I bought this as a service technician. Fell some buyers remorse trying to find its way in. I’m really excited to see what I can do with it and learn from it.
@@cyeid07 it’s hard to explain but it does. It will show you what the rotation is when you do your 3 measurements. It is a hidden feature is what I call it.
I have the 376FC and 323. Given the cost and size, it wouldn’t be an everyday carry. But I can see having it in the truck/cabinet for those special challenges.
@@walsakaluk1584 if I did more work on the ground, I could see it. It’s heater season, so I’ll spend more time on 10ft ladders over concrete floors checking 24v and 120v troubleshooting.
Great video, really interested in the 378. Only problem is I think the 3 term caps are dual capacitance. Meaning the 45/5 means the one terminal should be 45 mf and the other 5 mf.
FYI, the DC current function uses a Hall Effect device that is sensitive to the earth's magnetic field so to get the most accurate reading you need to hit the "Zero button" right before you clamp around the wire without changing your meter's compass orientation.
Idk about anyone else but hearing it has a Bluetooth function I find that more of a cash grab feature especially in a tool where precision is key and Bluetooth does have some latency personally I think integrating Bluetooth in everything is getting out of control plus if you’re using this in an industrial application the last thing you need is to be fooling around with Bluetooth on a multimeter but you said it yourself the app is limited to what it can do meaning they want micro transactions so you can unlock features that shouldn’t have to be paid for when you’re spending a lot on a multimeter!
I've used it for logging results whilst I remotely access the controls. Then I'm able to add screenshots to my reports. Other use cases in mining I've heard of. Electricians aren't allowed to work live with cabinets open so they set it up, close up the cabinet, then stand in front of it using the iPad to see the results
Very thankful 4 showing us core information how 2 use it! I brought yesterday!
Your gunna love it!!

I amen Fluke 378FC, I am a guy also go 4 top of the line 2 make my life easier working on the job!
I also downloaded the Fluke App!
I personally own it. I love it! It’s an amazing meter. It even does phase rotation. Appreciate it Dan.
How does it do Phase rotation without a third lead?

Given the cost you'd want to be using the crap out of it.

@@jthatguys even the ground isn't safe for instruments.
Forklift wheels don't discriminate. Ask me how I know.

Another great episode from Dan, Thank you!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
You have to try that flex with just the tip it works a charm on contactors left hand rule right hand

It's the best video ever about this fluke.
Also, I have the same fluke and are great .
Thank you!!

That’s awesome. Thanks!
@@dansproshop -- You're welcome!
Awesome job Dan
you’re made for TV
But I wouldn’t wish that on anyone
Haha. Thanks!
Does this do capacitance and temperature
A flashlight in the maw of the clamp would be a nice feature at this price point.
Does that flex adaptor also measure DCA?
Good question. I’m almost positive that the iflex only does amps AC and frequency
How snug do the leads fit into the meter? My current meter is disappointing me with the leads backing out when I'm working.
Very good fit
What are the difference between the Fluke T6-1000 PRO and the Fluke 378FC?
alot of differences. i have reviewed both. check out the videos on my channel!
@@dansproshop Have the t6 1000 pro also amp to ? Make a video a difference between these 2.
@@dansproshop Also there is no video online that actually the differences showcased. You will be the first if you make one.
why the voltage are fluctuating when you are not measuring anything? is that the potential and how do you zero it?
