That's what I was told too (It's the bureaucracy!). That's the peak visa application period. But eventually, you'll get it. It sounded grand in the beginning but when I received it, it was another piece of paper😅

@@chimmalambo5023 no, the D.O.V was free when I got it. For legalisation, I paid for stamps. It's translation that I paid $50 for

Thank you for the information. How long did it take to get the DoV ? and concerning certification and legalization of documents. Is that done in my home country and what documents are involved in this process?
I can’t remember how many days exactly but it took me about a week to get my DOV. Certification and legalisation was done where I studied. The only document needed is your degree and ID for the certification…like I mentioned in the video

I have a question if u may help please, i got an acceptance from bari university and they are asking for dov to be admitted but when i called my embassy they said that they only issue dov after i get my visa to italy. What u think i should do ?
If this is the procedure for the embassy in your city, then please follow that. In my case, it was a requirement for visa application.

What happens if you don’t have an embassy or consulate in the country where you studied which is also where you’re from? Can you get a DOV from a nearby country where you apply for study visa?

Say I'm in Cyprus currently and I have been admitted to an Italian university for Masters, but I had my bachelors in Nigeria. And I want to apply for my Italian visa here in Cyprus, can I obtain my declaration of value at the Italian embassy in Nigeria and have the documents legalized there? Will I need to do another legalisation in the Italian embassy in Cyprus where I want to apply for my visa? Please kindly treat as urgent. It's superconfusing

Hi! Congratulations! I mentioned the documents you need in this video. If you watch the whole of it, you’ll know what documents to take. The embassy will direct you to who will give you a DOV. Yes it’s a document. Make sure your bachelors degree is certified by the ministry of foreign affairs first

Honestly I would never let racism stop me from pursuing my dreams. To answer your question, I haven't experienced any outrageous kind of racism in Milan personally. There have been a few instances here and there but not major enough to stand in my way or have a long term impact on my life. Good luck in your application

The Italian consulate will give you the D.O.V. It used to be in Zamalek when I applied but you can ask your university where it is currently located. You don’t need the documents of the convention

Thank you very much for your informative video, if you could kindly put a spot light on my query,
I am selected for a PhD course and DOV is needed, for both Bachelor degree and Master's degree. I have done Bachelor degree from Kazakhstan and Master degree from India, as you mentioned in your video DOV can only be issued in those countries Italian Consulate or Embassies, that is understood. The question is I am not in any of those countries right now and the original documents are in my hand in the third country. Will the notarized translated copy of the documents and an authorized person on my behalf work. Because for me in person and sending hard copies is impossible.
Possible solution/suggestion please?

Please I want to ask you please I am the only child of my mother and my father didn’t take any responsibility of me and I have gained admission at Sapienza and they said I should use my mothers bank statement but the problem is she isn’t having that enough money to show and moreover is been my uncle who has been taking care of my education since I started schooling and he is the one having that funds please can I use his statement
All they need us proof of financial means. You can show your uncles if he is the one that takes care of you

Please it’s because he is using it for business and that’s the reason why I need to use his own please any option
He is the same accounts that he is using for his business, that’s why he can put that amount in my own accounts so the only option is to use his bank statement instead
