I am an adult music leaner playing the fiddle. Most of what I do is by ear, however I am trying to learn how to read music. And while I have had 3 different teachers, you are explaining rhythm better (at least in a way that I understand) better than any of them ever did Thank you. I'm finally getting it.
This is a great resource and will use it with all my Music classes. I know my students will love it and they will also love your energy and sense of humour too. Cheers, Louella (Music Teacher NZ/UAE)
Really fun to have music teacher like you sir .. greetings from Indonesia, I am also teaching in music class in high school, this video is really inspired n help me, can i have this video to show to my class ? need permission, thx a lot !!
Hello! Thank you for the message and I am happy to hear that this is helpful for you. Yes, you can use the videos however you want to for your classes. Thank you for watching!
Also master, MESHUGGAH has a song that only has a single note but played differently...absolutely brilliant.....once i get hold of basic concepts...i too can then start making music that i wanna make. I am a bassist......54 years......but i am not gonna give up having guys like you teaching us concepts. I do not have hassles making riffs...my problem is rhythms, counting and time signatures.
I’m loving these videos for my soon to be 6th grader but we’re wishing you had videos before this explaining all the symbols. We only have learned the symbols from Mr Henry’s Music World n there’s a lot of stuff in these clapping videos we haven’t learned yet🥴 but still loving these!
Thanks for your video episode 1 and 2, very use full for my class, but I think I cannot found the simple eight note pattern (quaver notes), do you have that pattern? thanks
If you go to my RUclips Channel you will find about 20 videos and many of them include 8th note patterns. ruclips.net/channel/UCs7Qx46_lk4ssR_RFAg9QAgvideos
I'm also just beginning to think that the one who's editing this might be sir Gordon's child (if he's married and has a child idk) it's just kind of funny starting from the 'roasted' thingy lmao but ngl it's wholesome AND educational i love it I need him to apply in our school as our music teacher
This is so great...Mr. Gordon you are so cool!
