It's fascinating for me to think that everyone of these people you passed by has their own life, their own families, friends, problems, angers, etc.. some of them do not see you at all, some ignore, some strike a pose and some raise a smile. People walk, or run in a rush somewhere. Most interactions aren't positive in urban environment, they're either neutral or negative.. that's a bit sad, but that's how is it. Wishing health to everyone.

Those sirens are deliberately obnoxious and loud as if every New Yorker is half deaf. It makes the City less pleasant.
