The same word is used in Urdu too, to mean the same thing. Kashish has multiple meanings such as attraction, pull, tug etc. These multiple meanings are also common to both Farsi & Urdu.

Arabic script is the most beautiful script among world languages. It is spiritually healing the mind. While working in the Middle East I used to watch all the Arabic Calligraphy murals on the walls and it used to be fascinating and spiritually elating. I don't know even a single letter in Arabic but it is very beautiful; more than beautiful it soothes you. Some day I will get an Arabic teacher to teach me the scripts

In Arabic and Persian calligraphy, we have very strict rules and any attempt to cross those rules is "painting calligraphy", which is totally out of the official rules of either Arabic or Persian calligraphy. So, my point is that this guy is teaching the Chinese version of "Arabic painting calligraphy". Sayin' this as a Persian calligraphy teacher in "Naskh" and "Nasta'liq".
I bought one of his peices where he wrote la ila ha illalah many times and made it look like a plant growing in a pot. Cost me over $300, not sure it's worth anything now, but I love it.

If you're talking true nothingness, whatever that is, then no quantum fields, no time, no space, no other dimensions, no concepts, no logic, no probabilities, no God. Then we can't even talk about "where", "nowhere", "everywhere", "before", or "after".
If you're trying to use a logic model based on this universe with its dimensions of time, space and laws to determine the properties of something that doesn't exist within it, then that's not really a valid starting point.
If laws of logic exists within your "nothingness" then it's not nothing, by your definition. So remove those.
What you're really saying is that your nothingness is by definition a nothingness that nothing can come out of. So, I guess you're right about that, since it's a tautology.
But, by your phrasing "Nothing comes from nothing", that kind of nothing can give birth to more of the same kind, which is contradiction, so it's a contradiction and a tautology at the same time, which means that the statement is meaningless.
The only way your phrase makes sense is as philosophy. And as that it's a of course a tautology.
So the real question is then - can that kind of nothingness exist, and has it ever?
You see, it's meaningless to claim anything for certain at this level, since we're unable to prove or understand. We'll just have to wait for science to explain what happened at and before the big bang, and see if that brings anything new to the table.
