Thank you so much for this! I was struggling to create my own mockup then i saw your video. I tried it on AD V2 on iPad. It works! I could finally do my own warp/perspective mockup!
Really enjoy your no nonsense method of teaching. Excellent tutorials. Years ago Ii had learned quite a bit about Illustrator, but the interface just made no sense to me. I couldn't get how clunky it was to go between Illustrator and Photoshop. Been using Affinity Photo for a few years now and your tutorials along with Designers interface have completely renewed my interest in creating vector based content. Thanks!
You are so welcome, thanks for leaving your feedback I appreciate it. I have a similar story to you. I never really enjoyed using illustrator either. With Affinity I actually enjoy creating!
Awesome as usual. I always pick up tips no matter how basic a job. Just little things I could have done and didn't realise.. Brilliant.!!. I'm just pissed at You Tube as I have had a notification of any of these videos, but I did get notified of 2 shorts in the last couple of days which prompted me to go to your channel and find these.
Cheer Michael, appreciate it. I don't know why RUclips is like that. When I posted this video I marked that I wanted my subscribers to get notified. Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you for this tutorial. I spend almost a whole day figuring out where to find the warp button in the layers panel (like the vector warp has a button there). Affinity could have made this a bit more consistent between the two personas
No problem! I totally agree, it's buried in there. From reading posts from staff on the affinity forum, they weren't 100 percent sure how useful it would be, given as its already in affinity photo. So I think they are testing it and maybe in the future it will be a bit more of a full feature.
Just discovered you and your channel ... Amazingly helpful! Your demonstrations are so well explained and easy to follow. You have helped me immensely with my process ❤❤
Great tutorial. Would be awesome of Affinity could make it so that when we use a mesh, it automatically makes the image transparent and then toggles back to full opacity.
@@ArtistWright They have a fantastic forum and that is a great suggestion. I am figuring that it's not unusual for someone doing mockups to have to do several so it would definitely reduce the extra work of tweaking the opacity each time.
Appreciate the effort you put into these tutorials. Even when I think I have an understanding of a tool or procedure, I end up saying to myself "I didn't know that! Cool!!"@@ArtistWright
@pixelrancher thanks! Im always trying to learn a better way of doing something. yeah they take me a good while to make with all the bells as whistles added.
Hi ArtistWright, I would love to see a video about color management. This would include an introduction to the default AD palettes, creating custom palettes, creating chords and triads from a single swatch, etc. If you have already covered these concepts, I apologize. Please tell me what the video is named, and I'll find it!
Hello there and that's for the suggestion! I'll be noting that down. I've not covered it extensively but in a couple of videos I touch upon it slightly. Watch this tutorial where I create a document pallet with colours based on an image. ruclips.net/video/I5Kk5knEKfY/видео.htmlsi=0HWCjD4zmq2SwXeu
I don’t know why affinity doesn’t promote these kinds of use cases more themselves. This shits all over adobe smart objects, far more intuitive and all live on the fly, beats having to save the object and guess whether it fits right. Cheers bud, this is definitely gonna improve my workflow 👌🏾
I've no idea, I know they are getting more active with their tutorials etc maybe they are working up to it. I appreciate the comment 👍 glad my content helps you
@@ArtistWright I watched your 2 years old Isometric grid tutorial. Probably the best out there. I'm impressed this software has so many options for isometric grids but it does seem to have a real 3d perspective grid with vanishing points. Pls take a look at the grid type in Illustrator.! This is a major ommission from the guys at Serif
This channel is completely underrated! Best Tutorials about Affinity Designer out there. Thank you
Thanks Abraxas!
Agreed. I've paid for less quality. I'd certainly b buy his course if he made one.
Thank you so much for this! I was struggling to create my own mockup then i saw your video. I tried it on AD V2 on iPad. It works! I could finally do my own warp/perspective mockup!
Well done Justin! 👍
Your tutorials are second to none and your natural teaching skills on educating complex tools . Thank you. Cheers, Hendrik

Thank you! yeah V2 has some long awaited features, definitely worth it in my opinion.

Thank you! Hey get involved with the official affinity forum. They listen to their users so go and tell them, you never know

You need to switch to pixel persona mode first
Absolutely excellent :)
Thank you 👍🏻
Can you do about professional texts effect
Can you explain further
F*$£ing Awesome Tutorial !!!! Thank you
Cheers
Does AD has 3 point perspective grid like Illustrator?
Hi there, isometric panel has many options for different grids, you can customise your own grid too ( you'll see the option if you go to 'window')

Muito bom!!!
Thank you!
Can this be done on an ipad too?
Yes you can, go to pixel persona and then the add menu from what I've read, I don't have an iPad though
Hoy do you this on iPad? Please
Sorry I'm not making iPad Tutorials just yet. But you can do this on ipad
Is any of this even possible in illustrator?
Honestly I have no idea lol
