tan everywhere else except for my legs and I picked a shave that my tan look like everywhere else and put it on my legs and buffed it out with a a warmly wet rung out face cloth and my dad my legs look fantastic it stays all day it does not come off on my clothes and it blends my overall skin color together I love it and I continue buying it for that! I liked your video I feel that your truthful and it was entertaining!

Some of my customers also love the mascaras because they don’t have any eye problems like they always did with the cheap mascara…
I just tried Matte & Shine lip color. I liked that it lasted a long time, it was a little dry but not unbearable. I never even tried the gloss. Now I have to try it again!
I actually like the eyeshadows and the mascaras. Alot of the products you mentioned in the other video that are favorites I either haven't tried or they just aren't meant for my skin. I use the cc cream, I prefer that texture

I love the Timewise skin cleanser line. I agree with you on the volufirm line. Also on the eyeshadow, undereye corrector and mascara. It is expensive and for that reason along with the low performance and feel of the eyeshadow, corrector and mascara I dont use any of it anymore.
Nice video! MK is hit or miss I feel as if some of their products work and some don’t. One of their products I love is the sunscreen moisturizer. However, I would have to agree with you on the cleanser. I felt as if it was very drying to the face. The lipstick has various beautiful shades but like you mentioned in the video they don’t seem to stick very well. For the rest of the makeup I feel as it’s perfect for someone who is learning and experimenting with makeup. It’s not to pricey and good enough quality. I love their concealer, blush, bronzer, and eyeshadow. Their new bronzer stick is definitely one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing!!!

I'm not a Mary Kay consultant and could not agree or disagree with your opinions on what you feel are the worst Mary Kay products. I've used some Mary Kay products though out the years and was happy with them. I'm not sure why you felt the need to make a video on what you feel are the worst Mary kay products and why, but it's not coming off as classy. You worked as a consultant for Mary Kay and changed to Seint. No one needed an explanation . Criticizing a company you worked for on social media isn't respectable. You may make a video about why you left Seint , in the future.

lol that's how I felt when she started to name off all the products that work for me and I have the before and after pictures to show for it! I was thinking, surly she's not talking about the same stuff I use..no way..I mean I literally have so many of my friends and family hooked because they see results, not just hear me say it's great or eww it sucks like they work! The cleanser now, she should know to use something for dryness especially if she is still dry after using the repair line (added moisture) like the booster HA Ceramide, OMGOODNESS game changer coming from someone in menopause! I have extremely dry skin or I did, should I say..I couldn't use a cream to powder foundation like the one she showed, I'm just saying that dries you out if your dry but luminous is where it's at with the mk primer! I've used many and will never change especially to the "cheaper" one's that smell and have no skin attributes at all..smh why she hates these amazing products is beyond me but not for everyone I say try using them and find the right one for you. Not all mk products are for everyone but dang girl went off on the good one's I love
Maybe this is kind of a weird question, not sure if anybody has asked this or not yet. I have a very sensitive skin type and if I wear certain eyeliners or eyeshadow was I get irritated easily so I went with a organic type of mineral make up. And I was doing a lot better with those, Does Mary Kay have that line? Or is it more of like a basic make up with the ingredients in it that like universal with all make ups. Try to use less on my face, and do better that way. A friend of mine wants to sell me Mary Kay products and she’s been bugging me a lot. I asked her for the list of ingredients for a couple of things and she sent it to me. It seems just like a lot longer of a list that is in the eyelinereyeshadow than the ones that I’m using right now. What are your thoughts on this?

Just like any other brand you will have hits and misses, I love MK eyeshadow they last all day and have great pigment I never needed to dig my brush in them as you describe. 😂it’s so comical how you are so salty about this brand. Cosmetics are so fun and experimenting with them is even better! I personally hated the saint makeup or however you spell it. It melted off my skin I reside in Texas and it did not work with our hot humid weather which was such a bummer.
The volume filler is one of my favorites!❤
I use the lash intensity mascara and it’s amazing; it gives me fuller lashes just on 1 stroke

I wonder if the products were being used properly tbh. 🤔 I agreed on a few of the products but I do wedding makeup and other events and this makeup doesn't melt like the other brand she listed. I've seen both products on and watched cosmetologists complaine over the melting.. also people who profit from neither companies.

I love the Cream colors use a eye primer. Honey I Use our Matte Colors and love them and gives Nice Coverage. With My Foundation Primer. And I Get a lot of Compliments on my Makeup and they are my Best Sellers.

