Been listening to this band alot lately. During lockdown I been experimenting with Bigmuffs and Earthquake device Afterneath.making some crazy sludgefeast vibes and having fun.
Then I came across these guys n gals and thought yeah!.that's kinda the sound I'm going for, but Electric Wizard are masters of there craft.

Liz is the heart and soul of this band....a brilliant musician.....the daughter of a professional opera singer....I would say that the wizard is quite operatic!

I really like EW and don't wish to be blasphemous but they should get rid of the lead guitar on this song and instead, both guitars should play the rhythm because it's so good. The lead is just a distraction.

The mix was waaaay off at the time, they sorted it somewhat for Funeralopolis, but there was absolutely not enough riff.
