  • Chelsea's protracted transfer of Moises Caicdeo has finally concluded for a reported £115m. While his abilities are obvious, in Enzo Fernandez's performance against Liverpool we might already have had a glimpse of what could be the strongest midfield pairing in the Premier League.

    No Europe for us as well. These signings couldn’t have come at a better time. Now we have so much time to cook with top quality players who haven’t even peaked yet . We have players who actually respect and know what our badge represents. We managed to out play Klopp’s world class Liverpool without these new signings! Just imagine with Olise, Lavia, Caicedo and Nkunku. New era for Chelsea with Reece as captain… it’s like God’s will, from a Chelsea academy baller going through all of Chelsea’s highs and lows since a boy and now he’s the skipper of one of the best teams in the world. Thiago at the back, Drogba’s regeneration as our striker, Enzo and Mudryk as starboys, Chilwell as the team’s gatekeeper. This team is full of living legends. Havertz and Mount, who?… Big things coming for us this decade, we finally done it lads. COYB💙🔥🔥

    I think Caicedo will free up Mudryk(or even all left wing in attack) more than Enzo.
    At this match we saw that (even with pinned Colwill to Mo Salah) Chilwell was forced to make tons of work to fix all mistakes Gallagher made.
    Gallagher should play as a 10 when there is no Nkunku, Mudryk - on the wing, Chilwell as a LB, Colwill as a CB.
    Match was a pure experiment.

    • @thestoo8328

      I really don't like seeing Gallagher there, playing in a deeper role, being pressed by an excellent Liverpool midfield when he's weak on his left foot made me nervous. He made up for those mistakes with some really important interceptions though, but he is an attacking player
      I have a feeling he's leaving though, thinking of the spend so far it would make sense from a pure profit perspective.

    • @anthonyhiggins9799
      @anthonyhiggins9799 Год назад +8

      That's precisely the plan. However, they also intend to focus even more on academy development than ever before, and that's with an academy that's already been the most profitable in the world for the past 8 years, as well as buying wonderkids for cheap and loaning them to the likes of Strasbourg, and selling them for profit if they don't reach a Chelsea level, so plenty of ways for Chelsea to offset a lot of this expenditure on an annual basis to build up a transfer kitty when required.

    • @jaredjohn2176
      @jaredjohn2176 Год назад +1

      It is the plan. Because of the length of the contracts it is PARAMOUNT that the players signed all or nearly all do extremely well. If they don’t, there is no sell value which means there is no way to streamline revenue. However, I can say with confidence that the club brought in the right profiles and players and there’s a very low bust potential imo.

    2 cd, reece and chilly on the back
    enzo as 8 and 2 stable midfielders alongside
    and our insanely dynamic and fast paced forwards with jackson really being able to penetrate defenses, i think its an insanely good team
    not just good but young as well.
    If this team synergize well, we could be seeing a powerhouse that can be title contender for almost a decade and thats scary.
    Although i am aware that thats not as easy as it sounds but still.

    They won’t be title challengers, but if they give Pocchetino time and we find a striker who is consistent, then Chelsea will be back in the Champions League and challenging again.

    Only if other positions are taken care of. And it will take at least 2 seasons if city are still the same. People are overrating chelsea, so many young players will take time and will make mistakes and the top 6-8 has gotten tougher

      @@imanamerican8662do u realise how weak city actually are this season. Arsenal can say good bye had thier chance and Liverpool have just lost 10 signings in midfield and still need CB's this season alone and havent got ANYONE at all to replace in the window 2 weeks and anyone they go for there fucked. Oh 20 million. It was half price but it will be double or triple the amount 40-60 million. 1 midfielder and no cbs and 110 million half the money is down the shitter with 1 player alone. U have no idea of the severity this has caused Liverpool this alone can cost Liverpool for another 30 years without challenging from this season alone.

    You have to be on drugs to think Chelsea will be actual contenders. I fully expect them to make top 4 with these signings though. City will likely run away with the league again provided they stay healthy (is Kevin out for 4 months or the whole season for example, that could change everything).

    • @jotarokujo9587

      Honestly Enzo is looking to be one of the best midfielders itw who has the workrate and defensive capabilities as well as vision, insane passing range and accuracy and long shots. Caicedo is unique like they said and his tackling and defensive capabilities in midfield make him similar to Kanté. So they’ll have the best young midfield controller in Enzo, who plays LOTS of passes and can create from about anywhere. And Caicedo to win the ball. Enzo is pretty good at winning the ball himself.
