It might be insightful for you to talk with the many nuns actively managing these initiatives on the ground, likely at the behest of your own higher-ups. If you wanted to act with genuine compassion, the church would cease all activities, given they have done nothing but encourage trafficking and criminal activity.
Them, as well as the Lutheran charities, are making big bank and getting paid per head for their troubles. They are at the forefront of the Refuge industry as well.

As long as people go through the correct, legal route of immigrating to our country I believe as well as an overwhelming majority of American citizens welcome them. People will say that our immigration system is broken because it takes too long to become a legal naturalized citizen to this country. To them I say, ask anyone who has become a legal citizen of this country by doing it correctly the legal way,and if it was worth the wait and if they would go through it again and I bet almost 100 percent of them would say yes. Just because something is "difficult" or "takes too long" does not mean that it is broken and doesn't work. There's no doubt that there are things that could be done to speed the process up some but not by bypassing critical rules which are in place to keep our country a safe and productive place for all of its citizens. Unfortunately the current Administration has disregarded any and all of those safeguards that are in place for those exact reasons and I believe we the citizens of this country are in for some very difficult times because of it.

We, the US, is at nearly 2 million per year of legal immigrants being processed in. You can see the stats on the DHS website. But its very telling that the Democrat Socialists appear to pretend that there is not any sort of distinction between legal immigration and illegal immigration.
