A year ago, former mayor Russ The Suss cancelled Christmas for all the residents of Otter Creek
So the residents came together to throw the biggest Christmas Celebration the tiny town has ever experienced
With a massive outpouring of love & generosity from people around the world, the kids of Levy County Florida are counting down the days to see Santa
Volunteers have been coming from across the country to help bless the families of the area
The Hudson sisters share the history of Otter Creek Christmas' and it brings us all to tears

Hearing the talk of the paper bags with apples, oranges, candy etc. reminds me of when I was a kid. Our church provided similar sacks for all the kids. My parents always volunteered to take care of that project… dad went to a local grocery for cases of fruit and a wholesale candy distributor to get the “fillings”. But Dad, Mom, my brother and I did the filling. We would pull the table to the middle of the kitchen and go round and round until we were done! What a fun and blessed memory!!

Hi everyone, it is 11.10 am on December 16th in Melbourne, Australia. And I have just watched the video and my heart is so full of joy with what has been done by EVERYONE, from Jeremy, George, Dianna and EVERYONE ELSE ( I can't remember ALL the names) who have helped in some way to " bring back a Hudson style" Christmas to Otter Creek. And by no means least of all ALL the wonderful people who have donated everything for " Christmas in the Creek" the GREAT success I am sure it will be. Again a GREAT BIG thank you to everyone. I pray🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 that the peace and love ❤❤❤❤❤❤ of God falls on everyone and that everyone has a Blessed Christmas and a Great New Year. God Bless you all.

Here is a guy that comes from Ohio helping with getting back Christmas in Otter Creek with these delightful ladies. You all take more pride in otter creek than the ones in charge of the city. How sad that these elected officals can't get off their butts to do this.

When I was growing up, my parents were never wealthy, but they always managed to do something for all five of us growing up. Christmas at Mom and Dad's was always a joyous time for family togetherness. Many times my husband, son and I drove to their home which was more than a thousand miles away from where we lived. That time with my entire family was very special. Both my parents have been gone for more than 23 years now, and, yes, my dear husband, too. I know I will see them again in Heaven! May God bless you in your efforts for this Christmas special party!
