definitely more detail in the Garmin.. I currently own a GoPro black edit, for my 13yo son. I would like to see the raw output of both of these. @gpscity can you host? NOT here because it compresses the hell out of video and kills the quality. Maybe Vimeo.... Thanks for the video... very well done
hmm, garmin is definitely doing better in highlight areas and in very bright as well as very dim conditions. gopro is better in mediocre conditions i guess.
Prince Of SoHo Not sure what you are asking, both recordings are "noisy" because the activity/environment was noisy. the footage on the left was from a Garmin VIRB and the footage on the right was taken with a GoPro HD3+.
Great video, thanks for comparing. I believe the VIRB looks cleaner/sharper. The GoPro has more glare and looks more washed out.
Thank you for this video. I think they both look very good.
I think Garmin's picture is better, getting more details than the Go Pro. However, The two colors are not quite the same.

I mean the audio, should be split as well, first half garmin sound, second half gopro sound.like this you cannot know which one have the best microphone.
