I agree with you mate! ATM we can’t compete we have an excellent first choice team, however our squad is not up to it that Watson is nowhere near what we need and mixed with injuries, suspensions, international breaks have taken all momentum out of us!
teams have all started to suss us out aswell and setting up to frustrate us, I think we might get into the playoffs but tbh I don’t think we’ll do out with it!
Feels like such a kick in the teeth atm as think this league was for the taking as no team is unreal this year it’s all about consistency to win to go up automatically! Need to have a sensible conversation about recruitment in the Jan transfer window to get some solid signings in like brown etc to knit the squad together and calm the youngsters down! As believe if we had more of that calibre in our squad we would’ve won at least 3 of the last five games!

Coventry game was the big warning sign for me. 2-0 up, top of the league, at home, opposition must press forward and play more open football in the second half which was a perfect set up for us......and we drew 2-2! I actually fear we may get knocked out of the play off positions eventually. We've scored 3 goals in the last 5 whereas Middlesbrough have scored 15 in the same period playing the same teams we have just previously played.

Unless we beat Sheffield United which is a huge ask and very unlikely unfortunately then top 2 is definitely gone, the wheels have definitely come off, in terms of effort we got it for near enough a full 90 which is better than recent games but unfortunately we were pretty toothless and clueless, to me it looks like we've run out of ideas, aside from the disallowed goal and the Roberts and Rigg chances we didn't do enough in the final third which is very frustrating and disappointing, again I think Le Bris has to be questioned for team selection and subs, firstly why was Connolly on the bench if he wasn't gonna bring him on, if he's not fit then why's he on the bench, also why was Mayenda dropped when he had a really good game against Millwall and Watson starts, I don't want to go in hard on the lad but for me Watson isn't ready yet, apart from winning a few free kicks and winning that 1 corner after that run from the short corner what did the lad actually do other than constantly shoot straight at a West Brom player, aside from Hume, Mepham and Ballard who were all excellent BTW, everybody else just seemed off it, Roberts was poor, even Jobe who's been brilliant this season was below par, yes u can take the positives of 10 games unbeaten, clean sheet and still unbeaten at home but honestly right now I would rather no clean clean sheets between now and January if we started to win games on a regular basis cos right now we don't look like winning games of football, we're either not at it or we play well for 1 half and then fall to pieces, yeah we didn't fall to pieces last night but we didn't really get going either, very frustrated and disappointed, this would've been a good point had we won the Preston, Coventry and Millwall games but unfortunately all we're doing now is putting more pressure on ourselves for the harder games

It's amazing how all your points are the same as we have at West Brom. We can't score anymore and draw too much. We got sussed out and can't break down teams that come to the Albion and defend. Not ruling out WBA and Sunderland won't go on a winning run at some point. Both should get in the playoffs. From who we've played Burnley and Boro should make the playoffs too. But we could miss out to Norwich or Watford.

Stats were 18 shots 2 on target to their none on target but no matter what we've got to put the ball in the back of the net to win but thought they played well if they beat sheffield it's back on

Please look at it positively, we are nine games undefeated. Look at West Brom results, they had seven draws meaning they are extremely difficult to break down. We are not the only team to have struggled against WBA.
Lots of good performances. We will give Sheffield Utd problems on Friday. We have good technical players who will relish the time they will get at Sheff U 1-1.

I think the team to watch out for is Boro, won their last 3 scoring 15 goals and if they win tonight they'll only be 3 points off

Corners for Sunderland are a complete waste of time. I think we have only scored one goal from a corner, wasn't that by Cirkin in an earlier game, this season. Be safer just kick the ball straight out and give the opposition a goal kick

We haven't got a proven goalscorer since Drogba left surely to God Sunderland fans can see this no replacement for Jack Clarke if you have no intention of replacing these quality players what the hell do you expect and why oh why do we continually buy players made of effing glass top two has gone already that's a fact.

Roberts too small and slow, always cuts in and hardly ever beats his man down the wing and the few times he does the crosses are terible as is his shooting and CORNERS.
Watson has promise but needs to beef up as was pushe off the ball so many times, attemted to shoot about 6 times and every one was blocked by the 1st defender, corneres piss poor too.
Neil aimessly wandered around midfield all game, no real contribution, has not been the same player since given the captaincy.
Bellingham had a poor game as did Isidor but he did not get any service (Cleared balls 100 miles in the air and crap passes)
Definately a downturn in form and need a spark from somewhere, unless we were hittiong above our weight for the 1st 10 games, Time Will Tell.
    SAFC till I die!
