I’ve only recently learned that Cell tried to dodge to Final Flash at the last second, and it probably would have killed cell outright had it connected, that is definitely interesting
@@phoenixfirebird4221 I'd say it's a point for both of them, Vegeta gave 100% and this could have theoretically killed cell had he taken the whole thing
@@phoenixfirebird4221 No he wasn't. Even though he wasn't fighting at 100% unlike Vegeta, that's right, he still needed to dodge it, instead of just taking it or pushing it back, pretty much like Freeza did in his confrontation on Namek...and that's quite a big difference, IMO.
@@798jeremy He was holding back. I understand DBZ logic is all over the place when it comes to power levels and all that, but he wasn't at full power, or at least exerting his full power. If he was, he would've easily deflected it.
The time Vegeta spent charging the Final Flash up was actually a helluva lot longer in DBZ, several minutes (a good part of an episode). Had it hit dead on, it very likely would have killed Cell outright. That's why Cell was worried. Yes, Goku Vs Cell had Goku much stronger than Vegeta at the time, but Vegeta charged long enough that his attack made Goku's Instant Kamehameha seem like a gentle breeze. It's basically Vegeta's most powerful attack if he takes the time to put all of his power behind it. Literally only the GT exclusive Big Bang Kamehameha (And the Big Bang Kamehameha X100) is stronger.
@@lordgeneriasOh wow, information with no evidence to support it. Friendo, that’s called headcanon. Neither attack has ever been compared by official sources so claiming one to be superior is factually incorrect.
2 things 1 I love TFS used the Final Flash theme from DBZ 2 Cell dodged the Final Flash at the last second. I remember seeing that if he hadn't it very likely could've killed Cell.
Lmao what you trying to say?! TFS used The Bruce faulconer score only for this scene. They have always been using the DBZ soundtracks but the Original Japonese ones.
I don't it would've killed Cell, since even Goku's point-blank Kamehameha couldn't kill Cell, and Goku was stronger than Vegeta when he used it. It would've done more damage than it did here, though.
I just remembered. Only the anime showed the first time Trunks, Vegeta, and Gohan went Super Saiyan, so anyone who read the manga before watching Z were shocked to see those moments.
true but at the same time using conext from past episodes it can ruin certain twists like now that Kyle has seen itr all i can say this if he saw Gohan damaged and bloodied while in SS2 form he could have guessed gohan would be the one to beat cell instead of the usual "goku is gonna train for a bit then kick his ass"
So in case no one's answered this, the person doing Perfect Cell's voice is Kurt (Takahata101). He's also the voice of Imperfect Cell and Semi-Perfect Cell, as well as Nappa, Guru, Lord Slug, Guldo, Alucard from Hellsing abridged, and more. The dude's got range lol. Also mixing up Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy is understandable. They're both made by Square Enix, and various Final Fantasy characters (mainly from FF VII, FF VIII, and FF X) appear regularly as staple characters in the Kingdom Hearts games (sans for KH3).
it funny in the anime gohan ask for goku to full attack him to go SS beacuse until thatpoint goku helt back intraining i love the way TFS takethat moment and turn it on his head
sad part is he didn't need to wait for goku, could have killed semi cell ended the nonsense but had to let that saiyan arrogance/pride screw over so many. Put it simply, Vegeta had to be stupid so the plot could keep happening
In Vegeta's defense, that's why he's around. I've read the only reason Toriyama kept Vegeta around following Namek was because he was useful as a plot device.
Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy are both games (im sure you know by now) but its interesting that you get them mixed up in your head, because SO DO I. And ive played Kingdom Hearts, I still mix them up lol
why the fuck you default to solar flare??? light grenade and final flash are offensive attacks, require charging, solar flare has a very obvious pose ,no charge time and it has zero offensive capabilities.

Krillin's Destructo Disc/Kienzan has cut every person its hit, *except* Perfect Cell.
The technique was also used by Freeza to cut, well, Freeza.
Wrong, freeza used a different one, his.
That one allows to control it after launch.
Thats filler, in the manga krillin never used the kienzan agaisnt cell.
@@shrblv yeah those were Pizzas, at the request of Goku ;)
I still hate the fact that it didn't, like grats, you just ruined the destructo disc.

That subversion of expectations really is what makes the scene.

Cell: "Hey, don't lose your head"
"Krillins about to go commit Yamcha" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
