It's Alexandre Despatie the best of all!!! He is a strong man and beautiful like a god! I know he wasn't as great as the other years (especially his last dive of his career. And I cried a lot for that!) but come on! He has been hurt 1 month before going to London. Bravo Alex! J't'adore! Tout le Québec aussi d'ailleurs!
5156 is 3.8. It is nicer triple out, I think. Anyone would struggle to keep their feet together though (presuming they were one of the few people on the planet strong enough to do the dive in the first place).
The man is simply amazing. Perfect tens are for flawless dives though. If He Chong has done this off the charts dive perfectly in the past I know he would be the first to want tens only if he actually keeps his feet together. After so much hard work and dedication the last thing a great diver wants is inaccurate scores from gratuitous or undiscerning judges. Of course, I don't doubt at all that he is capable of doing it perfectly. Amazing.
thanks for the vid, i just figured out how to twist better from watching this. im not a diver, i taught my self and sure hell can't do any of that. 2 flips of anything is best i can get! But watching their technique i can apply to the pool. If people were impressed with my diving already, they will be totally impressed when i add some technique to it! Im going to the pool no to practice on those twist dives
My deepest respect is for these men. Although not even the olympic divers have perfect entries, but they have some major pike savings! *And then there's Greg Louganis.
I watch this video almost everyday to help me analyze technique of the pros; such a great video. Will you be making a 2012 olympics 3m video? Please do, that would be great.
@dnahelix2 Hey man I'm 14 and just started learning stuff like that .. Yeah I've never dived a season in my life but i just started learning that stuff this week .. Your doing really good for your age .. Keep Diving :)
@skaterfugater yea its been done, most divers who have full 3m lists can probably do it and do it decently, its not a very technically difficult dive nor is it that useful but sure it can be done cleanly
@skaterfugater I don't mean to one up anything lshd1v8 said but to give you a frame of reference, I did have an acquaintance in the area that I dive do a 205a from 3m [back two and a half straight]. So yes it is possible but like lsh1v8 said, not very useful.
hey Ishd1v8, you seem to know quite a bit about diving and divers. I am wondering if you have ever heard of someone doing a straigt double backflip from 3m diving board. I know it wouldn't be a competition move since it would be impossible to dive into the water cleanly. I am just wondering if it's possible.
Typically i don't care for sports at ALL. Don't care for watching, don't mind recreational playing. But figure skating is pretty. And this? Grace at it's most perfect form.
Mans body in perfect form. This stuff is porn for me. I'm convinced that watching Olympics mens diving when I was a kid is what made me realized that I'm gay.
@AndrewSederholmTV - lost some of the software cause my computer crashed...ill try to get another one started dont know when it will be done though sorry : (
People down others because they are jealous. No matter what points they point out, the underlying cause is ALWAYS jealousy. I'm Chinese and I don't care how these people train. If they undergo harsh and brutal training, fine. If they are very relaxed, fine. But look at the end result. Chinese people seem to know that in order to make a person a champion, you can't give him/her too much freedom. People are like weeds. They grow wherever you don't want them to.
I love this. Most people dont take diving as a serious sport or an emotional sport. You really captured all that diving is in this video
This is one of the best diving videos on youtube
its the best diving video ever, i really wish you do one on 10m
Proud to say I have an Olympic athlete as a coach. Chris Colwill is the man.

the triple twisting front 2.5 blows my mind every time
the song and the video go together amazingly :)
Would love to see this with full resolution video. The details that they capture are amazing.
its the best diving video ever, i will wish you do one on 10m:D
best music to footage combo
Great video, great editing thanks!
BADASS VIDEO GREAT COMPILATION!!!!
Just watching that toe position is almost giving me foot cramps....
This is pretty amazing!
awesome video and music
Enjoyed this video, thumbs up from us and cheers from sunny IGY Simpson Bay Marina, Sint Maarten in the Caribbean.

truly unbelievable, great song too!
Perfect match of music and video
Gorgeous ... they have all worked so hard kudos!
@vladomania The song is called "Running up that hill." This version is performed by Placebo, however the original is by Kate Bush.

A W S O M E video, thanks for making it and thanks for sharing it! Pure inspiration.
China's He Chong is one of the very few who can perform this dive perfectly at such a young age too
My deepest respect is for these men. Although not even the olympic divers have perfect entries, but they have some major pike savings! *And then there's Greg Louganis.
Pardon my expression...But this is phucking great. I wish you had your cameras around back in 1980 and 1984. But this will do. Thank you.
Excellent!!!
Love the song and Kate Bush!

awesome vid
o-o interesting music to go along with it
The song might be performed by Placebo here, but it was sung originally by Kate Bush.
i love how theyre toes are pointed till the second they get under the water
1:42
probably the prettiest 205B i've seen
u should do a complication of these jumps like the jumper changes in air because many are very similar...
Agree COMPLETELY!
Well i love to see their ball. Biggest ball is awesome
@JasmineVlogs Its how they get their height in their hurdle, or approach.
This song I love! Swimming is my sport.
Beautiful :)
Gawd they're amazing :0
....i like the music background

Wow. Okay, time to try this at my local pool.
So tell me, Mr. Xinyuan: What happens to those famous athletes when they retire?
@vladomania
In original this is Kate Bush - Running Up That Hil
♥♥♥♥ TuT♥ That was beautiful~
good for technique analysis
is it good if i am 9 and i can do a Front 1 and a half and a reverse dive with a hurdle?
the front pike in triple twist front dive out was fucking sick!!!
@ae333 glad you like it
Insane.
what was the difficulty for the guy who did the dive at 2:00???? it was awesome!!
The difficulty at 2:00 was 3.4

@Ishd1v8 Is it good if I am 9 and i can do a Front one and a half and Reverse dive with a hurdle?
@Singer90 I love Despatie in a speedo.
@Ishd1v8 looked like triple full twist out,
Well edited. I like the way you put these clips together, but the actual video quality was quite poor in places.
TRiG.

I just did...
Are you looking for that scent of blood so that you can find its trail to lead to the meat?
killer athletes, these!
why do they always almost kneel on the diving board before diving? for example 3:00
NICE! :)
Typically i don't care for sports at ALL. Don't care for watching, don't mind recreational playing. But figure skating is pretty. And this? Grace at it's most perfect form.
How are male Olympic divers, without fail, so gorgeous in face and body? Gotta bag me one of those...
COMO SE LLAMA LA MUSICA DE FONDO? )::
@divingdude93 - I actually have started working on one, it should be done within a couple weeks
um, i did my first front flip off board yesterday, i was trying to dive flip and then headfirst but flipped and flopped
Can someone please tell me the name and artists of this song?
I've always wondered this ,but do the judges get a slow motion replay of the dive?
Awesome :)
"Running Up That Hill," but Placebo is doing a cover of the (much better) Kate Bush original from her 1985 album Hounds of Love.
i wonder if they can cannonball well??
9gag??
thank you : )
@xDeadEcho its possible, and plus 2.5 pike really isn't that difficult at all...its almost considered a voluntary on 3m
Mans body in perfect form. This stuff is porn for me. I'm convinced that watching Olympics mens diving when I was a kid is what made me realized that I'm gay.
