    Thanks for another illuminating review.
    But most of all, it was great to see some of the Czech Republic on a bike. Mesmerising - I'm very jealous.
    Cheers!

      Oh thanks. I am happy you like it. I have about 2 - 3 more videos from Czech coming and then I go to create in Italy. I think it will be slightly more scenic :))

    You really make some of the best reviews, good information and interesting to watch. Many review Chanels like 1000ps I liked to watch in the past try to much to do different reviews, but they tell only things you can see in the datasheet. Thanks a lot And kind regards From Germany

      And I also agree with your comment on horsepower (I have a Moto Guzzi V7, so I am not a speed Junky ;) ) And I see on so many reviews th comments but bike XY is better because it has 10 HP more and is cheaper, this bike would be good with 20HP more…. I dont think they really use the more power on the street. And I also like it when bikes have more tourque down low. It is much better to have fun within street legal speed.

      Thank you so much for your comment. This is interesting, because I am thinking everyday how to make it great and bring something which is not already on the market (on youtube). It is hard when I look at it globally, but this is something which I try most. I am disappointed same as you from reviews which only read the features of the bike from the website. Feelings and personal opinion is the most important. Thanks

      Mmm Moto Guzzi V7 is a lovely bike. What a coincidence - in just few days I am leaving to Italy to visit Italian manufacturers and test Italian bikes. I start in Dolomites testing Moto Guzzis. Can't wait to try V7 and V9. I sometimes feed lack of power, like I did in review of Triumph Street Scrambler (it is here on RUclips), but this was mainly because the bike lost some power over generations and as the owner of previous one I found it wrong decision. But this is an complicated topic ...
      Nevertheless, keep enjoying Moto Guzzi and talk to you soon in comments :))

    Thank you for your congenial review. I like the Scrabler 1100 very much, esp. the "Special" Version. I think its a great cruising bike, with nice style and lots of modern features (cornering ABS from Bosch!). The only thing I dislike is the throttle cable ... Many greetings from Germany!

    Just bought the 1100 sport 2018 I will be getting it next month
    I guess this is one of the best bikes now I have access to the BMW its away bigger but aggressive engineering so I chose the 1100 sport
    Ducati is a luxury bikes with classic look loaded with technology that you cant find accompanied In one bike like this one
    Love it truly
    And my eyes still on bmw r9t scrambler

    Competitors stronger...? Well,.it depends in which rev range.... I think this one is stronger in the usual rev range you use on open roads. Thanks for your review

    Just fyi: The Special does not have upgraded suspension. Its the same as the base model. If you want the upgraded Ohlins, you need to get the Sport model. All the upgrades on the Special are cosmetic.

      Oh now I see it. I am saying in 01:25 there is better suspension. I misspoked there I see. Thanks for the comment :)

      Hi Jimmy, thanks for comment. Any experience and opinion is always welcome. I also love the 803 Scrambler, only I have problem with mine 193 cm of height... Only option for me is still the Desert Sled.

    Hey Buddy, Really love watching your videos.Thank you for your bikes reviews. Which one do you prefer, scrambler 1100 or xsr 900 or any of the Triumphs? Which one of them is the best and must haves. Please help.

    Good review of a nice bike but if its at its best enjoying the scenery at 100kph do you really need the expense of an 1100 Ducati? Look forward to a review of the Royal Enfield 650 twin. Cheers.

      @JFMotorcycles  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, I think this is a fair point :) I am also waiting for the Royal Enfield. Maybe I should go to India and shoot it there :)

      Sometimes there are things beyond practicality and justification. Why buy a rolex or patek when a casio or seiko offers same time accuracy or even better?

    Love the bike, with the exception of the cheap-looking gauge and housing - just awful. I can't get past that. It's going to be either a BMW R Nine T or a Triumph T120 for me.

  • @threethrushes
    @threethrushes 6 лет назад +1

    Fair review.
    Having watched hundreds of reviews over the years, the only reviews I trust are ownership reviews after six months or a year, by someone who has shelled out their cash for the bike.
    If you see a blue XSR900 in Prague, that will be me!

    • @JFMotorcycles
      @JFMotorcycles  6 лет назад

      Hi Gerhard. I understand what you say and that was my original reason to start shooting reviews. I struggled to find relevant, in-depth and independent review of bikes I am interested in. The ownership reviews are independent but sometimes they have lack of quality or experience of the owner... I am trying to make it better but I don't know whether this was actually smart move and wether this activity is feasible in a long term... let's see..
      Oh, I wish we can ride sometime together on blue XSRs :)) My bike is now on Gran Canaria but I am planning to bring it back soon

  • @saadpatel3490
    @saadpatel3490 5 лет назад +1

    isn't a L-twin just a tilted V-twin (and cuz its ducati they must have tuned the V-twin in a way that it wont perform like a V-twin)

    • @johnDukemaster
      @johnDukemaster 3 года назад

      Some say L-twin due to the cylindreconfiguration. It looks more like an L than a V.

    • @splodge5714
      @splodge5714 3 года назад

      When V reaches 90° it becomes L.

    This review is like driving a Jeep and never taking it off road? Go Scramble ? I see no Scrambling? At least ride it thru someones front yard!!!

    • @JFMotorcycles
      @JFMotorcycles  6 лет назад +1

      Only the name on this bike reminds scrambling and anything out of the road. The bike beneath the marketing is an old good monster. I would not take Monster out of the road. But this is just my approach and I respect you have the different one

  • @painsrides3616

    I'm sure this Ducati Scrambler is a fun bike to ride but why would anyone want to pay such a price to do it? Its not even the slightest bit off-road capable to boot. There are loads of other bike available that offer as much style with more power, more comfort, better handling and greater reliability for huge amounts less cost.

    • @JFMotorcycles
      @JFMotorcycles  6 лет назад +2

      Hi. I also do think that most of the bikes around are better choice. Especially from the money/added value point of view. XSR 900 definitely. BMW R nineT Scrambler in the end of the day as well. Comparison with the Bonneville T120 would find the winner that easy it seems. In the end it is about the brand. If someone loves Ducati, probably is ready to pay premium. For the style :)

    • @painsrides3616
      @painsrides3616 6 лет назад +2

      There is not one Ducati I don't like the looks of that includes this 1100 Scrambler.... but it would be a far stretch before I'd ever purchase one.

      I think most people buy Ducatis because they're just so gorgeous and sexy. In term of function, power and maintenance, all the best bikes are those from Japanese manufacturers.

    To bad its a Brand bike. This is what people with lots of money lean towards because they have nothing left they want so they want to show others how much money they can spend and they think it raises them up in status among others. I do not want to be a part of that mind set ever. Having nice things is one thing but to have to gloat about it over others is another. I can tell you I don't like that person and it messes up their children for sure. If you have to spend extra money to show you have money, Its a waste of money that could help others. You are telling people you don't help others because you want to be or think you are better than your fellow man. You say, I help others, You could of done more. Whatever, I don't care if they have them. I don't want to be them.

      Or…they just really like this bike. Lol. I bought mine used and feel like I got a pretty good deal.
      I actually prefer the Triumph 1200XC, but just couldn’t get past the heat from the high exhaust. Just a stupid design.
      This Ducati 1100 is a wonderful bike.
