Bought this seeder off eBay. Instructions for assembly were in Chinese with very poor photos. Found enough video info on RUclips to assemble ok. This seeder works great!! My only issue is with changing planting depth. The amount of plastic made me doubt its durability. Mine came with a three year warranty. This is a GREAT device and I think it will be durable. Used it today in my garden. No regrets!!

Quick question if you don't mind answering...
Have you tried it in a no-till environment? Those planting tips look like they could punch through the roots of annual crops to plant in a standing field {with a tool like this I feel like it makes more sense to plant before cutting down the old crop rather than try to plant into the residue}

@@andrewparry1474 I actually went to Ebay and asked one of these sellers and they said it doesn't work in ground that isn't soft and tilled.
I bet it would work if you only cropped one season and tarped in the off-season, letting the soil biome break everything down under the tarp.
But planting into standing crop seems like a no go.
It's unfortunate, a gizmo like this made for standing crop would be such a blessing. If it was really reliable and durable I would be willing to invest maybe up to 500 bucks on one.

@@andrewparry1474 ACTUALLY! You reignited my interest to look into this so I went searching again.
There's a tool I am naming below in its own paragraph that seems promising. It's only made for large seeds (maize yes, wheat and barley and rye no, but small grains tend to do decent broadcast if you time it right) but I am definitely planning to do further research and possibly maybe buy one.
