Question about the shoreline in Destin and surrounding beaches. We just got done with two weeks covering Pensacola Beach to Panama City Beach and we didn't find any beaches that are flat into the water. Is this a seasonal thing or is it always like that in the panhandle? We are used to beached in SW Florida that are flat and comfortable to walk on, but during our visit to the Panhandle, it was like walking on a hill or ledge at the seashore, depending on tides, it varied, but was not flat anywhere.
