I just found that regarding the alternative motion for the dp (hcb, f) you can skip the back and go from down-back straight to forward and the dp still comes out. This being another way of doing elizabeth dp into qcf+punch.
4 years late to this, but just wanted to answer anyway. The DP shortcuts for (right, down, down-right) are: 1. HCB, Forward, button 2. Forward, HCF, button So, if you do Kyo's DP with the second shortcut, the HCF you do for it should count as a HCB of the first shortcut for the kick move (because it's a reverse DP motion). So, to do this cancel while facing right you would do forward, HCF, punch, back, kick (or 6, 41236, punch, 4, kick with numbers )
Ik that this vid is from so many years ago But ngl i aprecciate how he mashes LP so he can create space on the command list inputs so i dont get confused of what he is pressing for the combos
Hi Juice. I've recently been practicing kof xiv. While stuff here is certainly helpful, I still need help with geese's max mode combo where he does hyper hop shippuken. I've landed it a few times, but it's a struggle where I use all my effort and still can't land it consistently. I don't think if there was a tip in this video that seemed applicable for this scenario. If not, do you have any tips?
How about half circle + forward? Like Benimaru’s grab. It’s impossible to combo it with a normal attack because it needs to be fast. I can’t do it on the keyboard. You forgot to mention half circle + back/forward, how to shortcut it!!! Please make updated video man
thats why kof should have a simple inputs like guilty gear because its so frustrating if you want your character to do dragon punch and something different came out!
God KoF 13 was such a long time ago and I still play it till this day, I absolutely hated 14 and 15 looked cool but it got boring fast 13 will go on as one of the bests just like 2002 and 98
This is all very very helfull, however this stuff should also be unnessecary, shows the developers need to reevaluate some of the inputs and maybe not make so many obnoxious inputs, Simple qcf/hcf and dp motions should suffice.

Fun to have all these tricks but just the fact the game makes you cancel out of the first few frames of DP all the time… shit is impossible

no matter how many videos I watched I still suck ....long inputs don't help either
