    It seems like most people are in denial about how good automation and AI already is. But most people won't take this serious until they themselves lose their careers and are left destitute.

    The Ubi guy had a good understanding on the word volunteering this is work that we do willingly for no pay that means paid work is involuntary...

    UBI is just the beginning! A post UBI world removes a race to the bottom just to get help. It takes money to make money. A constant, relaible, and stable source exponentially help people strive to do bigger and better things!

    UBI has to be part of the banks and government bonds program, as the entity/institution need the money to keep sending out money. One way is to see how bank does it.

    I see UBI and VAT tax as the tax break being given to the working class that is long over due. And VAT tax is tax that billionaires can't get out of. It would help end homelessness. It would reduce student loan debt. It would help alot of people to become self employed.

    To deal with the deflationary nature of technological productivity gains we print money but instead of giving it to people we give it to banks in the hopes that they will inject it into the economy through lending to businesses. Like watering the wetlands in the hopes that the transpiration from that will cause rain on the farms. It’s not that it doesn’t sort of work but it is beyond extreme in its wasteful inefficiency.

    Its a shame society loves too get upset about the Trumps of this world instead of focussing more on the productive talks. Like seriously, every bad news report about a controversial person is like a free ad for them.

    Incredible work. I wouldnt describe myself as libertarian but it looks like i align myself with their conclusions. China and Ji have shown their plan for the automation age. But if america gets leaders like Yang im hoping for one of freedom and justice to be shown.

    This may have been mentioned, but would those receiving UBI sacrifice any portion of their potential social security. Is there any relationship between the two?

    If I were to give $1000 a month to my constituents, I would start a business that pays me a boatload of money to show stuff, such as commercials, then distribute, but only if they're working, because if you're giving money to unemployment, then more and more will join in on the crowd.

    • @gregorbegger9291
      @gregorbegger9291 Год назад +1

      Well everyone should be working, even if it’s just part time. Let’s face it, lots of jobs out there can’t afford to pay everyone to work full time, that’s who I’d give the money to
