I think this is one of the best interviews on Economy. I hear Mr Sharma regularly on US CNBC where he is a frequent guest. But he only gets few minutes. Impressed with Surabh, he was fully prepared and had done his homework. There is a lot to digest from this interview. Great observation on what will be next dominant currency. There were several sub topics that could have a full interview. Great Job. Wishing you well. As to what I am reading. Begums, Thugs and White Mughals. Fanny Parker wrote about her travels while in India.

PV and Manmohan did the same thing that Communist China did in the '80s. Lol, even a communist country was more capitalist than India during that time. It was common sense at that time, but India should have opened up its economy long before, especially when we already saw one socialist economy after another failing around the world.

I'm currently reading The Myth of Normal by Dr. Gabor Maté. I wish such titles were also translated into Indian languages to increase their reach. The book has a lot to offer in terms of improving our understanding that 'normal' doesn't necessarily mean healthy. I think its relevance isn't bound by a specific culture, and it could potentially change the way we talk about well-being in society, incorporating social, emotional, psychological, and other facets of a person."

Thanks, Saurabh, for inviting Mr. Sharma and asking such valuable questions. I have a question for all the Indians here: Why is India lagging behind? At one point in time, India and China were on a similar track, but now China’s economy is 5 times bigger, and the U.S. is 10 times larger. This is not a small issue, and we need to have a serious discussion about it.
