orieez eli Close the picture if you have it open. If it is a jpeg then you need to choose "open as" and then select camera raw at the bottom. Hope that helps!

Hi! i need advice/suggestion on a good system for photo editing, what would you suggest? at the moment i'm looking at the Mac Book Pro 13.3 inch. what is your thought on it? or do you have a better recommendation? i know a desktop would be more feasible but i have to be mobile so my needs requires me to get a laptop. Which would you suggest? Thank You
You are a good teacher. thank you i am learning a lot and you arent monotoned so its not torture lol. can you please let me know what program you use for screen capture if you have anytime? i know its off topic but id appriciate it.
HI, I was following this video and tried to open a photo which I took in RAW mode with .ARW extension as I am using Sony Alpha, but it was not getting "Camera Raw" option in drop down and then I converted the image to .DNG extension with the help of ADOBE converter but still I am not getting the Camera Raw option in the drop down.
To get a blurred Background (also called 'bokeh') you need an wide open aperture and or a high focal length, on cameras with a small sensors, you can't get a great bokeh. So if you have an APS-C or full frame sensor, you just need an high focal length and or an wide open aperture. (Like f1.8, f1.4, 2.8 etc.)
Lovely video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you researched - Riddleagan Made Masterpiece Remedy (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great one off product for learning professional photo editing without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my close friend Aubrey after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.
+TechMindBlow Hello, I set my camera to raw mode but then when I bring the photo into photoshop and open Camera Raw I notice it says Jpg. Im confused as to why that would happen? (Im still fairly new to this)
go to edit/preferences/camera raw/ and set JPEG and TIFF handling to "automatically open all supported" it will then open JPEGs in camera raw as well. by default it's set to support raw images only. however you won't have so much controll since JPEG is an already compressed format.
Hello everybody! Can someone help me I open the image, edit it and when I get out of raw editing window (I press open image in right bottom of the raw editing window) the image does not appear the way it was in the raw editing window, like everything didn't apply to it. Why doesn't it stay as it was in the raw editing window?
i dont understand how do you open the file in raw mode
orieez eli U need a camera that puts ur picture's into Raw or Raw+Jpeg files
orieez eli Close the picture if you have it open. If it is a jpeg then you need to choose "open as" and then select camera raw at the bottom. Hope that helps!

how do you open the pic as the background layer...... everytime i open it it goes to new layer
I am confused as of how did you get to open that window since mine does not open such extra window.
It would have been helpful to see how you whatever it is you are using on the right side. Like open Photoshop and show us how you got to that section.
what setting on the camera did you use to get the back ground blured out? I have a Nikon coolpix

Try and open your apeture to its max usually 1.8 to 2.8 does it
