The Lolab Valley is a Himalayan valley located in the Kupwara town, of Kashmir.
The valley has several natural landmarks and spots, such as the caves of Kalaroos.
Lolab Valley was once visited by the famous poet Sir Allama Iqbal and he wrote a poem, O Valley of Lolab! in the honour of Lolab's natural environment.
The Bangus Valley is an another sub-valley situated in the North area of Kupwara District
Bangus is about 150 Kilometers away from Srinagar and lies at an altitude of 10,000 ft. above sea level
There is no connecting road and one has to trek for around an hour to reach the meadows.
The valley is calm, serene and mesmerizing.

Bangus is really beautiful, if developed properly, could be better than Gulmarg. May be a ropeway system, and world class resorts. Best wishes from Himachal.
