I live in the Southwest desert area of the USA that is close to the Hayduke Trail as it winds it way from Arches National Park to Zion National Park. Although it can be dangerously hot in the summer and dangerously cold in the winter it is a beautiful and challenging area to hike in and live near. You just have to respect the area and execute your plan. Enjoyed your video very much.....
@@_bearno thank you very much! As we live in France, it will be a big challenge for us to bring everything we need and organize it (although it will be my 16th trips in the US). Will you be OK if I contact you sometimes for few questions?
I did the AZT last year, and had considered this as a possible next hike, but man, I would simply be miserable. It basically checks all of the boxes for stuff I dislike - problem is, it checks all the boxes for stuff I like as well. I hate that problem. Anyhow, thanks for sharing!
Hey Chris, thanks for your comment. What would your probably don’t like about the Hayduke? Maybe I can convince you to do it or at least share my thoughts about some stuff ;) It was such an unique experience!
That's a lot to compress into 3 minutes!!! I would LOVE to do this "trail" but I'm afraid I would get too cold!!! I long for quiet, solitude and starry skies!!

Definitely a not for beginners hike! Thanks for sharing. No way I could manager the scramble and climbs in there...

Man I want to do this so bad. I’m planning a trip from flagstaff az to Denver co via AZ trail, hayduke trail and American discovery trail
That sounds epic!

That‘s awesome, enjoy it! I really can recommend most of the „alternate routes“ and side trips 🤩