I purchased them from the MK inventory site so hopefully they weren’t old. Others have also mentioned they loved them so it goes to show you everyone is different! I love their liquid eyeshadows for sure though. I wish they would come out with more colors!

I’ve done a lot of photo shoots and it was a lot of work to make the make up work… they definitely have some hits in the skin care range though :)

I believe your videos would be better received if you didn’t use words like “crap” when describing a product you aren’t fond of. Additionally, not all cosmetic products perform the same on every person. Our chemistry sometimes acclimates to products so one must continually change: Deodorants, although not a cosmetic, are a good example.

I did another video of my favorites and there’s a lot in there. These products were just my personal opinion of stuff that didn’t work for me.
the timewise repair cleanser does NOT clean deeply enough, I have dry skin and adult acne, it did nothing for me. I do want to try the Botanicals or the Naturals line. I think the mascaras are pretty good and heard the CC cream is good..

Makeup from MK sucks 😂 low pigmentation and foundation getting darker after couple minutes on my face 😢 but lip products are great! And also i love the satin hands set and this thick cream that comes with it. ❤
Mary Kay’s product development team sucks. They NEVER come out with exciting new products everything is the same old thing in the same old shade. And their packaging is so boring and matronly. If they put more money into refreshing their products and packaging I’d be a better customer. It’s honestly such boring product and it makes it soooo easy to spend the same amount of money on dept store skin care or makeup because honestly it works better and looks cuter on my vanity
I totally agree!!! Make up is crap!!! I’ve tried almost all of it. Only thing I like is fanorama mascara, lip glosses (chocolate and tawny nude) and the At Play contour stick. Everything else is mehhhh.. I do love the time wise skin care line.
Their skincare is on point tho!

Curious your thoughts on the concealers. I know you stated you didn't like under eye concealer but I'm thinking you meant the under eye corrector. I thought the concealer was supposed to be applied over the under eye corrector. Either way I was definitely curious your feelings on the concealers if you have tried them.
Yes I meant the under eye corrector. The concealers weren't bad and I wore them off and on. My daughter actually uses them now and she really likes them. Yes, the concealers go over the under eye corrector, but I just felt the under eye corrector didn't pack enough punch to actually color correct. If you don't have a lot of dark pigment under your eyes, it might work, but mine are BAD so I didn't something with a little more power!
@@thedeeharker I feel like mine look dark but it's more like they're caved in as opposed to dark. But maybe it's one in the same. Part of the "joys" of aging. 🙄☺️

I found the MaryKay eyeshadow is drying on my dry skin. It contains talc as alot of there products do. Also if the eye cream gets in your eyes it burns and your eyes water for at least a hour or more.not good after ive done my makeup. Thank you for the video.

As for any product, everything isn’t for everyone. I have some skincare products I like but my makeup go to is MAC.
Absolutely! These are the products that didn’t work for ME but others have said they work for them. All up to the person for sure!

I agree on the foundation it does not last not fullcoverage and the vitamin c+e didn't work for me. The eyeliner they smudge a lot and eyeshadow don't last or not pigment enough for me.
I have been using the vitamin c + e I feel like it's breaking me out.
Urgh! That's the worse! Mary Kay does have a great return policy so you might want to connect with your consultant to see if you can change it out for another product or get a refund.
you could use it on your feet or neckline, arms. etc. the smell is alittle off putting but I haven't broke out. yet. thanks for the heads up.
I miss the TimeWise Matte Foundation. The 3D foundation doesn’t work for me! 😔

I use to love Mary kay makeup in the 90s but I had acne so it was always bad for my skin at least the one I loved but I loved it so much cause it covers so well. It was compact foundation in a white rectangle case with sponge on one side and I believe a mirror in the lid. I'm sure you don't even make that any more or if so the formula probably changed by now.

this is your review have total respect for it but i use the foundation and love it and the under eye concealer is my very favorite but i can agree with the mascara i just don’t like how thick and hard it is to apply for the mascara

I am a mk consultant I do agree I don’t like there foundation but love the 3 D time wise the repair breaks me out don’t like the repair deep wrinkle repair did not work and very expensive
Hey there! Yes, the deep wrinkle repair is super expensive! I've found the Repair cleanser sometimes leaves little red bumps after I cleanse with it, but then they go away in a couple of minutes. Weird.
I've tried the foundations and they work well on my skin.
Cool 10 beige would definitely not be your color. You're not a beige though.
