Good evening
It happened sometimes that I fired empty and the arrow remained in the magazine because I pressed the trigger too much and this raised the arrow and the string passed underneath breaking Foreend Set (Side Plates). Does it only happen to me.?

Alright mate, was wondering if you could help with a little problem I have. Accidentally dry fired my Stinger. The serving around the string loop has started coming loose. As I’m in the UK, it’s difficult to order Steambow strings (thanks Brexit). Are all 17” strings okay to use?? Seen one for the Horizone redback at this length. Also, is it easy to repair or replace the serving on the strings?? Cheers.

I would advise you to only change the serving, not the entire string. Get dyneema yarn, watch tutorial from my buddy Eric, almost no cost, easy to do.

Bei mir ist einmal die Hilfssehne beim Spannen an den Enden "explodiert", als ich damals den 90er Bogen einbauen wollte. Seitdem benutze ich ein Paracord, tausendmal sicherer. Habe mal das gleiche an einen anderen RUclipsr in den Kommentaren geschrieben, da ist Steambow auf meinen Kommentar aufmerksam geworden und wollte mir einen neuen schicken. Habe es einfach ignoriert, weil ich der Hilfssehne nicht mehr vertraue.
