nope a minecraft map is only 128x128 blocks as they r not in their main survival world they can use commands to fill the area

Still really hoping you do that glass chunk idea I had a few months back.
Replace every visible block with its corresponding glass color. Then remove every single other block.
Replace lava with orange glass, water with blue, diamonds with light blue, deep slate with dark gray, stone with light gray, etc...

8:48 they seem different because our eyes take in different levels of red green and blue, and based on the different amounts it makes up a colour, this is how computer pixels work

About the color changing illusion - it has to do with how our nerves are stimulated, we always see colors in the contrast to neighboring colors - red has the lowest contrast to orange, thus it looks darker - while blue has the highest contrast to orange ;-)
