actually the author explain evangelion it's mostly symbolic puzzle which defines different symbol base on our understanding which for him is not totally wrong
Ah, so she was a human clone or human homunculus after all. Though I’m still confused about how it was accomplished as the others weren’t in an artificial womb device. Man, science is complicated and this is mixed with a lot of religious imagery and entities.
I mean, the process and results depicted aren't even remotely accurate to begin with. Just about the only thing accurate to irl cloning is the involvement of copying DNA. But it is fiction, after all. They could invoke the power of the almighty flying spaghetti monster if they wanted to.
Thankfully this is science fiction. Cloning a human is possible it’s really hard but someone could do it but, there way too many ethical issues. Also there is a high risk that your clone might have genetic, or physical deformities. It would be cool to grow clone organs though.
But she did feel more doll than human. That's why I'm proud of Rei for standing up to Gendo at the end. And the fact it were Shinji and Asuka of all people who probably inspired her stand up to him... For two messed teens, they were really good shock therapists.
Man, when I saw the series, I thought it was because she just happened to be a clone because a depressed man neglected his son and would rather be with his wife

I know that making videos is a hard thing to do (depending on if you actually edit something, and use layers and other things,) however making a title shouldn't be too hard. What is the video about? That is the question that should be answered with the title. To me this is not a deep dive, or an explanation of Rei as a character, like your title would suggest. A more accurate title would be. "Rei: Everything She Does In Neon Genesis Evangelion." As it is this is just a synopsis of what the character does, and can easily be seen/understood by viewers of the show. To really understand, and explain Rei, you would need to go into what drives Gendo. You would need to talk about Yui's roll at Nerv. What Ritsuko was working on in Terminal Dogma, and lots of other things that are not just Rei went here. Rei fought Angel. Rei and clones get blowed up.
Deliberate implies that it was done on purpose. When it comes to names derived from other cultures that is kinda unfounded. Especially when the culture uses a different writing system.
7 min, of evangelion whole story... no more watching, dislike, and if i only have time to waste - there will be clickbite rapport [guessing by other comments u didn’t explain nothing!]
The thing is, they were the ones who inspired her to stand up against Gendo. Asuka forced her to question her role as Gendo's doll. And Shinji made her feel valued beyond being merely a pilot. Gendo treated her well, but she knew what she really was for him at the end. The relationship between the trio is of the most interesting I've seen. She loves and respects them a lot despite their flaws, and she probably believes she can fix them by causing Impact. Rei's feelings towards them are valid, even if I understand why you prefer her to hate them.
classifying this as clickbait... video doesn't 'explain' anything... it's just a synopsis. very disappointed!
It explains Rei’s role in the series amongst other things
@@ghoultermina lol, you can watch that anime by yourself. This vid is pointless
It explains what she does?

I think it has something to do with that fanta
Gotta love how Anno _tried_ to make her creepy and failed spectacularly.
But she did feel more doll than human.

"Deep dive"? More like "Simple Recap".
Anyone else think she looks like Shinji's Mom?
How did you figured that out?
"You'd make a great mother, Rei!" -Shinji
Oh chip 😅
Man, when I saw the series, I thought it was because she just happened to be a clone because a depressed man neglected his son and would rather be with his wife
Rei Ayanami was a clone of Yui Ikari

hey! enjoyed some of these videos! just curious, what's with the intentional mispronunciation of names?
