I would even go for 30% if that was the only tax and it applied to all including corporations and billionaires down to poverty line!

All Gov money is loaned to make investments , benefits and services r an investment in the people
How are our services getting worse then? The government has been running deficits for over 9 years now.
And our federal debt has doubled in eight years
As a working senior of 75, with modest retirement savings, my financial advisor has been directing me to move my investments out of Canada.
The recent economic challenges suggest to me that I’ll need to work for a few more years before stepping into an uncertain retirement.

If u want Government services /benefits/ investment u need tax

Why would you need taxes for people to invest? Generally the complete opposite high taxation deters investment.
You pay already 50% and everything is falling apart. The money is stolen or wasted. Every. Single. Time.
Saves the children of the richs rhetoric need to stop.
