The cat does seem at least okay most of the time. The reason why he hisses all the time is because he physically cannot meow. Hissing is his only method of communication. However, you can easily tell when he’s aggravated if you look at the ears. If they’re perked up, he’s doing fine. If they’re folded down, he’s agitated
Fun fact: the reason why the caracal hisses, doesnt mean ots scared or annoyed, caracals and some other large felines are not capable of meowing, like lions or caracals, but some others can (usually smaller felines) Amd yes i did type this by hand, its not copied from google
