Firstly, God doesn’t have to refer to everything he created with the word “be” as his word. Secondly God particularly refers to Jesus as his word because Jesus’s birth is unique compared to all humans that have ever existed. Jesus was born of a virgin mother, which is naturally impossible. The refutation is wrong. For example let's say there is someone named Richardson and his friends sometimes call him Richard. If someone asks "why call him richard and not richardson" the reply is that Richard is derived from richardson and you can use both. Then the person can reply "i know people who dont call him Richard, therefore you are lying about his name." The reason this won't work is because although they don't call him Richard everyone knows Richard and Richardson are interchangeable so both are correct. So if Adam was both Adam and the Word of Allah there is no contradiction if Adam was never called the word of Allah even if we believe he has that title. In short, Adam not being called the word of Allah directly doesn't make him somehow not Allah's word.

Adam (AS) and Jesus (AS) are both created with the word of Allah but the title of ‘The Word of Allah’ is specifically given to Jesus (AS), just like Al-Masih (The Anointed One), even though both are created with the word ‘be’. Another example of this would be the title of ‘Kalimullah’ (One who converses with Allah) which is given to Moses (AS) even though according to Islam, Muhammad (SAW) also spoke with Allah during Isra wal Miraj. These titles as well as many others are given to specific prophets even if others have done the same.
Edit: Forgot to add this, Adam is still the spirit of Allah or the word of Allah too.

Firstly, God doesn’t have to refer to everything he created with the word “be” as his word.
Secondly God particularly refers to Jesus as his word because Jesus’s birth is unique compared to all humans that have ever existed. Jesus was born of a virgin mother, which is naturally impossible. ONLY because god said “be” it became possible and he was born.
Thats why God calls him his word, had he not said “be” he wouldn’t have been born.

The refutation is wrong. For example let's say there is someone named Richardson and his friends sometimes call him Richard. If someone asks "why call him richard and not richardson" the reply is that Richard is derived from richardson and you can use both. Then the person can reply "i know people who dont call him Richard, therefore you are lying about his name." The reason this won't work is because although they don't call him Richard everyone knows Richard and Richardson are interchangeable so both are correct.
So if Adam was both Adam and the Word of Allah there is no contradiction if Adam was never called the word of Allah even if we believe he has that title. In short, Adam not being called the word of Allah directly doesn't make him somehow not Allah's word.
