I came for the corny horror/sci-fi, and stayed for the AMAZING interviews! He truly had a gift, for interviewing the A-List stars! He asked the questions that the true fans were wanting to know answers to...and that the stars were more than happy to answer, because they were different than the run-of-the-mill. Bob Wilkins was an American treasure.
I watched Bob Wilkins on Creature Features religiously as a kid. John Stanley replaced Bob and I continued watching until it went off the air. Creature Features also had the coolest theme music ever.
First horror show he did was Creature Features S.F. Bay Ca First movie he showed was Horror of Party Beach. He also showed the world surprise premier of Bamby vs Godzilla. Watched every Sat night humanly possible. God I loved my youth!
Yes he did . I remember in the mid 70s watching " Night of the living Dead " with my older brothers and sisters while living in SF and we ordered pizza...🤣🤣 Wow Good times. I'm 52 now
Bob Wilkins interview with the stars are classic horror host. I miss you Don De Luise. Or, Stop that Man! He's running throughout the power plant in his pajamas.
From the looks of the Bob Wilkins, Id say this was probably done in the 1970's, it's a little odd introducing horror movies from a grave yard in broad daylight, but there were lots of these late night weekend Sci-fi or horror movie programs back in the day and us kids were glued to the TV.
THERE WAS ONCE A COMMERCIAL THAT I SWEAR WAS ON AROUND THE LATE 70S that was on KTVU it was a little child upside down with a face painted on her chin there was a brick wall with flashing lights around BOB WILKINS DENIED IT but mr lobo remembered also remember the radio station commercial with CCR BAD MOON RISING & DOOR SLIGHT MY FIRE in it?
And of course, the most unbelievable part, Peter Graves in the cockpit of a jet fighter - he was too tall to fit in one 😆 PS: Air Force pilots have to be under 77 inches tall. Peter Graves was 82 inches.
