    Thank you so much for this! I was struggling to create my own mockup then i saw your video. I tried it on AD V2 on iPad. It works! I could finally do my own warp/perspective mockup!

    Really enjoy your no nonsense method of teaching. Excellent tutorials. Years ago Ii had learned quite a bit about Illustrator, but the interface just made no sense to me. I couldn't get how clunky it was to go between Illustrator and Photoshop. Been using Affinity Photo for a few years now and your tutorials along with Designers interface have completely renewed my interest in creating vector based content. Thanks!

    Awesome as usual. I always pick up tips no matter how basic a job. Just little things I could have done and didn't realise.. Brilliant.!!. I'm just pissed at You Tube as I have had a notification of any of these videos, but I did get notified of 2 shorts in the last couple of days which prompted me to go to your channel and find these.

    Thank you for this tutorial. I spend almost a whole day figuring out where to find the warp button in the layers panel (like the vector warp has a button there). Affinity could have made this a bit more consistent between the two personas

    • @ArtistWright
      @ArtistWright  Год назад +1

      No problem! I totally agree, it's buried in there. From reading posts from staff on the affinity forum, they weren't 100 percent sure how useful it would be, given as its already in affinity photo. So I think they are testing it and maybe in the future it will be a bit more of a full feature.

    Great tutorial. Would be awesome of Affinity could make it so that when we use a mesh, it automatically makes the image transparent and then toggles back to full opacity.

    • @CorinneIsIn
      @CorinneIsIn Месяц назад

      @@ArtistWright They have a fantastic forum and that is a great suggestion. I am figuring that it's not unusual for someone doing mockups to have to do several so it would definitely reduce the extra work of tweaking the opacity each time.

    Hi ArtistWright, I would love to see a video about color management. This would include an introduction to the default AD palettes, creating custom palettes, creating chords and triads from a single swatch, etc. If you have already covered these concepts, I apologize. Please tell me what the video is named, and I'll find it!

    • @ArtistWright
      @ArtistWright  10 месяцев назад

      Hello there and that's for the suggestion! I'll be noting that down. I've not covered it extensively but in a couple of videos I touch upon it slightly.
      Watch this tutorial where I create a document pallet with colours based on an image.

    I don’t know why affinity doesn’t promote these kinds of use cases more themselves. This shits all over adobe smart objects, far more intuitive and all live on the fly, beats having to save the object and guess whether it fits right. Cheers bud, this is definitely gonna improve my workflow 👌🏾

    Does AD has 3 point perspective grid like Illustrator?

    • @ArtistWright
      @ArtistWright  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, isometric panel has many options for different grids, you can customise your own grid too ( you'll see the option if you go to 'window')

    • @orphydiancg7759
      @orphydiancg7759 10 месяцев назад

      @@ArtistWright I watched your 2 years old Isometric grid tutorial. Probably the best out there. I'm impressed this software has so many options for isometric grids but it does seem to have a real 3d perspective grid with vanishing points. Pls take a look at the grid type in Illustrator.! This is a major ommission from the guys at Serif
