Mine is number 167 2005 Red. The more you learn, the about these, the more impressive they are. Well done!
I have number 226, even non motorcycle people know it's something special. When I'm gone my son said it's going in his garage . MY GRANDSON SMILES KNOWING THIS.
They’re certainly a special bike, your grandson will one day be a lucky man
Have you had any major problems with it? I seen one for sale in Big Bend WI for 16,000. It has 21,000 miles. I heard they had a lot of problems? I so want one. Any thoughts?
Zero problems if used regularly.@@moomoobates9231
I have a blue Rune, it is great fun to ride and own, the parts issue can be a worry, but life’s to short to avoid such fun, bearing in mind it’s a Honda, re known for reliability 🤞🏻
I first saw a picture of one in 2004, and so wanted one that when I could afford one, the one I saw first did it for me. Awesome torque, beautiful looks, sounds as good as it goes, the only mod, apart from a unique version of the blue is an adjustable Race Tech rear suspension unit. The handling for such a big machine is surprisingly good, and I have grounded my boots through enthusiastic cornering at speed. I’ve seen footage of one of these bikes just smoking the rear tyre on forceful acceleration. One capable bike !! This bike can also serve a relaxing passive ride. The styling is timeless, and will serve any owner well, when riding amongst more modern bikes.
One other passion when riding it, is pulling up beside a Harley at the lights 😉 Should be on any bikers bucket list, even if just to ride one once
I also have a 2004 Red Rune and also a 2014 Red Valkyrie and absolutely love both of them!
We’ve had both, and yes, they are superb bikes
What a great video! Never knew about the concept bikes so much interesting information! Keep up the great work can’t wait to see more!
Ive owned one since they came out in U.S. it has never been wet or dropped ! Its the best bike for me that I have ever been on ! It is as you say very smooth but when you hit overdrive at + + + speed it still can pull out from under you ....
Thank you. This is very informative. Such an amazing design.
Great video, I just bought one in November in UK. In candy red.
Hope you enjoy it!
Looks absolutely amazing. That windshield is super sweet. Hard to believe it’s a 20yr old bike.
Yes, the condition is outstanding
Honda did not 'lose' Money on the Rune...they Spent Money on this display of prowess and excellence.
They didn't make money
@@americancruiseruk124 Exactly
I have a mint rune done 4K all chrome with Corbin seat and visor in Yorkshire
Awesome, they’re great bikes
My tune is in passion blue and chrome
Mine too, it's the best color
Great info,Adam! I'll stick with my 'customised/buggered about with', 😆'98 Valkyrie, for the time being. But, having said that, IF, I could afford a Rune, it would have to be black, as the other colours available, do nothing, for me. And, I'd have to bin the headlight, and have one that matches the front indicators, The rear mudguard would be the first thing to go, as it's so ugly, and coming down, as far as it does, looks wrong, to me, 😆 Why Honda, why? 🤢🤮 I keep meaning to pop up, and take a look your cruisers, as I'm just down the road, in Poole.
Hey Bazz,
Thanks for your comments and yes if you are down in Poole you should definitely pop up some time
All that power, style and coolness. Why the Hell is there not a pillion seat? Ridiculous
Styling is the reason
The pillion needs to buy their own.
@@5stardave yeh, have a good life. On your own.
@@americancruiseruk124 Styling? Seriously? Haha!
@@joeking4206 I don't allow freeloaders. If you can't afford your own bike, leech off someone else.
